this is their visa requirements
as a tourist u will need the following
a visa invitation letter from someone in the philliphines that is notarized
valid passport
bith certificate
police report
ur bank statement with sufficient fund and it must be authenticated by the embassy or the ministry of foreign affairs in nija here

all your documents must be process through.. the department of foreign affairs in manillaphilliphines
the documents usually comes with red riborn boneded togethr

that if you have someone over there
if you dont have anyone..
hotel
and the authentication thru the ministry of foreign affairs here in nija will be ok
also your bank statement must also be authenticated
visa application form.. fill at the embassy
the visa fee cost 12k.. normally it 9600 to be on thesafer side

They no longer use the lag office.

Go to abuja for your visa and make sure you
avoid those tout.

Normally, they (embassy's workers) will feel somehow
attending to you, but make sure you get what you want
as its their duty to attend to you.

One thing about germany is this, if you miss any document
they won't reject your application. They'll rather ask you

Infact, you only need few document and be as detailed
as possible. I once had a client who forgot her office
intro letter and still got her visa.... don't panic

May I thank u for d last advice u gave, i've been able to replace the DS 160 code wit a new one with the date unaffected. But NOW I wanna ask one more question which i hope u sure'l be able to tell exactly. The questn is= After updating my profile wit the new code, i wish and tried to see if i could reschedule my interview date by bringing it earlier than it is. I clicked on 'reschedule appointment' hoping it'l bring up d appointment calender and choose a new date earlier dan date i currently have .but the system notified I nid to cancel d current appointment before i can reschedule. But wat i feared was if i cancel at that stage, i might nt get a date until anoda 3months and mite av to start counting months again as my current interview date was booked since May. Imagine! Now i av my appointment for early october, and i wish if its possible to get anoda date for say early or mid september if i cancel and reschedule without giving me a far date dan wat i already have. jejet: Just came across this post. Germany student visa is not complicated, just as simple as ABC as I got my study visa in June this year. So only those who have gone through the process should contribute and not complicate issue for potential applicant.
I applied to 4 universities via Uni Assist and I have so far recieved admission offer from 3 of them. Immediately I revieved the first admission letter from one of the universities I began my visa processing to save my time even though I don't intend to attend that university. I got the admission offer from the one I intend to attend yesterday though both are in the same federal state so I wont have complication with my paper works; cos the visa carries the name of the school with which I used to apply. I contacted the embassy via telephone immediately about this and the man at the visa section assured me that I wont have problem with the foreigners office in Germany.
Immediately I got the letter of offer from the university, i went to the German consulate in Lagos to open the student block account. The lady at the reception gave me the deutsche bank form and i submitted it with a photocopy of my admission letter and the biodata page of my international passport. I got my account details from the deutsche bank after 3 weeks. I transferred the required amount to the account and I got a confirmation of payment from the bank after 5 days. I sent the payment confirmation, passport biodata page, and photocopy of admission letter along with the request for appointment form to the consulate general via dhl. I got a response 3 days later for my appointment in 3 weeks.
On the appointment day, it was a lovely experience. Got to the consulate at 6:25am and those with student visa and family reunion were ushered in first. We went straight to the visa section and were called in one after the other. There are 4 rooms in the visa section and i was called to room 2 where a young Nigeria guy collected my document and entered my details to his computer and asked me to go sit down at the reception. After 25 minutes at the reception, a german guy came and invited me first to his office cause we are only 2 applying for student visa. The man ushered me to his office inside the consulate where he made me feel comfortable, he switched on his computer and the interview began. He read every question from the computer and he entered all my answers into the system. After the interview he stamped a page on my passport; the stamp contained the date of appointment and the visa type. He told me my application has been forwarded to the foreigners office for approval and he usherd me back the reception and l left to my home.
22 days after the interview, I got an email from the consulate to come to the consulate with a 90 days travel insurrance. I printed the email, did travel insurrance for 23k from AIICO and went to the embassy. I submitted my passport along with the travel insurance at the visa section and the lady wrote "collection at 2pm on my slip. She gave it to me and asked me to come for collection at 2pm. About 70 of us came for the collection and we were called one after the other. I got mine and the lady said your visa is approved and you will submit your passport to the foreigners office in germany after you enroll in your university to extend your visa from 90 days to 2 years. Thats my story. i wish other applicant good luck

I doubt if we need any other detailed explanation again except for
those applying for visit visa. This short but lovely post answers it

A family friend wants to help me come over to Germany and has assured me that I will be able to get a job over there with my qualifications(I have an MBA, here in Nigeria and am working). But he said that I have to first learn the German language to ease off the stress of communication with prospective employers.

Guys please I will like to know where I can get a good German Language school or instructor and the likely amount their fees maybe. If possible one in the eastern part of Nigeria.

You have to ask offline in the east.

You filled another ds160 form? Make sure its the number you also have on your appointment letter. Just edit it in your profile.
