My prince drastically changed me into a sexy pretty preggy lady, he kon give me all the whole attribute wey dey scatter hubby head whenever I dress lol*don't mind me..

Congrats to all my July Teamies, we have made it this far, and we have started counting down in weeks#yipeee... So as to be on a safe side, I suggest we all start packing our hospital bags down, let's also take note of taking care of our breast and nipple in preparation for our LO's food... Let's keep up with our exercise, nd other necessary activities that can be of help.. I pray for a prefect and smooth delivery, for us all.Amen

It's important for every pregnant to always register with ob/gyn doctors, all dis regular doctors don't help at all o. That was how they aborted a Friend's pregnancy, because she complained of little bleeding at 6 weeks not knowing it's implantation bleeding, after d D anC she almost died wen d real bleeding come start well well, it was God dat saved her, she was later transferred to an ob/gyn

Please be very very careful of the medication you take first trimester, that was how I was given alpha beta artheeter and I had a miscarriage after completion of the injection.
If you’re not comfortable with the prescription see a consultant of internal medicine because diclofenac is category C for pregnant women

I remembered wen I had my first child thru CS too, I had not eaten anything dat day, and throughout dat day after d cs I wasn't allowed to eat anything, I almost cried as d hunger wey dey wire me no be from dis planet, d following day wen I requested for solid food, na so d nurses said the only thing am allowed to take is pap or agidi, chai! I was so angry, but wat can I do? Na so I just stylishly fast for 3 days o, before I could eat wat I want.

How did you cope from 8am to 7pm? This my baby wey like food pass anything. I wake up at night to eat else no sleep ooo na turning and kicking i go get till i eat. Eg i ate eba and soup around 9pm by 1:30am i was awake i had to eat bread and tea before i sleep oooo. Thanks mama!!!

Evening house, pls do I need to wash all baby cloths, shawl, towel, flannel before using them? Or it's not necessary, though they are all brand new, just want to know.

U don't av to be registered for anc at an hospital before u see a doctor. Just let d doctor know u are pregnant so as to prescribe the right drug for u. Malaria can not be underestimated in pregnancy o. Get tested and receive d right drug abeg.

I gave birth on Monday and have been battling with no milk production from the breasts, I have washed with some herbs, used hot water massage. Now the breast has started producing little quantity of milk.

This morning while bathing I noticed the lower part of my right breast is very hard (but not painful).

I've been crying and praying that it shouldn't be what I thought it is.

I want to check it till next week before I go to complain at the hospital.

Please, has anyone experienced that?

U ve said it all, only God has d final say. Everyone of us have gone thru one issue or the other. Am only trying to point out dat 37 weeks baby has no complications, so far they have a healthy weight and can breathe on their own. All I know is either we like it or not, baby will come wen he/she is ready, nobody determines wen to give birth, except if it's a planned CS. Only God knows wen.
It will end in praise for us all

Am I tired of being pregnant? Yes!
I've been on this thread year in, year out since 2015 having my 1st pregnancy later miscarried in April 2015. Got pregnant in June same year and delivered healthy baby in March 2016. Miscarried 3months pregnancy in september 2017. Got pregnant again in November 2017 which was threatened that made me stay in hospital for weeks and bed rest for months. Unfortunately, I gave birth to an angel baby at 28weeks in June 2018.
So if I say after this one, I'm done, nobody should say 'see you in 202*'. My body needs rest while I pick up my career where I left it

Thank u my sister. There is nothing wrong with having a baby at 37weeks, once d baby has an healthy weight then they can be allowed to go home. Even children born at 28 weeks, once they measure 2kg they will be discharged to go home, not to talk of 37 weeks dat would av weighed more Dan 2kg and dat can breathe on their own. Our babies will come wen dey are ready. Period

Where did you read this one? it is a totally wrong information. From 37weeks is full term and no sickness or disease yada yada. Some give birth at 36weeks sef and go home immediately with their babies.

