gadgetplanetng: The Chinese Inverters give better support than this Homaya from my experience.
My Schneider Homaya inverter that I didn't enjoy for up to 3 months is still with them almost one year now
First they were giving stories,
Now they aren't replying to emails or support tickets.
When I have time I would take it up. and i almost buy this homaya last year o |

ksmart027: I enjoyed his mango back them in adamawa, though expensive but worth it. he is popularly known as "baba mai mangoro"... As at 1993 he had 50,000 mango trees...and as far back as then he was exporting to europe...it was his farm I used as a case study to compare biomass energy to solar to know which is most feasible in Nigeria .. He tried to extract gas from his cattles' feaces to run a gas power plant, but the technology did not last. He then switched to full time solar. |

From punch newspapers..... At least AYM SHAFA petrol filling stations almost always have electricity.... NIGUS is the same company responsible for the 5 abi 7 mega watt solar setup in sebore dairy farms in adamawa... The farm was started by murtala nyako the former governor or adamawa state... But his son aminu is running things, if you have drank "admiral" yoghurt, know that you drank yoghurt that the manufacturing process from milk collection to bottle packaging was all solar powered... If am not mistaken thier battery is like 7Mwh.

Before the end of May, these 2 cars go don dey new owners house... that xiaomi, e de get some bad PR at the moment, people are posting videos of the car misbehaving. For now it seems BYD, Xpeng, NIO and the rest are kinging. Xiaomi already have millions of customers to market the car to, whenever they get the engineering well it will still be a sell out.... I have two xiaomi phones, xiaomi smart watch... Two Xiaomi smart TV boxes... Am rooting for them too. |

5bn won't scratch the surface trust me. Flier: STop this nonsense! It might take up to 5 Billion naira to power UNIBEN with solar Solar isn’t affordable. I spent 430,000 on diesel everyday after they told me solar that can power my factory will cost 350 million Imagine just 200kva kva factory Mind you the life circle of solar battery is 2 years Infact the solar I use at home 4 battery’s with 8 panels If you don’t see nepa light to charge it Atleast twice a week it won’t last long again. |
Education › Re: Tariff Hike: UNIBEN's Monthly Electrici Bill Rises, Resorts To Load Shedding by swagifted(m): 7:31am On May 20, 2024 |
blackmantis: With N500m Uniben can go completely off grid with Solar it will not do it. From that bill and my calculations, they need 1.6mega watts on average non stop for 24 hours.... On a rainy day you will need 40 mega watt of battery.... To charge 40 megawatt of battery in one day you will need at least 10mega watt of solar panels... At 0.12$ per watts per panel you will need $1.2M for panels alone thats minus shipping and customs.... And lets say you want to have enough storage for two days thats 80mega watt of battery... Chairman i am afraid even 25million dollars worth of solar investment cannot comfortably take the whole institute offgrid ... It will be cheaper for the students to bear the cost of the new electric bill... |

Rybnyk: Evs that are totally powered by solar energy are not just realistic. As a secondary power source to top up already existing stored energy? Maybe. The amount of energy generated from solar energy is not adequate to power a car. People who can afford 24hrs electricity are enjoying evs? In Nigeria? what's the demographic and who are these people? Pray tell... like i said, the demographic is not for people with budget of 10million and below.... |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by swagifted(m): 1:42am On May 19, 2024 |
mctfopt: We all know we need more batteries and panels, but power saving suppose save you small. 900w+ is no saving. if you want power saving that much na to opt for fan, once you enter AC territory just budget for high numbers |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by swagifted(m): 5:29pm On May 18, 2024 |
no matter how much power saving a manufacturer claims..if you wan enjoy AC, just beef up everything, solar o, inverter o, battery o. Xanderone: Is LG dual inverter different from LG smart inverter? I got the latter and it seems that the consumption only drops to around 850w after working for about 5 hours after the room temp has reached like 25 degrees. The setpoint on the remote is the lowest (16 degrees). The ramp up consumption when it starts is around 1015w
I also read in the manual that some model has "energy saving" mode, but it seems I can't find that option in this model of mine.
I hope I havent gotten the wrong model for use on solar set up. |

Rybnyk: Outside which grid? Lol. We are only able to generate 5000mw presently. We can't even power households for 24hrs. Where is the power for electric cars? When you never give band C, D power finish... electric cars goes hand in hand with solar, especially if the owner of the electric car have solar installed both at home and where they work.... If all the electric cars in America plug in at the same time and everyone attempts "fast charging" the American electrical grid will fail too. People who can afford 24/7 electricity in Nigeria are already enjoying it... They are the demographic for electric cars... Not for people that want to buy 2003 corolla. |
