Jobs/VacanciesWhat To Do In School To Get Employed In Nigeria On/before Graduation by Surebuttons(op): 10:49pm On Nov 30, 2020
Are you wondering how you can get a job in Nigeria with no connection or experience?

Then here is the deal:

Today I am going to reveal to you step by step process you can follow if you want to get your dream job in Nigeria.

According to this statistic, over 20.9million people are unemployed in Nigeria. And it is not surprising that one of the greatest problems of today’s undergraduates is the fear of not getting a job.

After all, you spent so much time in school studying hard to graduate with at least a second class upper when it seems like most government schools make getting a first-class almost impossible not because no student deserves the merit but it is almost a norm in Nigerian universities to make getting certain grades difficult.

After getting through all that, these same students are left battling with unemployment. The fact that there is a popular notion that there are no jobs doesn’t mean there are no jobs indeed. Some people still get good jobs. For some, we can agree that knowing the right people got them there but in a few instances, we see how those with outstanding results have companies queuing up and offering them a position in their company.

It is, however, obvious, that those are in the minority; the majorities who may not have attained the zenith when it comes to grades but are smart and intelligent are usually the ones at facing the brunt of unemployment.

Admittedly, sometimes, it is because all these graduates can boast of is their certificate; they have no skill or experience, even from internship or volunteering services.

Getting a white-collar job is not to be limited to your school degree; it takes a lot more to secure that executive job. So this article will show you where you may have missed it up and how to correct the error and get the job of your dreams even though the competition is stiff.

This is why https://passbuttons.com came to rescue every students both rich and poor. There at passbuttons.com everyone's effort is valued and differing needs are acknowledged, accepted and met.

Passbuttons helps you to showcase to the world your academic activities and in turn rewards you with scholarships while in school and job on graduation.

Passbuttons also trains you on content writing and executive function coaching.

And lots more.

EducationThose Words That Make Us Fail The Essay-Even When We Think You Got It All by Surebuttons(op):
There are some couple of factors that maim our essays and make us lose marks after having written so well (in our own understanding). One of the factors to consider is consistency in the choice of the particular English you apply in your essay, say British English or American English.
If you choose British English (which is the very one we speak and write in Nigeria ) make sure not to confuse things in terms of spelling and tenses, most importantly. For instance, the British English spelling of centre is ‘centre’ while that of the American English is ‘center’. In terms of tenses [you have to verify this with your Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary] some words such as ‘get’ and ‘prove’ do not take ‘en’ in their past participles. In their irregularity, they take varied forms. For instance, though we have irregular verbs such as shake, give, take, eat, etc taking ‘en’ in their past participles, ‘get’ and ‘prove’ do not. Hence, we have “get—got—got” “prove—proved—proved” as in present, past tense, and past participles respectively.
That means, when writing or speaking in British English, the correct way of using those two words is, for example:
“I have got my own biro.” ✔️
“I have proved him wrong.” ✔️
Not
“I have gotten my own biro.” ✖️
“I have proven him wrong.” ✖️
Another point to note is, while writing a heading/caption (in any form of writing whatsoever) you can either:
1. Write everything in capital letters without underlining. Note: never make the mistake of writing in capital letters and underlining at the same time. That is tautology. Or
2. Capitalize only the first letters of the functional words and underline. The functional words include all nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives.

This is why https://passbuttons.com has come to help students with best content writing practices.

Writers are taught practically how to write. In this case, the writer will be first asked to submit a story or news written by the writer. Then online editors will review it, edit it and send it back to the writer on passbuttons.com. Afterwards, passbuttons.com send the writer written notes on ways forward and how to improve the writer's writing skills.

However, passbuttons.com has reputation as a weighing point. When your reputation is up to 75R, you will be qualified to start an offline free training class.

After you are trained, you will either join passbuttons.com editors, start publishing articles for money on passbuttons.com or do anything you want with your new skill.

Writing and Get Paid | Get Paid To Write.
Writing is a versatile profession, and freelancing is a lucrative way for a professional writer to earn money from home. Professional writers are hard to find but if you’ve got great writing skills, it’s time to turn your skill into a steady source of revenue.

You should know that how much you get paid as a writer varies widely depending on the number of stories you have and the number of reads your stories earn. Some people make less than $100 a month others make a full-time living.

Before writing on the websites below, make sure you read how it works on the website, understand their guidelines and style before sending in a post.

The reason most writers fail to succeed online even with their talents is that most of them present their writing to the wrong audience, and expect to get good feedback; for instance, if you have an article on relationship and send it to websites that publish only political news, your article will not be accepted. If you have an article on education or motivation and you publish to sports lovers, you are on your own.

The beautiful thing about writing online is that you don't have to be a professional. You can write about anything ranging from real life stories to fiction and motivational stories.

Passbuttons.com is a community where everyone's effort is known and valued, and where differing needs are acknowledged, accepted and met.

It is indeed an educational website and lots of students are on it and they love reading motivational stories and educational stories especially 'How To'.

