Nothing against marriage. No buts. I guess if I had a but, it would be: I want to marry BUT I have not met the right person. If I find the right person today, I have nothing against marrying him tomorrow. I'll just not start popping out babies yet, because I'm still working on my career. But nothing against marriage, it's all about meeting the right person. ![]() |
OP, I think what you meant to say was the guys in the pictures are sexy! Personally, I don't find dreads sexy, but DAMN! Those men in the pictures are hella fine! They would look even better if they cut off the damn dreads. No hard feelings to anyone out there with dreads though. But personally, it's not appealing to me ![]() |
Just here for the comments.. |
Photoshop at it's finest. |
Why are you bothered though? Ignore him back, it's not that difficult; at least that's what I'd do. I can't let little things in life bother me anymore. I'm pretty sure you have more important things to worry about. #Unbothered |
FestacGirl:Congratulations |
FestacGirl:Lol Please my friend, wake up. The sooner you do, the better. Even if I was a guy, I wouldn't be willing to do all of that ![]() |
sweetgala:Yep, still haven't found that special someone ![]() |
Prepare to be single for a long long time. |
If he's not your type, and you're not feeling him. That's reason enough. |
Your score: -10. Why? Not because you're ugly (You're a pretty girl), but because you're seeking approval and attention, you're what I call an attention wh0re. You need to stop these posts about your looks. Looks aren't everything. You should be asking us if your personality is ugly or not. You better be worried about other things in life, not looks alone. |
You need to learn to stop seeking attention/approval from other nairalanders. All these posts about you being ugly needs to stop. Attention wh0re smh |
No, you don't; not even one bit. ![]() |
First of all, we need to stop referring to girls as "property", she belongs to herself. And OP, you need to respect the fact that she isn't in a relationship with you. Respect the boundaries, and you should make the right decision. If you want to sleep with her, ask her to break up with her boyfriend to be with you. Hope you make the right decision. |
lordtriplee:Lol thanks Yeah, it really shouldn't be like that. ![]() |
You could pick up hobbies like knitting, or crocheting like me! I already mastered the two, now I'm learning how to sew! |
Tell your friend to get a job/career. If she was independent, she would care less if he was generous or stingy. FYI, guys respect independent women. Also, her boyfriend doesn't owe her diddly squat. Please, he is not father Christmas. |
OP, please have several seats. |
princeshijman:I'm not even in a relationship. Clap for yourself. Also, you know me well enough, right? That's how you know I have skeletons in my cupboard? Congratulations. Also, marriage is about trust. Where is the unity if there is no trust? It makes sense to marry someone you can't trust enough to do without their social media passwords, right? Since you're so smart. But hey, you asked for help. I was only trying to help you, but I guess you answered your own question, congratulations. |
Privacy, man. It's called privacy. The fact that there are no skeletons in the cupboard isn't enough reason for her to give you her passwords. Respect her privacy, and learn to trust her. If you can't trust her, why are you two in a relationship? Personally, I have no skeletons in my cupboard, but I'll be really disgusted if my significant other asks me for my social media passwords. Moreover, no, I don't think I can give my significant other my passwords even if we were married. It's called privacy, respect it. |
Lol! I'm not about to read this whole essay. Please, someone tell me when a summary is available. ![]() |
Someone please remind me to come back to this thread ![]() |
OP, agreed, there is something wrong with the mentality. Unfortunately, our girls are taught to be dependent on their male counterparts, which is wrong. It is also the same way that our boys are taught that it it the woman's role to do the housework and all other domestic chores, which is also wrong. This is a two sided problem caused by society, because of the defined roles of men and women. The only thing that can fix this mentality is time. With time, hopefully things improve. Cheers. |
I don't discriminate based on what hand someone uses to write. Honestly, it doesn't matter to me as long as you can write. Also, you being left handed was probably not the reason she left, but more of an excuse. |
OP, you're better off looking for a girlfriend in real life. I guess you just need to meet new people. This online dating thing is for the birds. ![]() |
As long as his profession is somewhat respectable, and he's the best at it, I honestly don't care what he does. Also, if he doesn't earn equal to, or more than I earn, it's a no no. Sorry for being so blunt. But I'm also being honest. |
Exercise is actually a sign of good living, OP, it's good for maintaining a healthy heart. Everyone is encouraged to work out! Getting a 6 pack is a bonus! Turn off: Odour, poor sense of style, poor self-esteem, lying. Turn on: Guys who are ACTUALLY funny, guys on the far right side of the IQ spectrum, guys who are fit(yes, I will be your gym partner while I stare at your 6-pack) , guys with good self-esteem, and the ones who dress to impress. I'm sorry, but a man in a suit is one of my weaknesses. ![]() |
