Uni applications (10 schools)- Dec/Jan 2021. I made up my mind last year that I must start my PhD in 2022.
1st admission offer with partial funding: Jan 19, 2022
2nd admission offer with partial funding: February 11, 2022
3rd admission offer with full funding: May 12, 2022

Passport capturing: July 6th
Passport collection: July 21st

CAS application: July 22nd
CAS received: July July 25th

Visa application submitted: July 26th
Biometrics: July 27th (Ikeja TLS walk-in)

I only uploaded my TB test and offer letter from the uni, my CAS stated that I was not expected to pay tuition fees and that I had a yearly maintenance of £16k so no need for POF.

Paid call: Aug 15th (decision made)
Collection mail/ Delivery mail: August 22nd
Passport delivered with vignette sitting pretty: August 23rd

Priority Visa does not give you priority Biometrics appointment, only Super Priority Visa gives Priority Biometrics appointment.

Consequently, her Appointment date and time remains the same. What she will enjoy is a quick decision ( 5 business days).

You don't need to choose flexi, just walki-in with her and pay with your debit card at the TLS.

Others may have one or two things to add.

please, i have been told to write ielts before i get CAS from my desired university. The ielts date is 6th of August, and the resumption date is September 26. Can i still meet up with time? - looking at the time the result will be released(about 13 days), visa application time and i'm confused, when should i start putting my POF together?

Ask for the latest start date, with that you can map if you’ll have enough time or if you should defer to January.

It really depends. Direct or connecting flights. For connecting flights the last time I checked I could see prices for 300k. Direct using BA was 1m now it's like 1.5. I calculated this for me, myself and my son.

Now that stopovers in certain countries require transit visas, connecting flights might be off the table. Especially since most people are in a rush to get to uni and don’t have time to apply and wait for the transit visa.

Please can anyone confirm if tls lagos has resumed flexi appointments? Thank you

Yes, Just carry the print out of ur booking and go to ABJ TLS tomorrow or any day u prefer and tell them you came for FLEXI service, they know what to do next, the guy at the door will write FLEXI on your booking and when you get inside u will be required to pay 42k with ur bank debit card, simple.

Unfortunately you cannot view or check appointment availability until you have gotten to that stage. That is pay your IHS and Visa fees.

Hi everyone. Please is there anyone applying to a PhD in law? What field of study did you choose on the first page of the application? Also, in the course choice page, what “research area” did you choose, only ‘environmental management/pollution control’ is somewhat law related.
