So many resigned their jobs to face the YouWiN! program fully. This program has been successful but these delays in tranche releases are frustrating both the businesses and the awardees.

We need calculated actions to get the media come to our aids. The delay in tranche releases is too much. The so called Nigerian factor should not be played in everything.

You would have read my post well before responding. I never say or imply that my friend will give anyone any price. I never intended charging anyone for any piece of information on nairaland. I only said I will ask my Pastor friend how he did his own so I can share the info here FREE OF charge (FOC) because I believe that everyone will benefit from such FREE info. As I observed that almost everyone that commented that they did trademarks passed through a middle person.

Secondly, I didn't just qualify my pastor friend with the title pastor, but he is a Pastor whom I know will NOT give me misleading information to share here. And for your information, even myself am a Reverend. If you so wish you can attack me on that.

Thirdly, go back and check all my posts, I have never and will never ask anyone to pay me or pay any other person for any information.



Lastly, the rate of unfounded and unsubstantiated attacks on this thread since sometimes now called for serious concern. And some of us may start giving way henceforth because we are not here for attack and counter attack. We are here because of the courtesy and communal spirit we noticed at the beginning of this thread.

On the issue of trademarks, please you all should confirm very well before you release your money. A pastor friend of mine did his own trademarks directly early this year and I will be in a meeting with him tomorrow at Abuja so I will confirm from him the process and post it here by Wednesday.

Another mail from YouWiN. But I think this is NOT necessarily because no awardee will ever make such mistake to bribe any monitor after the warnings during training.

No. You are only demanded to make good sales and show your turn over either through your bank account or cash sales book.

Receipt of purchases
Tax paid
PAYE
Physical inspection of your machinery or what you purchased
Pictures of your machinery
Physical interaction with your employed staff to confirm job creation.

My monitor visited me today and it was all OK.

Good morning house. Why is everybody quiet?

YouWiN may not continue after this YouWiN 3.

I triggered for 3rd tranche on Friday. The earlier we trigger the better. It appears they want to finish this YouWiN 3 as fast as possible. I learnt that all 2nd tranche have been finalized alert will start rolling in while 3rd tranche will be processed immediately.

I read on news that YouWiN 3 Awardees were protesting none payment of tranche 2 and 3 in Taraba State.

Youwin sec is no longer responding to our calls...These guys must be upto something fishy, they had all the needed time to pay us since last year september but they were delaying d whole process until it degenarate into the present mess!

Fellow Awardees, I must confess to u dat our case is no longer funny. We must do somthing nw b4 its too late. We worked so hard 2 get d Youwin grant, hence , we must work even harder to get our hard earned money. At dis juncture I think if anybody here knows any top class individual who is in any position to help us in d form of Sanators, Advacates, etc, we shud contact them nw !!!

We need to be very careful to avoid causing more problems.

Tranche 2 Disbursement update

Please note that other awardees will continue to be processed in batches as their goals are met and confirmed by monitors.

Our God is a prayer answering God. Since we had been calling on Him on this thread He had always answered us with speed.

It was just this last Friday we declared prayer and fasting and good news has started rolling in.

May the alert not delay again by God's grace.

I buy @Alaolani view that those who can fast till 6pm should go ahead. Those who cannot fast up to 6pm can break anytime from 12noon depending on how far they can go.

I will also add that we should please take good time out to pray very well as we fast. Most especially those of us that have been paid, I know we are busy now, but please let us focus more on prayer as we fast.

I just concluded my first session of prayer from 5.30am (after my family devotion) till 6.30am.

Thank God for the fasting and prayer. Good news will follow in Jesus name.

Am in batch 1 and I have been paid but I can't afford to relax until everyone is paid. Am still steadfastly praying for the release of funds for those in batch 2 and everyone that has not been paid.

Just got news from a fellow awardee that the YouWIN! secretariat is done processing batch 2 for payment, but needs go-ahead from the presidency or approval from the in-coming minister of finance before payment can be effected. I strongly doubt this info is correct cos I want to assume the approval given by NOI before she left covers Tranche 2 payments to all awardees. Anyone received similar info?

When I was expecting I called my bank manager (You know they are treating us like millionaire we are now) she told me that nobody is left out in the payment. That the delay in disbursement is due to bank processing in batches.
