40 people mining without licenses in the Ghanaian town of Tiagbani are reported to have been trapped in the pit they were mining in.

According to a local Ghanaian radio station seven [7] of the unlicensed local miners were pulled out of the pit but died shortly afterwards. Another 33 are believed to be still trapped underground.
The bodies of the those pulled out of the pit have been deposited at the district hospital for autopsy.

“They went to operate at their site but unfortunately the pit caved in on them. Rescuers are doing their best to dig out the dead bodies but at the moment the whole township is mourning,” the reporter for the radio station said.

Tiagbani is in the Talensi-Nabdam district of the Upper East Region, far from the traditionally-known gold mining sites in Ghana.

Each university has different regulations on the admission, so if you cannot find anyone who can be your personal reference, you might find other institutes which take a bank statement instead of it.

Go to south Korea embassy and request for document apostille legalization..they will direct you.its nt costly

i just called Korea embassy in Lagos some few minute ago and i was told they don't do such thing...where x can i get it done?.....all i need is apostille stamp

Thanks for the prompt response to my mail....i can provide all others document except the number 7....am applying as an international student i don't know anybody in Korea who can stand as my guarantor or provide reference letter....but i can provide the school my personal bank statement of account to show the school am capable of taking care of myself.

let me know if the school will accept my personal bank statement in said of reference letter.

The reason we requires the local Korean sponsor is, We have to take all of risks and responsibilities of your statues after we help you to get your D4 visa.
And I am sorry, You should submit both the bank statement and a notarized sponsorship letter. Also, the sponsor must be a person who owns the citizenship of Korea.

Unfortunately, your apply was late for joining 2014 Winter semester.
You need to submit the apostille legalization on your certificate by Korean embassy and Certificate of Bank Balance more than $3,000 in English (it should be student’s name).
Some country need the apostille legalization fallow by Korean immigration rules.
We are sorry about this situation.

i think the best way to enter Korea now is through conference visa. most school don't give admission to Nigerians student now because of ebola issues and secondly getting a sponsorship letter is not an easy thing cos the sponsor must be a Korean.

If you have some visa, please prepare these documents.

1. Scanned Passport
2. Diploma in English (transcript from university or college is possible)

4. Academic transcript & Certificate of Enrollment that shows your attendance(If you have ever studied in other university language education center)
5. Certificate of Bank Balance more than $3,000 in English (it should be student’s name)

Okay...i was in my old school today to get the testimonial........i discourse the transcript with the secretary...she just dey look me ...there is no such thing like school transcript in govt secondary school i don't know about private school.......all you will get is testimonial and waec certificate after 3 years of graduation

Theroyalprince are we to legalize our secondary transcript too because the consular woman requested for secondary school transcript either... which I heard it consist of results from ss1 to ss3(1st term to third term) which makes total of 9 result at ministry of foreign affairs and education too? That's like 27k at 3k per 1 doc? With waec?

is there anything like secondary school transcript well doing my days there is nothing like that...all you will get is testimonial and your waec certificate.....i hope the testimonial can be use in place of secondary school transcript.

Am not in lag am in ilorin, kwara state.....you just need to legalize you weac only but you need secondary school transcript for portugal embassy...have the school send you your admission letter? What resumption date written on it? I emailed the school to re send me another letter for spring intake...the portuguese embassy woman adviced me to start my process by November.
