Hello moms, pls I need advice and possibly real life experiences of anyone that have been through this. My DS will be 2years in 2weeks time. I didn’t worry, until recently that I began looking at schools for his enrollment come January.
1. He used to have about 10words in his vocabulary as at 14month old, and would readily repeat whatever u ask him to say. He would also turn around at the mention of his name. But he suddenly stopped saying actual words and resorts to occasional blah blah blabbing, wouldn’t talk no matter how much I prompt him. Doesn’t respond to his name either (noticed this after I came home with DD from the hospital after delivery, he also began sucking his tongue at this point). His hearing is perfect, that am sure. I believed it is cos of our isolated environment and introverted nature and he’ll pick up once he starts school and mixes up with kids his age. However, school admins of almost all the school I’ve been to say it’s very unusual for a kid his age to not communicate at all. Have anyone experienced this? Should I be very worried? Should he resume school immediately? Plus he has delayed teething. Still at 5teeth currently, has anyone experienced this level of delayed teething? His sucking of tongue habit is getting worse the more caution and spank his lip, will he stop this u think?

Am up this late with worry and browsing. What am seeing is not so encouraging. I feel like I let this happen. I shouldn’t have kept him isolated for this

long. Maybe he should have started school since he began walking. Am so confused. At the same time trying to make sure am not in denial.

My sister be calming down ,I can understand your fears.My 2.4yrs daughter was none verbal at two,i will call her name she will not respond @2 yrs mogbe shey village people haf not get mi bayi ?she like to be by her self watching nursery rhymes.i had to ask my sis shey all this nursery rhymes she has been listening to all this time. what is she doing with them?then one day we heard her singing twinkle twinkle little star ,so you have been storing all this things in your head ba,she recited 1-8 one day and we were shocked which kind pikin be this one though she is not talking fully yet but can say 'bye' 'see you" and as the spirit leads her to say.she will start school by January in order to help her improve on her vocabulary.

please pardon my writing all am trying to say is that give the young child time ,you will soon begin to see improvement.

We are on the same boat oo,mine will be 2yrs next month,initially i was scared until i heard her sing "rainbow ruby and baby shark" about a month ago since then i have let her be when she is ready will talk.

I have seen this type of thing before with my neighbor's mother its usually associated with older women.
Firstly,she should stop tying ordinary wrapper because its not discharge but fluid that is coming out of the vagina buy her alot of cotton pants so that she will be changing at intervals.
Take her to the hospital for proper treatment. May God grant you the wisdom to overcome.

I have been starving since last night cos I don't want this baby to be too big. My sister has already suggested I start taking lipton.

Hmm...Na wah o. And there I was thinking baby won't be big since I keep losing weight and adding not more than 3kg maximum.
Please, is there anyone here that was told that her baby weighed up to 3kg at 36 weeks and still went on to have 3.5kg baby? I don't want to exceed 3.5kg. What do I do please?

If I hear say scan say,eat food abeg,at 36weeks,scan said baby'weight is 3.2 but I ended up giving birth to a 2.65 baby though she now chubby

team October, I'm out of the race,I went for my normal antenatal yesterday and the doctor couldn't find my baby's heartbeat and I was sent for scan and the scan IUFD,I was Induced yesterday by 9pm and I gave birth to my baby girl sleeping by 4:30pm

The nurse decided to check me again n she screamed, I can feel the baby's head,the other young doc checked n it was true (all these happened within 30mins since the ogbanje doc checked me)that how I was taken to the delivery room,the Angel nurse took over the delivery which is not a standard practice there. She asked me to push, with one push the baby' half body was out and they screamed telling me stop pushing.lo n behold there a cord tightly strapped on my baby neck, that was how they looking for scissors oo,scissor brought is either not Blunt or falling to the ground.I kept on saying a living baby out of a living mother.

The cord was finally removed n i pushed my 2.65kg ebony beauty out without tear.scan can lie,it said 3.1 on.the no tear birth was just sweeting me vos my previous birth na tear tear with pain.if u c her now I would not believe she was small at birth.

Phew...e no easy to write Bs oo n o suck at writing,But at all na him bad.may God make delivery easy for every pregnant mama.please always pray For people that will take delivery.

After about 4hrs after I measured 5cm,I told the young doc with me to rupture my membrane to make whole thing fast mind u,I wasn't feeling any strong contraction.the doc said its only a senior doc that can do that na there action film start.my village people sent a senior doc to Rep them.the doc checked me n said,I was just 4cm both the young doc n the nurse were shocked and me kukuma say lailai forward ever backward never.he managed to rupture the thing n Left. Na so they pass aunty oxy.the contraction became stronger.then God sent an angel my way in person of the nurse that want to takeover afternoon shift.

It has never happened before that I measure less.there is this hill usually climb to induce labour but for where?my madam stayed put I had to climb 3 times n kpekus.
Midnight,labour started I slept throughout cos the contraction was not strong n regular but I told madam today u must come out.
Oga dropped me at the hospital n told to go to work.they did not take me serious at hospital because I wasn't feeling any thing. At 9:30 ,they managed to check Mr and I was 5cm gone meself shock.I was asked to lay d down

By the grace of God the pregnancy went on smoothly until revelations started coming in that my enemy will die at Childbirth.we started praying n almost gave in to the fear that I started looking at my children as if it will be my last but I started confessing God's words.

Fast forward to 36weeks appointment, the doctor measured my tommy and said it doesnot commensurate with the gestational age.na so he send me go do scan ooo. Scan said I was 34weeks
