OK. First have you checked the university/institution you're changing to, and ensured that you met their requirements?
If you don't have any problem with revealing those details, can you say what your JAMB UTME score is, and what course and institution you intend to change to?

Yes I've checked and I meet their requirements.

True, University of Ibadan used to use the O'level once upon a time for admission purposes during postutme registration. However, as time went by, they found out most students could not defend the results they tendered to the University. So, there you go. Why UI stopped considering O'levels.

Ibadan's cut-off mark for Nursing was 68.125 last year. Hence, let's assume you applied to study Nursing last year with a score 246, below you would find your target postutme score.

246/8= 30.75

68.125 - 30.75= 37.375

37.375 X 2= 75 (Approx.).

Aim to score 80 in the postutme. Practice solving questions under simulated exam conditions without a calculator. Work on your timing and accuracy.

Dear Cardiologist, I would also be graduating from Physiology at Ibadan this year. I would want to help you see your chances practically.

University of Ibadan pegged her merit cut-off mark at 76.5 last year. Let's use your score of 260 as a scenario to see what you needed to score at the last post utme.

260/8= 32.5

76.5 - 32.5= 44

44 X 2= 88 (What you would have needed to score in last year's post utme to be eligible for Medicine).

Calculators are not allowed.

Can you do it?

Can you beat the previous year's cut off mark by 2 or more?
