Twitter renegades suffering from severe pain of the crowd that welcomed Buhari in Maiduguri have started bringing their fake news to NL too.

@Seun Osewa -- u better be watchful before these renegades will bastardized this platform with fake news and misinformation like they did on Twitter.

@Lalasticlala and @Mynd44 - i will advise you guys to verify news before pushing it. Do not let them spoil NL like they did on Twitter.

Politics / Cowardice Of The Unknown Gun Men? by superstar1(m): 2:34pm On Jun 19, 2021
For almost 6-8weeks, the criminal Unknown Gun Men suddenly appeared on the political scene maiming and killing security agents and launching arson attacks on defenseless Government institutions.

In a reaction to the madness, FG deployed the Super Cop Abba Kyari and his team in a bid by Government to address the criminal IPOB and ESN members masquerading as UGM in the language they understand. In a spate of less than 14 days, peace has been reinstated in the restive SE where those criminals were holding sway.

The surprising part of it is the ease at which they were dislodged, even Girls Brigade would have took on UGM if armed and still dislodged them with ease.

The Dilector should be ashamed of his army he was feeding with groundnut and sugarcane, which cannot even stand against Boys Scout not to talk of Police and Army. Well, the UGM are as cowardly on the field as their runaway Dilector hiding away in UK. Why are runaway cowards always the one leading the imaginary online country?

As the Unknown Gun Men are being masked, the question on our lips is - Is this how cowardly UGM is?

Thank you and I appreciate your maturity.

The constitution does not recognise secession or referendum or Sovereign National Constitutional Conference.

1. We need to get the constitution amended to recognise the aforementioned. This can be done with a bridge building and alliance of NC, SW, SE and SS.

2. Afterwards convey a SNCC where a new constitution will be written with full an explicit insertion of referendum and secession into the new constitution.

3. Based on the new constitution, call for referendum that will be supervised by UN.

4. Based on the result of the referendum activate the secession clause.

This was th peaceful process of dissolution of Yugoslavia and USSR. Those nations constitution supported it.

The question has always been who in the UN Security Council will back a secession without a constitutional backing of the Sovereign Nation? None, because all of them have secession cries in their backyard --- China has Tibet and Taiwan, Russia has Chenchya, US has the State of California and now Texas, UK had Scotland, Canada has Quebec, Spain has Basque and Catalonia, France only gave semi-autonomous status to Monaco.

Secession is not a straightforward jacket, except you are ready to go to full scale war and be successful like South Sudan, Eritrea and Bosnia Hezergovina, Croatia etc or you can fail like Biafr.a or Tamils of Sri Lanka, UNITA of Angola and now FARC of Colombia.

This is the bitter truth IPOB will never tell their gullible adherents.

I can rem this discussion back then!

Politics / Insecurity: Withdraw Troops From Igboland, Onyeka Onwenu Tells Buhari by superstar1(m): 12:20am On Jun 11, 2021
Human right activist and former Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of the National Centre for Women Development, Onyeka Onwenu, yesterday called on President Muhammadu Buhari to withdraw the Nigerian troops deployed in south east and dialogue with secessionist agitators in the region.

The request was as a result of outcry over alleged extrajudicial killings of Igbo youths by the security operatives.

Onwenu who spoke at a press conference organized by the Credible Igbo Women Initiative, CIWI, in Lagos, expressed concerns over the wanton killings in Igboland.

She said, “We come here together with one thing in our mind: peace, love and equity. Something dreadful is happening in south east right now. I happened to come from Imo state and I know what people are passing through there. Please, federal government should stop the killings

Some people want to agitate for referendum, it is their right. Some people want to cry out that they are being marginalized, it is their right. Listen to them. You may not agree with them, but they have the right to speak. We are begging, we are asking, please let’s sit down and talk about what is going on. Let’s call our people who are agitating, who are not happy with the situation and talk to them. Nigerian government let’s talk. Pull out the troops from Igboland.

“I want to use this opportunity to reach out to our young people to embrace dialogue. Please, come let’s talk. We will stand for the right of Igbo people”, Onwenu appealed.

Meanwhile, CIWI, in a communique read by Elvira Silas, condemned the reckless spilling of innocent people by the security operatives, and militarization of Igboland and apparent threat by the federal government to use maximum force in dealing with the problem of insecurity in the south east.

The communique read in part, ” we call on the federal government to convoke a security conclave forthwith and stop the bloodletting and remove killer squad from Igboland. No more killings, no more brutality, no more harassment and intimidation of our children.

“We also call on the government to console and compensate the men and women whose children met their untimely death in the hands of the gunmen, both known and unknown.”

Guess what - they are the loudest with their online fraud of a nation that will never come grin grin grin grin

Just replace the name of state with Kaduna or Lagos, Tinubu and El Rufai would have been in trouble today.

U would even think Tinubu has been holding political offices since 1999 with the way they talk about him as if he is the beginning and the end of their problem, whereas Abaribe and Ekeremadu have been holding political offices since 1999 without anything to show their people for it apart from their mansions and cars! grin grin grin grin

They should go to their offices not to curse them.

That is what responsible usage of social platforms entails. It is a right - can be given and be taken away when you misuse the right as stated in UN Charter Article 19-3b and 20.

E-commerce has become a veritable source of enhancing trade across borders. That is grounded as we speak. FDI will be looking away from Nigeria. There is no proof offered by FG in proof Twitter is irresponsible in allowing comments to be twitted that is capable of destabilising Nigeria. If by that is meant comments expressing holding government to account, gross dissatisfaction with Government and canvassing for self-determination then the position of the FG is misplaced. Freedom is akin to smoke - it will find expression sooner than later when it becomes ignited by the tension of the gag!

E-commerce takes place on homepage of vendors, IG, FB and WhatsApp. With Twitter being the 6th used Social Media App in Nigeria, the impact is less significant in comparison with the aforementioned E-commerce platform.

2ndly, which investor uses Twitter to form an opinion. They will rather consult CNBC, Bloomberg, major international Banks in the country and the big 4 consulting firms for serious investment decision and advisory services. Your position holds no ground on that and is mere propaganda.

If you are really serious with that your assertion that Twitter is not being used to prompt violence and war against the state, contravening Article 20 of UN Charter, then you are likely to be a sparing user of Twitter.

How is FG losing money? Pls explain. Is Twitter paying tax in Nigeria?

Or is whatever we even agree we are losing in monetary terms not better than the lives we can lose if the platform is allowed to be used to destabilize the nation leading to war and destruction as seen in Libya and Syria?
