Therefore, most old houses are always in the core centre of the settlements, with newer structures always surfacing on the outer layer from generation to generations. Those old houses tell the story of each family, the genealogy of each individual, the literature of the ancestors of each family. That is why yoruba history is too rich and the culture is too strong.
