TIPS FOR HOSTING AND LEADING EFFECTIVE BIBLE STUDY ON WHATSAPP

Below are the tips you need to organize Bible Study Class on WhatsApp:

1. If you are making use of text outline/PDF, let it be ready and store where it can be easily located on your phone storage.


2. If you are using recorded audio outline, make sure you have reduced the size of the original file. This is very necessary for your participants to be able to download the file with little data and in few seconds when it is time to listen to the audio study.


3. If you are using text outline all through, you can combine live audio recording with the text outline. This can be good for your introduction, response to question, more explanations, and the concluding part of the Bible Study.


4. If the Bible study is a recorded audio, you must be sure that your participants are listening to the audio. You can monitor the level of their participations. You can ask your participants to make use of “EMOJI” like waving of hands if they are listening at their end or you can ask them to type “YES” if they are following the study.


5. Avoid the use of video because of delay in uploading and downloading. Video will consume large internet Data.


6. Allow question for discussion during the Bible Study, so that your participants can contribute their opinions on the study. You can type or record audio question and ask your participants to make their contributions.


7. To encourage contributions/responses from your participants, you can make comments on their responses with words like: you are correct (if it is so.), ok, good answer, etc. You can also query any responses, if you need
more clarification.


8. If you did not see any response from your participants, you can invite any participant by typing his/her name and then ask for contribution.


9. Give room for your participants to ask question. You can use text or live audio recording to attend to questions.


10. Time management is very important, since you are not engaging your participants with video. 45 Minutes is moderate for the entire study.

Step 2:

Get people into the group that you have created.
You can achieve this by adding people manually or through the link of the WhatsApp group. Just copy the group link and send it to people. When the link is clicked by those already on WhatsApp, they will be added to the group automatically.


Step 3:

Agree with the members of the WhatsApp group you have created on a date to have the Bible Study on WhatsApp.

Note: Before you launch your Bible Study on WhatsApp, l will show you tips that will be of great help to you in achieving the objective of your teaching.

based on my Idea, I defined it as a way to make the study and teaching of the Word of God available on WhatsApp platform for people at their comfort zone for spiritual development, knowledge for godly living, understanding God’s will, and for any other benefits. In this internet age, distance is no more a barrier to the coming together of God’s people for the study of the Word.

MY STORY BEHIND POSSIBILITY OF BIBLE STUDY CLASS ON WHATSAPP

When Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) total lockdown was declared (in Nigeria) around March, 2020, many organization including religious, businesses, and offices were faced with the challenge of having physical contact with their staff, members, and customers. Because people have to meet for religious, business and other purposes, they have to start embracing the virtual medium of meeting.

In the body of Christ where I worship, the Evangelical body of the Church decided to open Facebook and WhatsApp page respectively in order to reach out to the spiritual and physical need of the Church members.

Sunday services were held on Facebook live while other weekly services were held on WhatsApp platform. The recorded Facebook services were always sent to WhatsApp platform for those that could not join Facebook live service for one reason or the other.

I was also given opportunity to lead services/programmes on the above selected platforms.
Since that time, the Church has been conducting various services/programmes on Facebook and WhatsApp.

Here are some of the programmes we have been able to conduct on Facebook, WhatsApp and Zoom: Sunday services, Bible study, prayer meetings, retreat, meetings, house fellowship meeting, anointing service, and community hymn singing.

Part of the good things that I can point to in the cause of covid-19 pandemic is all about the knowledge I have been able to gather on how to use the power of internet to impact lives for God and also improve presence of business on the internet for maximum profits.

As a result of my experience in leading Bible Study Class on WhatsApp during and after Covid-19 pandemic, I have been able to create a complete step-by-step guide eBook that will take you through the process of mastering how to host and lead a participatory, interesting, and insightful Bible Study Class on WhatsApp. I will give the eBook to you free of charge later.

I boarded a tricycle from Mushin going to Palm Avenue in Lagos Nigeria; on making turning to join Iyana-Isolo, the tricycle rider had difficulty in making the turning due to one Car driver that was also trying to make turning;

as a result of the tricycle rider trying turning he caused obstruction for others.

One motorcycle rider that was very close to us made this statement in Yoruba Language about the tricycle rider-

"Wo Bo Ti N Laagun, Nitori Pe Koi Ti Mo Wa"
Meaning "See How Is Sweating Due To His Lack Of Experience In Riding".

When I observed the tricycle rider that I boarded, indeed, he was sweating.

As I was meditating on the statement, I received this prayer point from my spirit and I prayed the prayer immediately for myself .

Here is the prayer and I want you to also pray it for yourself.

Prayer in Yoruba Language :

Gbogbo Ilaagun Aimose Ninu Aye Mi, Opin De Ba O Li Oruko Jesu.

Prayer in English :

God Let An End Come To Every Sweat Of Lack Of Experience In All My Endeavour In The Name Of Jesus.

May the eyes of God be upon you for good as you go to bed tonight in Jesus' name .

As you go to sleep tonight, I pray that this night will not be a night without vision in the name of Jesus.

BEWARE OF EVIL REPLACEMENT IN YOUR LIFE
