Gevey unlockIf your phone is jail broken, it could be that the phone was Hacktivated. You can use sam from cydia to activate the phone, then you will be able to get push and activate FaceTime. mrinsurer: My Iphone 4 cannot dictate sim...this happened after switch it off when entering church on sunday.I have tried several tricks including turning the flight mode on and off and calling '112' and droping after 2 seconds.Please I need help...i am using mtn sim card.You said you have been dialing 112, that means you use Gevey. It could be that you are not getting the steps right and MTN can be very funny too with Gevey on iPhone 4. Are you getting the normal Gevey "welcome message"? If yes, all you need do is try and follow the steps the way you should, I'm sure it will work and you can also try other network sim apart from MTN too. |

tumababa: they are scared of jailbreak not to talk of tethered. i sold a jailbroken iphone4 factory unlocked to one guy and he said he wanted to confirm from his apple expert if its fake, d expert told him to check if there is cydia there,he said yes, next thing, the guy started shouting dat i sold a fake iphone to him. I was dumbfounded. Unfortunately, there was no one in their office dat knows about iphone. it took me 2 hrs to lecture and show them the meaning of jailbreak and how to identify a fake iphone. cos of that, i dont jailbreak my iphones before selling anymore.U also remember our scenario with that white guy in Adeniyi Jones then. Can u believe he can't use a non-jailbroken iPhone now? Menh, I tell people, if u must sell a factory unlocked iPhone, sell it without jailbreak unless the customer request for it to avoid unnecessary dramma. I also remember the MD of one Filling station, he noticed his manager could do so many stuffs on his iPhone 4 so he was like WTF, I use 4s so I should do better. He asked the manager the secret behind the cool stuffs, he was told its jailbreak. After jailbreaking his phone, one day he decided to do OTA upgrade then no way cos his device is already jailbroken, I tried my best to convince him. He said no. 2 days ago, he called me telling me he can't find confirmSms on the iPhone again and that he so much enjoy that feature. Told him that's not possible without jailbreak cos he's already on 5.1 without jailbreak then he was like I want to jailbreak again. And that's currently not possible. See, the bottom line is, no matter how useful you think jailbreak is, some people think its "evil". Apple don brain-wash so many people. I know 1 or 2 people on here like that. Can't start naming names now cos I don tire of "e-war" The problem with most people is; they find it hard to try new things. Count my words. "if you've ever used a jailbroken iPhone, U will never use a non-jailbroken iPhone. U will wonder how you were coping without jailbreak" I'm sure when Steve Jobs was alive, his iPhone was also jailbroken. |
