There's iv medication that can be given to you if you dont use epidural, it helps with the pain. In my case, it even made me sleepy. Dr was shouting push, i was dozing off until my mum slapped me back to reality, finally the dr had to use a vacuum to get baby out because i could not control the dizziness.
Same thing happened to me.but for me I was only dozing in between contractions
Once the contraction hits I go start prayer but once it wears off am asleep again.lol.really funny

Please can anybody advise on good gyn/ob and hospital fees in Portland, name of cheap gyn and details of hospital pls?
I had my 2nd in port land oregon in 2013. doctor was 1900 though I also had to pay 250 for 1st appointment and 75 for subsequent appointments.
However the hospital was very expensive. I paid abt 7800 for a vaginal birth.i got to know my bill after I had given birth( wrong move) and it was over 13000(for uncomplicated VD o) but I ended up paying 7800 after discounts.
Hospital is providence st vincent and Dr Decastro
Of course I didn't go back this time

Congratulations swappylove. May God bless and keep her. Pls I just sent u a pm. Really need your assistance as regards the hospital u used in Dallas. I have been having difficulty in my search. Kindly reply when u can. Take care of u and princess
Hi dear, saw ur pm.might as well answer here.
Not sure u may want to use my hospital though cos it was quite pricey compared to lots of other dallas deals.
I used methodist Charlton and hospital cost was 4500 for vaginal delivery, I probably will pay more though cos I was under observations in hospital b4 I gave birth.only God knows how much they will charge. Am still in hospital.peadatrician was 600
CS in the hospital is 7000.
My doc was 2700 and it includes lab works.
In dallas though there are so many good deals like doctors hospital which is 3000, JPS hospital which I hear is 4500 for everything and someone also mentioned baylor carrolton.i will advice u research these

Hi all,
To God be the glory, entered Dallas via Atlanta with Delta airline on mar 26 @ 34wks.Poe was a breeze, no major questions, no correspondence asked for. I'm here with hubby and 2kids. Hubby was just asked what he does and why we were there. He also asked how far along I was and then stamped us in. No agriculture or 2nd check point. Also anyone looking to get PTA, try standard chartered. I got 4K from them. Any moms in Dallas , pls pm , so we can keep in touch.
Congratulations. Am in dallas too.using methodist charlton.
We can connect

Hi everyone,my POE story.
Came in yesterday to dallas fort Worth via frankfurt
In lagos,i was asked for fit to fly by the lufthanza staff but that's the only place I was asked .
Arriving in dallas, people with b1/b2 visa do automated custom check but if u have food or over 10k( which I did) u will be sent to an officer.
The officer stamped me in for 6 months after asking how long I wanted to say n I said I wanted to give birth.no questions about receipts from previous birth and all.i was quite scared cos last time I came to gv birth I didn't say.
It was all breezy and I think dallas is a very good POE.
Meanwhile is there anyone in dallas to give birth right now? Pls pm me

For doctor's hospital their maternity package fee is 3k but don't know about CS. Is finding a doctor that is the problem, most of their doctors don't take patients that are more than 28 weeks. Was considering the hospital before but when I found out about the 28 weeks from almost 4 doctor's that I called, I had to reconsider.
Thanks alot.i hv gotten in touch with 2doctors now and they didn't say anything about 28weeks.though will be getting there when am about 30 weeks.pls which doctors have u this clause.

I applied for Dropbox with my new passport o! But I guess I attached the old one to it
feddy27:
There is no need to lie.. besides if she gets a new passport, she's no longer eligible for dropbox cos the requirement is that your previous visa must be seen.

Just booked my baby's ticket to Nig and Delta gave me an unbelievable quote of $43.20..
I called from the U.S. so no need to buy it from Nigeria, il pay at the airport on the day of departure.
#feelinghappy# smiley
Would have advised u bought on the phone.after I had my baby in 2013, we called delta and the gave us a quote on phone but we where like we will pay in the aiport
Only to get to airport and the money they asked us to pay was different and outrageous. We where almost missing our flight so we just had to pay. Abt 600 dollars.thank God we even had the money

Hi all.just read something in earlier post that has got me thinking.
I had my baby2years ago and when her social security number came in the mail, my aunty who I was staying with opened the envelope b4 she gave it to me.
Just found out now that people can do illegal things with a baby's social security number.
How can I prevent this

Hello house,
please does anyone know of an affordable hospital and a doctor in Portland, Oregon? I've been here for the past 8 days and the cheapest package that I've gotten so far is $9,000 with 20% discount, If I pay early. Kindly help a sister please.
Just saw this post.i had my baby in port land 2years ago and while d doctors fee was fair(abt 2000) the hospital bill was crazy you. After negotiations I paid abt 8000 for hospital bills. So I guess port land is extra expensive. U may want to check Peace health hospital at vancouver.just like 15 mind away.i did some lab tests there and they were ok.also there was this naturopathy clinic which actually gave me a quote for 4500 for everything but the as the won't be able to manage emergencies I didn't want to take the chance

dancewith: A sis gave birth last year in MD and it cost $7,999. The method of delivery was CS so I suppose normal delivery may be cheaper. In NYC it is way too expensive. I will recommend you also avoid these areas: North Carolina, NY, Atlanta, Michigan

Someone had a baby at Delaware for $3,500. Another sis paid less than $5,000 in Texas. Portland is also cheap. It would appear that Delaware and Texas are your target

Good luck
i know its been a while since u wrote this but am curious about portland.do u know any specific hospitals and how much exactly is cheap.thanks
