DAT was wat my baby did last nite oooooo. and she almost sucked my brain out last nite . even today she try Small. I dey fear sleep for her side now sef. will try and prepare d okro tomorrow and d apple puree too.

My baby always bite me most time when she sucks. just the tiny tooth dat just started coming out small. What can't I do its really painful. When she does dat I beat her on her bom bom but she laughs and Stil continue it in fact more hard dis time. .

kai! today has been 1 helluva day....

my dd fell off the bed where i dropped her to mix palm oil +sugar for her cough. she cried for like 2 mins and stopped, but i have never seen her cry that way b4. everything just happened in a flash... i started crying with her.
Dh heard her crying and rushed in to the room, i couldn't even lie about what happened. Since then he has been giving me 'that look' (now i wish i lied to him about what happened). My LO is fine , she is playing with her papa and cruising away in her walker now, but I just throw some glances her way from time to time.
gosh! how did i get carried away

I am stressed.....taking care of my dd and managing my home all by myself isn't an easy task. Some nights I just breakdown and cry (I don't think I am depressed, sometimes it's just hard to deal). I am even beginning to analyse 2nd missionary journey and telling myself that adding 1 more baby to the mix will just 'kee' me finally.

my weight gives me concern too, my belle no just gree go inside.....i don tire to dey wear girdles and all what not.. I googled how to check for diastatis recti and checked my abdomen, and I felt a space.
hmmmm..........na me kuku go find 'googoo' trouble

what else sef?!! I need an extra income source.....salary nor de reach anything again o!

My dear I understand u. When my dd fall from bed as well my hubby didn't speak to me for days. He was so angry at me. It was so sudden. Just few seconds of going out to pick ear pic. She has never rolled from bed be4 dat was d 1st time. Hubby saw her rolling and told me and I quote ' let dat baby not fall from dat bed' he never even talk am finish and she fell. But thank God they are fine.
I also feel same abt d stress even when have resigned for my baby from my place of work. Mine even worst sef cos hubby can't even help me stay wit baby or even feed her. He believe is a woman work. Even to carry her when we are going out na war. I carry my baby most time. But if anything happen he will complain abt it. But have stop complaining and crying about everything. I just let things go. He is so lovely on his own way. But don't understand d child is for both parents to care for.

Try steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil aka silverbird. Or put few drops of silverbird on her bib or in her cot so she can inhale it
keep her warm too
Vitamin c will also help her
Saline drops will decongest her nose

Read about your struggle with feeding her solids
Try giving your dh to feed her
Today my ds finished a whole bowl of cereal and cried for more! Guess who feed him? My dh.

@ Suzy: be patient, it is not easy to be a mom of a picky eater. I have 2 picky eaters, but i'll suggest you keep trying till you get what your LO enjoys. First deworm him/her, then try Farley's Heinz premium rice cereal. Start with little quantities and see, a lot of picky eaters like it. its about 1200- 1900, depends on where you live.

RANTING TIME
My baby dosnt allow me sleep well...both night and day...I put her on my body..or carry her on my arms... pacing around just for her to sleep...once I lay her on d bed...d nxt 1 to 5mins shes awake screaming... Even noticed she wants to start been clingy to me...,
Then that bloody colic makes her wriggle in pain with no help...menh its not easy at all...having headache from lack of sleep...

I told u soon u can't sleep. sori abt it but der s noffin much u can do. just make sure she sucks well. then sleep as soon as she does cos dats d only time u can.we will be 4months on Wednesday. I can Stil tell u dat have not slept wen I want to. but I heard she adjust sooner

My bumbum is story for another day, it's so painful I can't even sit, I did the whole pounded yam thing yesterday as an Igbo girl with Igbo inlaws but I agree with you, I'd start soft food for soft poo or I'm screwed.

my dear do wat mama zaynie said. it really helped me. to poo is always painful at dis point. d bum bum is scared dat was wat I was told . but d earlier u start pooping d better for d bum bum. pls wat does omogwu food small small I no how delicious it can be and tempting too. but don't take much so.u can be able to poo. eat more of fruits to help u poo. fast healing to u
