oluomad: I get u! But most times low scores can't be attributed to laziness, I read my ass out and Uniport threw me off balance with their question, but God saw that I deserved admission with my low score and gave it to me... Merit list thns... Econs!

Its not a bad thing to depend on God when we have lost hope on our capabilities, they might have read very well just that everybody musnt be lucky!

My Pretty advice to them all who didn't make first list is this! Start preparing for Jamb next year now, and also keep praying for luck in the next list, but d sooner you realise that the more you waste emotions and time in regrets, d better! Time is ticking and it waits for no man! Before u knw what's up, its december and by then you start reading with pressure! Prepare ahead and correct ur mistakes nw!

otokx: You can say you do not know there was an orientation or you knew and did not attend, that will be much better than to say it never happened, even sandwich that are currently here, their orientation was done this week.

otokx: Please i hate it when lies are propagated, you guys were well informed especially at your orientation, that this policy has not been implemented is a different case entirely.

This new set of incoming basic students may still claim next year that they were not informed even when its clearly stated in the advert. Imagine somebody still coming to ask here if it is a must for them to select UNIPORT as a choice in the 2015 JAMB.

If you like do basic and select UNIBEN as your choice in JAMB when time reach, hand will touch you.

otokx: Yes, the rule has been there for years now, but it became necessary in the last 2 years when NYSC insists that there can be no service without JAMB admission letter.

The university is still trying to reach out to JAMB to resolve all pending backlog.

otokx: There was an orientation exercise where the Admissions Officer spoke; even in your handbook its there, in the current advert for those about to enter it is there. The matter though has not been finalized but that is the worst case scenario.

otokx: There are some technicalities involved; one of which is that for candidates to move to year 1 they must have scored above 180 in the current jamb. Did you score up to 180 in current jamb?

Ya..it must be paid once..no accomodation 4 basic students bt u cn buy space in d hostel or better still rent a room off campus..

D tuition fee is 71,500

10K with bank charges of almost 500..lets jst say 10,500

Basic form for d school of basic studies,uniport is out...registeration is online and strts on monday..1st of september,2014......application for science students alone...form is 10,000 naira only..
