Do yorubas think this there media propaganda work ?

Appointment of a known ally of wike as sole administratot weakens wike influence -yorubas (2025)
my dear unfortunately it’s the case, that guy ain’t Wike ally. Knowing Wike too well he would have gone all over the media justifying the emergency rule. This is a sucker punch on Wike who never in his wildest dreams saw this grin

So you think the Sole Administrator appointed is not Wike’s friend? You haven’t seen their pictures together enjoying themselves?
so also is Fubara, they both have pics together, but pictures together doesn’t mean friendship. You should be wary about Wike silence
Politics › Re: Rivers: Emergency Rule To Weaken Wike’s Influence, Says Analyst by sweerychick(f): 9:41am On Mar 22, 2025
cool I agree with this! as much as I dislike Tinubu and APC but I see a political abracadabra here, have you noticed that Wike is not really talking as usual huh I bet Wike never saw this coming, this was a strategic political move by Tinubu to tame Wike growing influence. Another clue to support this is that Tinubu never cautioned Wike on the crisis in Rivers state instead he was attacking Fubara, meaning that Tinubu already had a plan to deal with Wike. Wike now has lost influenced in Rivers state, because the sole administrator would now take orders from the President. It was a game plan all along, the game here was that Tinubu would set a fight between Wike and Fubara then at the center of it all he would take over. A classic example of game of Thrones.

FEAR YORUBA PEOPLE…. NIGER DELTA MAKE UNA DEY MUMU

embarassed Tinubu this is the same way you’ll be held hostage by soldiers when your time is up. It’s very clear that you the one that is main protagonists in Rivers State crisis, it shall never be well with your administration. You claim to be a champion of democracy but in reality you have destroyed the very essence of democracy. You have just succeeded in setting this country ablaze, watch how these militants would wreck havoc in Niger delta all because of your incompetence.

Politics › Re: Exciting News: Peter Obi And Obidients Set To Visit Donald Trump At White House! by sweerychick(f): 9:08pm On Mar 16, 2025
21lucky:
In a bold and groundbreaking move, Peter Obi, the prominent Nigerian politician and former presidential candidate, is gearing up for a highly anticipated visit to the White House. Joined by a few passionate Obidients, Obi will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump and senior White House officials to discuss crucial matters regarding Nigeria's upcoming 2027 presidential election.

This historic visit aims to open dialogue on how the 2027 Nigerian elections can be free, fair, and transparent. The group intends to raise concerns about the legitimacy of the 2023 presidential election that saw Bola Tinubu assume office. Obi and his team will urge Trump to consider investigating the 2023 election results to ensure that any potential malpractices or irregularities are thoroughly examined, particularly in light of concerns about the abuse of executive power.

Obi’s mission extends beyond politics – he plans to delve into broader economic discussions with Trump and White House officials, comparing the U.S. and Nigerian economies. With growing hopes for a stronger Nigeria, Obi aims to explore how both countries can collaborate to foster mutual growth and prosperity.

As the 2027 elections draw near, Peter Obi’s determined efforts to secure a free and fair electoral process in Nigeria could reshape the future of the nation's democracy, with global attention on his next steps.

Stay tuned for updates on this pivotal visit!

Tinubu has lost it all.

Here is a man who got so excited about being sworn in as president of Nigeria, went off-script, and screamed 'Subsidy is gone' without understanding what it entails or putting measures in place to mitigate its effects on the citizens.

Today, Nigerians are being subjected to untold hardships, hunger, and starvation because of that thoughtless statement and other thoughtless policies.
painful thing is that the failure is still paying subsidy

😂 😂.... But i said it na that budget presentation no longer serves their interest.

Presenting the budget today will benefit Fubara more than Wike 😂

These are the fools who have been lamenting about the budget... today they dont want it any longer.... approving the budget will give fubara more money to fight but no kobo will enter Wikes hands... una dey see game? 😂

Are we still under any illusion that the 27 clowns are there to serve Rivers people?? Your state has no allocation but you choose to go on recess and like your godfather, have told Rivers people to go to hell... 😂 😂

You are stalling the budget presentation but going after the chief judge. These lawmakers will be so butchered like cows it wont even be funny.

Look at how 1 man has ground a state of 10 million + people to a halt cos of insatiable greed and insulting them ontop of it, saying they can do nothing!!! His treatment will worse than that of Samuel Doe of Liberia.

I pity the 27 clowns and their families... JUDGEMENT DAY IS VERY CLOSE!! AND E GO BRUTAL...

Kai!! But FUBARA too wise sha.... I don't know who is advising him but he has a strategist in his corner. He's subtly UNRAVELLING THESE JOKERS...
No wonder Wike dey lament 😂

Fubara go act weak for court of public opinion... behind, the fellow is dealing with Wike 😂

Ondo State is drowning in blood—farmers hacked down like animals, families torn apart, a land once fertile now soaked in terror. The herdsmen’s rampage continues, yet Nairaland, the APC propaganda sewer, and its groveling, brain-dead urchins are mute. Not a single tear, not one word of solace—just deafening silence as corpses pile up.

And what do we get instead? Mind-numbing drivel, sycophantic bootlicking, and the lowest form of intellectual filth. They prattle on about nonsense while men, women, and children are butchered in their own fields. Misplaced priorities? No—this is moral bankruptcy at its most vile.

Politics › Re: Australia Issues Travel Advisory To Parts Of Nigeria by sweerychick(f): 3:00pm On Dec 31, 2024
yoruboid:
The Australian government has warned its citizens against travelling to Nigeria over the high likelihood of terrorism and breakout of civil unrest.

Nigeria’s statistics bureau, in its December crime update, said an estimated 2,235,954 abductions occurred between May 2023 and April 2024. It said the average amount paid as ransom for kidnapping was N2.7 million per incident, with an estimated total ransom of N2.2 trillion paid within the reference period. The North-West reported the highest ransom paid with N1.2 trillion, while the South-East was the least with N85.4 billion.

“Reconsider your need to travel to Nigeria overall due to the volatile security situation and threat of terrorism, kidnapping, violent crime and the risk of civil unrest,” an updated travel advisory by the Australian government stated.

The advisory warned Australians against travelling to Adamawa, Anambra, Imo, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Borno, Cross Rivers, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Niger, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara due to the “volatile security situation.”

According to the Australian government, there is also a high threat of terrorism, kidnapping, violent crime and the risk of civil unrest in those states.

“There’s a high risk of terrorist attacks across Nigeria by various militant groups. Attacks could be indiscriminate or may target foreign interests,” the travel advisory stressed.

It added, “Potential targets include places where crowds gather, such as hotels, bars, restaurants, political meetings, government buildings, places of worship, schools, markets, shopping malls, sporting events, transport hubs and networks, law enforcement facilities, international organisations and camps for displaced people.”

The travel advisory came amid thousands of tourists, including celebrities and Nigerians based abroad, into the country for the ‘Detty December’ end-of-the-year revelry.
