Okay people,I trust y'all having a great weekend.
So this just came up and I feel like taking some time off the usual stuff and share.
As kids back then growing up,some of us had strict parents especially strict daddies...dads who do not hesitate to raise the cane at the slightest mistake or misbehaviour. Kids had some nasty difficulties like putting on your slippers the right way, telling the time...
Okay let's get to it now,there was this particular evening,I was helping my dad at home with something I can't remember now and all of a sudden,he showed my his wristwatch and asked me to tell him the time! Ah! Mogbe,I thought within me!
Ok I looked at his analogue wristwatch and saw the "short hand" pointed almost at 4 and the "long hand" was straight pointed at 10. Well not actually knowing and since the long hand was pointing at 10, I simply said "10 minutes to 4" and lo and behold,he smiled and said "correct!.