My sister in as much as we can be anxious to see our lo. Babies will come wen they are ready. 37 weeks is early term but dat 37 weeks baby is prone to sickness and disease is not true. I av a friend who gave birth to two of her children at 36 weeks due to PPROM and the last at 40 weeks + the children are doing perfectly well. Even d last falls sick often Dan the first two she had. So, it's God who knows wen this babies are ready. Av been on bed since I got pregnant, so it's normal for me to say 37 weeks, not easy being on bed most of the time, but am grateful for going thru this pregnancy stage, am 33 weeks and God who has been helping me all dis while, will see me and everyone of us thru it all. So babies will come wen they are ready, only God knows wen.

And that you can always use the bowl over and over again?

What is a Sitz bath?
A sitz bath is a bath in which only the buttocks and hips are immersed in water.
It is recommended to do sitz bath when you need the surface of your buttocks or vagina to touch the water (which usually contains disinfectants or drugs)
Sitz baths are great for treating hemorrhoids, vaginal infections and for fast healing of tears that occur during birth.
These sitz bath bowls fit right over your toilet bowl and offers a convenient way to soak and soothe the area.
How do I make a Sitzbath?
1. For treatment of yeast, make the water a lot warm, add half a capful of Savlon and half a capful of apple cider vinegar and sit on the howl for 10-15 minutes. Pat the vaginal area dry and wear cotton panties. Do this first thing in the morning and nightly and say bye to constant vaginal infections.
2. For treatment of hemorrhoids, make the water a bit warm, add 2 table spoons of Epsom salt and 2 table spoons of glycerin and sit especially after using a poop.
Some recommend using cold water as against warm water.
3. For treatment of episiotomy. The water should be warm and NOT hot. Add a capful of Savlon, a tablespoon of sea salt and sit for 10-15 minutes about 4 times in a day.

And finally the princess arrived on 20th of May, EDD is 24th of May. She weighed 3.3kg, labour was without complications but wasn't easy.

Breastmilk not coming but we are trying to make it come. The stitches still painful but all in all, I thank God for a successful delivery.

Team June, how body o. Thank God I'm 37weeks, it's been God all the way and pray to see me through the remaining 2weeks. Yes o, I've been praying and talking to lo 39weeks is our appointed time and I'm done.
I cant walk normally and the heaviness below is not bae. Twale to the real iya ibeji. If I hadnt given birth before, I would be visiting hospital every time I feel braxton hicks
I'm having last scan next week and wonder what lo will weigh now because from 52kg, I am now 70kg.

Nawa, wen me am praying to God and telling lo 37 weeks, since Dats full term already. u dey pray for 39 weeks, even at 33 weeks, I can't walk properly again, am tired of always on d bed, my feet hurt and the pressure in my pelvic area no be small. But in all God is good, it will definitely end in praise for us all. Our babies shall be healthy.

Good evening July teamies and other waddling mamas, thank God for the BA from our mamas, I pray God sees the rest of us through this amazing journey.. My question are thus:
1) which EDD should I follow, my own calculation with my LMP or the first scan I did @9weeks?
2) what week is best to go for my maternity leave?
3) Am 33weeks today, for the past 5-6 days, my prince as been kicking down below my lower abdomen/pelvic region, hope its normal?
4) Been having severe chest pain, on and off. What could me the reason?

3)I think it's normal, baby is probably in d head down position by now. Mine also kick a lot in dat region and sometimes feel he/she is resting on my bladder, which gives multiple trips to d toilet to urinate
4)it could be ur uterus putting pressure on dat area. But u will need to call ur doctor on dat, or go for check up at the hospital.

Cappo, I am already getting tired o . My vee jay is heavy and thick, same with bum bum and sometimes baby acts like she wants to stand up inside my tummy. My legs will just seize next thing I'll get is madam swimming and I can't bend down again o. I can't wait sincerely

I noticed same thing with me too, my vagina is also thick and I feel pressure down there always, sometimes it feels like it's opening sef. And as for baby, most times I feel baby is walking in my tummy, d movement is wow! Don't worry, it will surely end in praise

I checked in at d hospital around 7pm nd was transfer to d maternity ward immediately
V.E was done around 7:30 I was 5cm dilated... I was admitted immediately
D contractions are getting more hot and intense
