Mamas in d house pls I need ur help o. Since I gave birth to my son 5 weeks ago,I ve been passing thru pain when breast feeding. My nipple hurts so bad and while breasting on one breast,I would be having shooting pain on the nipple N areola of d oda breast. I thought d pain will subside few days after delivery but its getting worse. Help!

Mamas in d house pls help me o. I am having very painful nipples when breast feeding my 13days old baby. Am a FTM and don't knw wat 2 do.

After abt 4 days past my EDD,I woke up on saturday morning soaked wth amniotic fluid. So I went to the hospital around 11am N was induced by 12pm.By 3pm contraction started N lasted till 8pm wen it was time for me to push.
My lil prince came out at exactly 8.10pm and weigh 3.2kg and I didn't tear at all.
My breasts ve refused to produce milk and he is hungry as he keeps sucking his mouth N fingers. I am really feeling bad. We were given glucose water from the hospital N that's wat he has bin taking and I don't intend 2 introduce formula nw. What do I do?

I've shared my experience on this trend sometime back... i was induced for my 1st birth, and it was the most stressful ever... infact, am hoping to induce the 2nd one sef.

My EDD was d 22nd...and i submitted myself willingly for inducement on d 23rd... Majorly cos i tot, there's no reason y, eventually, one may still be induced if the pikin dey gbadun to much...and is not eager to exit. It was either the inducment(after several days of discomfort) or CS...

As for feel the baby kick on d ribs... i feel am die... d 1st time. The 2nd has started kickin too now sha...

Above all, just pray that God's will alone be done.

Most stressfull? Or do u mean to say stress -free. Why then would u want it again if it was stressful? Anyway sha let me see how it goes for d next few days.
@Oduwan,u re welcome dear. But I must say u re among d lucky ones,Lol. Many women at ur stage can hardly eat because of MS but look at u,eating yanfu yanfu ,but no too turn orobo sha.

Thank u all 4 ur concern.Doctor told me that I will be induced 9 days after my due date,but its just 2 days past my EDD now. I hope I go into labour naturally b4 then because I ve heard about some negative things about d induction. My next ANC is next tomorrow. Doctor has never told me if I am engaged or not but I am having d pelvic pressure.

@Rukemi,am fine and still pushing o. Due date has come n gone but LO doesn't want 2 come out . The discomfort is not easy at all.
Abeg make I ask una,is it normal to still be feeling LO's kicks in ur ribs at dis stage? He keeps kicking me seriosly there,but from wat I heard,baby should ve descended down 2 d pelvic region by now. Don't mind my question o,its my first time.

Hahahahaha..dis is funny walahi. Don't be scared,sex is safe for pregnant women even up till d time for labor,unless otherwise advised by ur doctor 4 medical reasons. Enjoy nw o because after she puts 2 bed u will stay for weeks without sex .

@mummy,u re right on point. Its best 2 ve ur mum around because she knows wat u want and u can easily get along with her. But in d case of MIL,its not going 2 be easy,i cant imagine having my MIL around 4 omugwo. I can tell my mum anytin and she will understand but MIL may see it as an insult. Abeg i no dey 4 wahala.

utchlady: Started bleeding lastnight at about past 10 rushed to the clinic and I was told I have possibly miscarried. I am presently at the clinic for obstetric scan. It is well with my soul.

Bludeville: Any November momma's?? I'm 36 weeks plus and I have given my baby quit notice, 2weeks and the rent will expire . BTW, I'm not looking forward to the whole omugwo. I want to do it all by myself. I see myself and my mum fighting over a lot of things when she comes. She's already questioning my choices and options and when I give her a response she doesn't agree with she will give me a sarcastic "Ehn! you know better " ;(
Anyway, God help me to be patient and say the right things with her, make she no use quarrel go back village
