@Gobi38 I will also suggest you to inform the house about your documentation so that the experienced expert here can do some correction if there is need for that |
[quote author=Gobi38]@siga – My sister went to the Embassy today, filled out the form at the gate, guys at the gate took the form inside. 10 min later an Embassy official called her (was a Nigerian Lady) – she said her case is closed and nothing can be done unless she reapplies. My sister pleaded with her to forward her case to any of the Visa Officer – the lady declined. My assumption is that probably the lady failed to include her Tuition receipts in her package and further investigation will point to her mistake. So sad - I told my sister to reapply This is really sad,but God knows the best for her.If there is summer entry, she can reapply immediately with the already existing documents,am very sure they will consider as soon as possible,i can see this issue as a mistake on the officer in question, but never mind z for good.I wish her success in her further application |
khunlehzy:Is your school tuition free? |
Gobi38: @ mercylicious - Kelly4top just answered your questionfrom our previous experience in this particular thread,do you know that after medical test the result will be sent to Paris France for analysis before the result will be send back to lagos and from our observation, this usually take 3 to 4 weeks,so dont think that mercylicious is beating the bush but sincerely i can not say a particular reason for her denial but see it as a mistake by the office in question but never doubt what the people here are telling you.You are in Yankee,na ppl way dey here go tell you how it works in Naija, many people here are talking based on past experience |
lets this issue be at rest for now until my sister comes out from CDHC tomorrow then any other thing can be addressed properly |
Siga: ...they must be talking about visiting visa....all others can never be 10days bro....unless they want to waive Naija from Medicals, docs verification and Police reports which I 100% doubt with the current rep Naija get....so, it must be visiting....and they havent yet posted it on dem site sef....thats another thingy.....it might just be a proposal for now....I think is a proposal for visiting visa, trust our press, they know how to manipulate issues to make sales |
@Gobi38,i will also suggest that if they failed to let you In 2moro,you can equally write to them immediately |
TRV_IJN: My eyes have beheld my TRV, my hands have touched and felt it. My God is good.lets some body shout halleluiah |
my friend what of the criteria for permanent residence permit,i am not even interested in naturalization |
@Markenny,please take it easy,we all here are learning on daily basis,i know that my friend who have been helping me the information he heard may have made mistake some where but i prefer you to just pinpoint the place, correct it and give your own advice and suggestion so that we can continue to be moving on.I don't like us to be arguing for what does not mean any thing.I hope you will understand, thank you |
dotcom_na_me_na_me: Ok, now i understand you. I guess you're in UK? Why don't you try US student for your wife? US do gives student visa better than Canada and others... The chance of getting US student is far better i think so... or what do you think? Since you said if Ireland is like UK u would prefer her to stay in 9ja, and we all know that Ireland & UK shares same system...Thank you,you know what i mean by UK practices is that because it is very hard to get job there presently |
dotcom_na_me_na_me: Tot u said u're not in 9ja? I don't understand you really? Not in Nigeria does not mean that i know every thing,am just trying to relocate to another country but i dont intend moving now because am still busy with my work. If you look at my page you will notice that i am still pursuing canada also but i am just looking for plan B,she was denied canada visa earlier this year and we are yet to give up but still need ur information as well.I demanded you to add me so that we can talk better but u said that here is better and there is no way i be will talking about my whole plans and personality on the forum like this.Note that my wife is still in Nigeria presently |
Bros u did not clear one doubt for my last question.Again if my wife get in there now as a student, what will be the best way for me to join her may be in 6 to 7 months time |
dotcom_na_me_na_me,thank you for all the effort you have made for me,i so much appreciated it and every of ur explanation was well understood. Now i choose to go with the one that the tuition fee is approximately 9560 euro, and is a one year master program and again the visa chances of those courses may be low.According to their site that you gave me,non degree program is not entitled for Post Graduate work permit. Now from all the indication, since the tuition is for one which is approx 9560+7000+accommodation,may be i can add extra 3k euro,i hope she is good to go.But again,i have lived in London and i can tell you if Ireland is equivalent to UK practices,is better she remain in Nigeria.I am also a traveler and you can see that i am not writing from Nigeria.Thank you once more |
