Since i did security wipe on my phone its yet to fully come on, with wifi its yet to get past the terms n condition agreement page...it just gets back n connects to the wifi ntwrk again n kips rolling round n round with "connected" on the screen i don tire  |

cupid4ig: first of all did u format the mcard b4 inserting it. a friend of mine was having the same issue i tried looking for the thing tat was eating up memory but didnt succeed what i did was to plug the phone to my lapot and open my computer then select the memory card and start checking all the folders one after the other it was then that i saw some music and video files in another folder that is not for music and videos and those files refused to show in my videos and music folders. I deleted it from the mcard and the others memory became free. i then noticed that the mcard was used in android tab so when she put it in the bb blackberry created its own music, video and picture folders and hide the other one. hope this helpsYeh, I used a pc n went thru the phone again(not the mem card), and I saw a folder named "misc" with 6GB memory with sub-folders "android, tmp, and whatsapp" ...I wana delete or cut it nw 2 see if i'll create the space on the phone |

walcolm: you can't survive with 2Gb memory card in this day and age...Q5 has only 8GB internal memory and the OS itself takes up about 2GB...your pictures, music and video must be responsible for the remaining used spaceI actually use an 8GB card dats wher i store my media files n all. See on my main phone storage details it says(total space:8gb, free storage space:272mb, vids:2.6mb,pics:87.3mb, documeents:3.2mb, music:1.9mb, other data:7.6gb), pls wats d 'other data??' cos i dunno wats eating that space and i doubt d apps on my phone are up2 7gb...dats wher my main ish lies. Sorry i cnt get a screenshot atm cos my fone is kinda still in vegetable mode. |

Wal et al I hail, been a while. Biko iv been tryna upgrade 2 10.2, if u can recall my fone nearly crashed when I was upgrading to 10.1MR so iv automatically developed this phobia for upgrades. Ish is Glo pushed a 1GB upgrade to me, Iv used abt 7.7GB of my phone's memory(iono hw cos my media is jst abt 2GB, I dnt knw Wats consuming the other 5GB and I dnt knw hw 2 free it). So with less than 1GB space can I still do the upgrade?? Cos when I jst tried it started upgrading witawt askn 4 more space but I paused it. Or will it cause it to hang along the line demanding for more space which I dunno hw 2 create  |
