SmartPolician: It's a shame that Femi Gbaja doesn't know that why most international students study abroad is that they wish to explore the possibility of getting jobs and living in that foreign country. What opportunities does Nigeria have that will attract other Africans in their numbers to Nigeria? you can see the quality of thinking of the leaders we have and you are wondering why we are where we are |
Politics › Re: 2027: "If Peter Obi Ever Hopes To Be President, He Must Deputise Atiku In 2027" by surgical: 7:33pm On May 20, 2025 |
kmst: Most realistic way I'm no fan of Atiku by the way But looking at Nigerian politics and how 2023 went, obi needs northern votes cos his Southern greedy politicians will all endorse tinubu for their pockets and safety. Only Atiku can bring the northern votes to the table so it's More of a symbiotic relationship right now. They both need each other, no other way. He will be wise to deputize but with written public agreement with Atiku camp. This can also ensure Nigeria's growth if they do well first term, one of them likely Obi continues afterwards, that will be steady growth for Nigeria.
The reverse will be the case of Nigeria if tinubu is allowed to continue. 10+ yrs wasted on APC! This are all lies why the Atiku no bring the nothern votes since he has been contesting, he could not even convince his brethren buhari to support him in 2023,what magic is now going to perform in 2027,or is it in 2027 the nothern voters will now realise he is one of them You guys should stop gaslighting obi please |

They think it's like before,it is in the interest of the politicians for Tinubu to continue because of what they are benefiting, it is also the interest of the people for Tinubu not to continue, to end in first term because of the hunger, deprivation and insecurity We shall see if the politicians votes will be enough to secure him a second term |

For him to be ruling Nigeria at this time means majority of Nigerians are evil and one of them is elevated to lead If Nigerians are not evil, there is no way they will tolerate a tinubu presidency |

Sharpsharp00123: Provided we still have the 3 options of tinubu, Atiku, obi.
I will always pick tinubu.
Before u come here to attack me, check their records and legacies, if not for sentiment and tribal politics how can someone tell me that obi did better than tinubu as governor?
Obi funds were never delayed by federal government still he couldn't pay doctors n lecturers whereas we all know what happened between obj n tinubu still tinubu created local government council n employed more with no delay in salary payment.
Let's talk about infrastructure, let's talk about only lekki free trade zone n how much it fetches Lagos, tell me d equivalent obi did in anambara.
Like seriously let's leave tribal politics n sentiment aside obi no near tinubu, I know d Igbos anger that it should b their turn which is still understandable but that doesn't mean u should compare obi to Tinubu.
It's still ok if u tell me it's Igbo turn, I will understand but telling me obi is better than Tinubu can never work All this nonsense were what you guys used to propelled Mr incompetent into federal power, but so far it is evident that you can't give what you don't have, Tinubu as president has shown he is a mistake so we are judging him by his present not some distant achievements that are not true We are not auditioning for lagos state governor, but president of Nigeria so based on Tinubu performance so far,he does not deserve a second term and will not get it,we are just tolerating him for the remainder of his tenure |

SmartEnergyng: You’re not reading. The article’s thrust is vision — and the audacity of visionaries. Tinubu removed fuel subsidy and floated the naira — that’s not routine governance, that’s reform. And reform isn’t road patching or ribbon-cutting. It’s surgery — deep, painful, and often bloody. You don’t compare a man rebuilding broken bones to one brushing hair. One governs. The other transforms. You are either an optimist who is wrong or some ignorant hero worshiper ,what you called reforms is actually deform, it has never worked anywhere before, and it's not working now ,neither tomorrow If its a sound idea like you said ,Tinubu would not have been using hand to manually turn the floatation, he would have allowed the market forces to continue to do its job uninterrupted Anyway you guys are like robot no life of your own,if tommorrow now,Tinubu abandons this reforms you are praising to high heavens now,you will still come and defend his new direction and tell us why its the best, shio |