Wow,good job, thank you so much,at least the matter of tuition now is over, lets come to visa and part time jobs and Post graduation work permit. 1.Can embassy allow part payment of the tuition fee, because i saw in their website that student will provide evidence of full payment. 2.After payment of full tuition fee,how much do you think that suppose to be in my account for visa application. 3.can one get a part time job and how easy to get such since i heard that most EU guys flooded the area. 4.how many years do they grant for Post graduate work permit. 5.must we pay for accommodation before visa application. Thank you once more. |

dotcom_na_me_na_me: Is it still for Germany or Ireland? If it's for Ireland student MASTERS programe, let me know, i'll furnish you details about it....aasa i mean Ireland student masters |
Thanks for the wonderful information, you have said it all.I am scared about their high tuition and i dont want to risky not obtaining visa for her.I am not going with her now because i am very much busy but may be joining her a later year.I saw a course of master of HRM about 12800 euro, how do they collect tuition fee,is it pay semester or i will pay all at the same time, then after payment, what do u think that will be in sponsors account for visa application.Thank u |
dotcom_na_me_na_me: Try it now, but with that intention if it is, u need to re-think O! As per non EU student with non EE student having baby there... nothing for them O! try Canada and US... not in Europe anymore, except Canad and US and some South America.... Ireland is the last EU country that offer that last and that was before 1st January 2005....yes i have tried Canada it didn't work so that is y i choose to go with Germany since 8k euro blocked account will guarantee us visa, then i wish to join my wife later not now,and i will like to go as a student. What of a situation that she apply visa from Germany after arrival for study,is it possible. And again,if both of are student,at least after graduation,we will stay to get job nah or will they tell us to go because we have child |
dotcom_na_me_na_me: Awusubilahi.. God forbid... Ireland Tuition Free, i go jump from 10 story building if Ireland offer tuition free. Infact, u must pay your tuition in full, at least full first year. Irish immigration system is hell. Their visa even hard pass Canada now O !This is why i see germany as an alternative |
thank you 'dotcom_na_me_na_me'Is Ireland tuition free also? |
@dotcom_na_me_na_me,what of a situation that a student give birth in Germany for non EU students, what will be the status of the child and the parents and any other benefit |
@jejet,thank you so much, which means is really tight for married couple to study in Germany.I am applying for my wife to go then i will join her later on study permit 2,so that is why i just want to get full information to know the best for us but is quite unfortunate to get different opinion from people but from my research so far,you are really in line, the only benefit we may get is if she delivers in Germany is just tax reduction. |
Thank you all for participating in my question,is there any benefit for a student to give birth in Germany, may be if they two are on study permit. |
If a married student give birth in Germany, what will be the status of that child in Germany, can the child be a citizen? |
Thank you simplyD fot this nice information |

All correct @jejet,kudos to you because it seems you are the highest contributor to this thread. One thing i will like for those who are already in Germany is that they should leave this issue of all the questions here has been answered, must Germany thread be a different one from USA,Canada and so on or do you want this thread to close down because of every thing has been treated before. There are a lot of unanswered questions in this thread which i am part of the people who asked the questions. We need to make the thread educative and interesting. It is not only to study in Germany, work part time, learn the language. There are other ideas for you guys over there should be relaying to us,telling us about the prospectus, benefits,in fact good and bad of the country. You made mention about what the people in the European community complained about Germany,at least we need to know it 2,that is the essence of this forum.Let it be an informative network to any thing regarding to study and stay in Germany.I believed that if all this are been taught here, people will be happy and commend you guys like as it in the other threads.Every body is aware of the fact that it is very tight situation to study abroad but that will not prevent some body from visiting here and answer some questions at least once in a while. What of those who have already graduated and integrated into the country,we also need there own experience and advice here. |
Adim O.:I dont talk what i dont know,i have two students friends already in Germany, they did the same as Adim O.It is not bad if you send your original transcript if you have the money |
