Hey guys, please I need a quick advise. I am a young man of 30. I just got an unconditional offer to study Masters in Business Administration at Sheffield Hallam University for January. I was denied study visa by US in October last month

Now my main question is that I have a bank account with over 100 million naira

Money belongs to me, my dad, 3 of my uncles and 2 of my elder brothers. I merged and compiled all the money in my account when applying for my US visa thinking that would make them give me the Visa, but unfortunately they did not even check my account statement, just asked questions and still denied me. Lol

Now my question is, can I use this same account as Proof of Fund for UK, someone advised me against it, because the ECO might ponder and wonder where an intending student got such amount of money from and might assume it’s unclean. (It’s not)

Should I just resend the money back to the owners and start a new proof of fund with another account?

Please advise

If you upload this account as Proof of fund, you would surely get an NSF mail requesting for how you made the money. Employment history, payslips, business documents, CAC, FIRS tax documents, amongst others. Be wise

Hello everyone. Please I need input on the way forward to this. I initiated form A about a month ago in UBA. At adb supervisor stage, I got this response "conflicting applicant's detail and account to be debited details" and it's recommended for rejection.
I initiated with by bvn but the account to be debited is my husband's. I uploaded all necessary documents Please I want to know if there is a way i can amend or should I cancel and re-initiate?

You Nigerians like putting yourself in unnecessary quagmires. I am an ex-banker in an old generation bank that handled most of these form A requests. During my time, we rejected a lot of requests.

You applied with your BVN why didn’t your husband transfer the money to your account and then you input your own bank account as account to get debited details ??

While filling the ds-160, he just gave details of the white collar job alone. He didn’t talk about the family business. Also in his i/20,there’s no family funds. We’re considering on doing another ds-160 to put the family business as part-time work duties. Pls can one put both full time work and part time work on ds-160? Also, our DS-160 is for Abuja but we got Lagos appointment. Pls I need an urgent answer coz the interview is next week. Pls @Greattestman @Moshkom @Chibertha and experts! I need help pls ��

There is no place to fill in private businesses or family business in the DS-160 form. Only current employment, past employment, educational background etc

So after you fill in your current employment, there is an option to click and add more, it brings in another drop down form where you can fill in another employment info. I think you can find a way to squeeze in details about your private or family business on there.

White paper means your visa is approved

Green or blue paper means your visa is denied