Your stories don't have to be lots of chapters.
You earn reputation per story approved, you earn money per view you get, you can set price for full stories. When other publishers needs to publish on magazines or newspapers, you will earn a lot on copyright. Congratulations to you on knowing this today. Get started on passbuttons.com.
EducationDo This While In School And You Will Be Employed On Graduation by Surebuttons(op):
Over 81% of Nigerian students don't get job on graduation. Even with good result, they still don't get a job. The funny fact is not that there is no job, but employers are afraid of employing corrupt citizens. They rather employ external people where there is need or employ their close relatives who they can train and trust they will work with them after spending heavily on them.

Now, there is too much lie on cv and employers are not relying on it again. How can they trust your so said abilities?

Social media handles are filled with junks and employers are not even ready to search through them. CV is filled with lies. We all pass through the same education system, why would you think your lies can convince a grandmaster of the same jurisdiction.

How can you stand different?
The answer is simple: Do something different from your school days.

The problem is that most of us realise too late. Just like some people are commenting below. None of us even want to learn new ways of getting out of the sh*t. Everyone wants quick money scheme. One thing for sure is that if you keep following quick money scheme in the name of taking risk, you will keep failing because there will never be a stable one.

Learn new ways to overcome joblessness. Passbuttons.com is one of the great answers as long as you want to be employed in Nigeria.

HOW?
Passbuttons helps your academic, professional, technical and career profile, it helps you to earn reputation, offers awards and helps you showcase your achievements.

Passbuttons.com is an online community where everyone's effort is valued and differing needs are acknowledged, accepted and met.
Passbuttons helps you build your reputation and in turn connect you to your destiny helpers through the same reputation.

Jobs/VacanciesI Never Knew This About Employment In Nigeria by Surebuttons(op):
It is unlikely that any investigation of your career/educational achievements or history will ever be found anywhere except the ones you captured on your CV or posted on social media handles. The crazy thing is that recruiters no longer need CV or your social media handles. They need to know what you have done some years ago for you to be considered. What do we have to do to help the issues? Recruiters are constantly working with passbuttons.com to recruit the right talents. How can you be considered by recruiters? Simply build your job profile on passbuttons.com and earn reputations to get into the train of employment without hassles.

How can you get started?
Start building your profile, earn reputation, awards and state your achievements.

It does not end there, keep earning reputations. You earn reputation when you are helped or when you help others either by asking or answering questions online, posting your stories, reviewing others story or schools, etc.

Your employers are watching your profile on daily basis to see how dedicated you are. Goodluck buddies.

EducationYou Will Not Fail Any Exam If You Know This. by Surebuttons(op):
One of the greatest achievements a student can make while in school is to pass examination. The irony is that many student fail examination not because of carelessness but lack of awareness. Students forget that in order to defeat any enemy, you need to know the enemy's plans and lines of action. To win a war, you need information of whom you are attacking. This is why https://passbuttons.com have taken the bull by the horn to ensure every student pass any examination even to the extent of publishing past questions and answers free for all.

In this article, I will be showing three major ways to pass any examination.

In order to pass any examination even when you didn't attend any class, you need to know the nature of the examination. You may say how do I know the nature of examination I have not seen or written before. Well the answer is simple. It is highly possible.

To know the nature of any examination, you need their past questions. Knowing the nature is more than just reading the past questions. It involves knowing how the questions come and the right approach to answering them.

Practicing with past questions and answers can improve your chances of doing marvelously great. However, note that depending on only past questions is not advisable. While you study past questions, you should expect the following to happen:

1. You figure out the popular topics

There are some topics that each examination body tend to prefer more than others for thoroughly testing candidates. Even though, the syllabus for instance, contains all the topics of interest, there will still be those topics that are high on the list with questions. By paying more attention to the popular topics, you will set yourself steps ahead in your preparation.

From some computer analysis of past questions on https://passbuttons.com, it has been discovered that in Mathematics, questions on geometry, trigonometry, statistics, matrices and differentiation occur more often. Also in English Language, questions on lexis and structure top the list. In Chemistry, questions on organic compounds tend to always top the list. More popular topics like these can be figured out for other subjects when you study the past questions.

2. You become familiar with the pattern:

This is similar to figuring out the popular topics. Every examination body has some patterns of setting exam questions. This is not something they publicly announce or dish out to you after registering. Although, some examination body might have a less clearer pattern now considering they now conduct Computer Based Exams. It is suspected that in CBT exam, they more likely randomly select their questions from a database of thousands of questions in a such a way that two candidates sitting next to each other are guaranteed of seeing different questions.

Nevertheless, revision works best when you practice what you will be doing in the exam. The past questions indicate some trends and patterns or repeated questions giving you some insight into the main topics and possible forms of questions. You can take some of the model exams using CBT practice platforms like https://passbuttons.com to get a quick sense of some of the trends.

3. You reduce some exam tension

Those that study past questions for any exam usually know that questions can sometimes be repeated from the same topic in a different year, with only a change in sentence, figure or option. You can come to a state of self-confidence when you attempt as many past questions as possible before sitting for any exam.

