Hello,
Sorry for late reply.
Unfortunately, your apply was late for joining 2014 Winter semester.
You need to submit the apostille legalization on your certificate by Korean embassy and Certificate of Bank Balance more than $3,000 in English (it should be student’s name).
Some country need the apostille legalization fallow by Korean immigration rules.
We are sorry about this situation.
Please consider to join at Sogang 2015 Spring semester.

Hello,
The reason we requires the local Korean sponsor is, We have to take all of risks and responsibilities of your statues after we help you to get your D4 visa.
And I am sorry, You should submit both the bank statement and a notarized sponsorship letter. Also, the sponsor must be a person who owns the citizenship of Korea.
Thanks for your interest about our Korean Program.

Why they are requesting for this sponsors is because they are the ones to sponsor your student visa..and you may come here and run away from the school,
Even in my school ...a student disappeared and the korea government will hold the school responsible..
so na black guys dey cause all this

Okay
Am getting frustrated with this sponsorship/reference letter of a thing.

Mail from another school

Dear................
I am sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
Unfortunately, the personal reference letters are essential and there is no substitute for it.
Each university has different regulations on the admission, so if you cannot find anyone who can be your personal reference, you might find other institutes which take a bank statement instead of it.
I am sorry for not being your help.
Sincerely,
