There have been some rumours emerge which have suggested that Bayern Munich and Manchester United lead the chaseto land Evertons Leighton Baines and will battle it out to acquire the brilliant left-backs signature.
This source believes that the set-piece specialist is being lined up as an ideal successor to Frenchman Patrice Evra and states that the only reason Sir Alex Ferguson couldn’t lure the England man to Old Trafford in the summer was due to having run out of money having opted instead to spend £24m to sign Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie, a decision that has clearly worked in Man United’s favour.
Baines he will have two years left on his contract at the end of this season and as such Everton can command a fairly high fee for the 28 year old who is also a player high up on Jupp Heynckes’s Allianz Arena wish-list. (Caught Offside)

An eight-year-old girl from London has been shot dead in Jamaica while visiting the countrywith her family.
Imani Green suffered from sickle cell anaemia and was spending time in Jamaica in order to benefit from the warmer climate when she was shot twice.
Police say Imani, from Balham, south London, could have been the victim of a revenge attack after a gunman opened fire in her cousin's cafe.
Three others were injured in the shooting and taken to hospital for treatment, but are thought to be in a stable condition.

Imani's sister, Janella Parmer, toldthe BBC: "We heard gunshots. We ran outside and shouted 'Imani, Imani,Imani'.
"I picked her up off the ground and realised she was still breathing. I flagged down a car and they drove us to hospital. Therest is history."
Detective Superintendent Steve Brown of the Jamaican police hassaid he believes the shooting thatresulted in the death of Imani was "targeted" but that she was not the target.
He said that police are still pursuing a number of leads but that they do not suspect gang involvement

I have read the whole of this thread to look for a nice number 5, but some I wld have chosen like EVENT have not gone beyond season 1 or 2 and they may never continue