If you study past questions, you will get a sense of what to expect from any examination in various topics and this will build your self-confidence for the exam. Candidates who experience a lot of exam tension do so because they have not studied enough past questions and become comfortable with the nature of the exam.

It has been discovered that students who prepare with past questions do better than even intelligent student who read only for the exam.

CAUTION:
You don’t want to study with your past questions only, unless maybe it’s a day or two to the exam. Let your text book or study materials stay close to you as you attempt questions. This will still help you learn more deeply as you fill in your knowledge gaps. You can also use online resources to quickly read up some concepts when you feel stuck.

If this is helpful, please share with friends.

Jobs/VacanciesWhat To Do At School To Get Employed On Graduation. by Surebuttons(op):
Hoping to boost your employability while still at school? There are so many things you can be doing right now to improve your employability. Try these tips and you might just land that dream job!

With so many students and graduates on the job hunt at this very moment (yep, even as you read this), you need to do whatever you can to wow future employers.

Thinking ahead and laying the groundwork for your career while you're still studying is a pretty solid way to go about it.

There are a lot of fairly straightforward things you can do while at school that will catch employers' eyes later in the game – and, luckily for you, we've put all of the main ones together so you can get cracking.

1. Join school societies and events
This offers you the opportunity to network with people of higher authority and helps you to display your skills

2. Build reputations.
Reputations is one of the best selling points in job hunting. Making it snappy will not only help you in jobs market but your entire life. As a student how have you helped the society? This question comes often in interviews. You can build your reputations by simply helping your fellow students with anything you are capable of in an accountable manner. The only platform that helps you do this and keep records is https://passbuttons.com there you can answer questions or post questions and build your reputations. By implication, reputations measures your ability to solve problems. Most hiring companies in Nigeria use this medium to check how useful a potential employee can be in a company. Whether the employee is good or not. It also helps to determine how much ready you are to change the world with the little you have while studying. You can start your journey today a https://passbuttons.com/signup.php

3. Get a part-time job that fits around your degree
Okay, so we recognise the irony in suggesting you improve your chances of getting a job by getting a job? But part-time jobs give you a great experience in the working world, and they'll look impressive to future employers as you're showing that you know how to balance work and study simultaneously.

4. Use the careers advice service at school
You may not be intending to enter the world of work for another few years, but that's not to say you can't start prepping now for what you need to do to snag the best job.

Every school has a careers service, and they'll be more than happy to chat with you for half an hour about how to achieve your long-term goals. Make use of the service while you still can! If you don't have in your school, you can join https://passbuttons.com to get started. The good thing here is that you can ask any type of questions and your privacy is assured.

5. Research your chosen career
Quite simply – if you know where you want to be, then find out what's expected of you in order to get there and start working towards your goal.

6. Work hard on your studies
Last but not least, it's easy to get totally sidetracked by all of your amazing extracurricular activities, but try not to lose sight of why you're there in the first place. There's no point putting in all this work to improve your CV, only to flunk uni!

Employers will look for a good standard of degree as a benchmark for recruiting candidates, so make sure you put as much time into your studies as you can and do your best.

Jobs/VacanciesYou Will Be Employed If You Know This. by Surebuttons(op):
Whether you're a fresh graduate or someone who's been in the job market for years – job hunting is tough. Have you tried rethinking your approach?

There's no denying it – searching for a job really is a full-time job in itself and, alas, it doesn't get much easier as you get older.

Feeling a bit like you're going round in circles and getting nowhere with it? Sometimes, it can be helpful to take a step back and really think about your approach before bashing out the job applications.

Taking a different angle can give you a fresh boost of confidence if you're feeling in a rut, and hopefully land you that opportunity you've been searching for.

Our main word of advice to job searchers is this: don't just think in terms of ticking the boxes and meeting the criteria that an employer is looking for.

Applying for jobs is about really selling yourself to a potential employer – why should they pick you over other applicants? Here is how you can stand out from the crowd.

This is often overlooked by students who search for jobs by dropping impersonal CVs and cover letters into high street retail stores and bars.

How you handle the application process is a reflection of the kind of employee you are: come across like you're not putting the effort in at this stage of the game, and it won't impress anyone.

Also, try not to let failed applications knock your confidence too much. Remember the theory of 'survival of the fittest' in secondary school? Well, this applies to the job market too.

Those who are willing to mutate (in approach) and take each rejection letter like water off a duck's back are likely to succeed. Keep reminding yourself of this!

To get you started on your whole new, smarter approach to job hunting, here are ten tips that you may never have thought of when attempting.

1. Try online networking

Get plugged into career networking sites like LinkedIn. You might think this is a step ahead of yourself if you're still studying, but it actually looks great to employers if you're already keen to know what's going on in the job market before you've even graduated.

Join discussion groups for industries you're interested in and start building your social network to keep in the loop for the latest job offers.

Following companies that you like and commenting on their posts is also a great way to get noticed, although remember to keep your comments professional, and save the rants for Facebook.

Note that it's also bad etiquette to add anyone on LinkedIn who you don't already know, so going on a mad connection-adding spree won't work in your favour.
