Use UBA
GTB too expensive.
Diamond is fair
At times gtb will charge N420 and N75 on some atm while they charge as high as N2000 from other atms

starvega: Hi poeple... I am a Nigerian, currently unemployed, but will liKe to visit the US for a few days. I have an uncle who has sent me an invitation and his passport copy. I just finished school and waiting for the National Youth service corps (NYSC) in which my batch does not get enrolled untill November 2015.. I need to Know my chances of getting a visa, I am 28. I really want to Keep it straight and honest as I feel I can answer or explain any questions asKed. I have filled the DS-160 form and stated in it that I am unemployed, in the box where it's is asKed to explain, I stated the same reason that I had just graduated from University and awaiting NYSC.
I am just curious to Know what my chances are, it's not a do or die affair for me tho.
I'll be glad to read your ideas concerning this.. thanx Who is sponsoring your tripe? Your uncle right? Why will you think of going to spend few days in the US right now? Why not concentrate on your career first and get a better job ? Your case is a fatal NO But like the poster ahead wrote, there can be a miracle. Truluvguy: you have to fly with only kenyan airways to be given a visa into kenya. ticket for round trip is N160,000 and you will hold about $1000 to prove you can take care of yourself. though you might not spend it. Wrong information. You can fly with any airline. I've flown into JKIA more than twice and got visa on arrival. None of which I flew with KA. So you just get yourself at the airport and be ready to defend yourself - its quite easy though. Speaking of the BTA, life's risky and you're not supposed to be carrying money up and down. Just change $200 cash and keep the rest in your card. Anyone that doubts you should provide atm so you can confirm your balance ~ Sheyi |

Just a quick one y'all.
There was a mis-spelling on ds160 in the name field.
eg: Jennifer spelt as Jenniffer. Is there a big deal in this?
I tried to re-schedule the appointment, it says another fee must be paid before another appointment can be schedule.
Meanwhile, the date was the first one booked, there has never been a reschedule of date.

ElijahFobs: It is a known fact about how issues relating to passport are being handled by the immigration officers and this has shown that things are not working in Nigeria the way it should have worked...Though many people might have talked or complained about this before but I think the more the issues are brought up, the more chances for better development.
I was to renew my passport so I went to the Immigration office at ikoyi to have it renewed...I paid 25k for renewal with the hope of gettin it dat same day cos I came their first. But to my utmost disgust, they neva attend to me not until noon..after spending hrs to get my previous passport confirmed...I was told they can't do anyfin again dat day as their generating set is not working and all work done for dat day lost cos dey dnt have ups to back up their systems.
My concern is that how can a government parastatal could not afford to have a good generating set nor ups to back their systems when power is out...This is very very bad cos they make huge amount of money on daily basis
Pls I want to know...is it the government that is not funding them as at wen due or are they diverting the money for personal use?
Thank yoi Your agent messed you up big time. alienvirus: Have you been to their toilet before? Its not like before. The place is clean now. I mean very clean! ~ Sheyi |
