I got a message from Dragnet with login details and a link which takes me to a page to log in with the details they sent.

but on the site I was not shortlisted for the exam, its still showing pending.. Is this a scam or is that how its done

Please when was this message sent and which day is the exam scheduled to hold

Mine is pending o. What does this mean since some are already shortlisted. Am i out of the race already?

Why not buy from Lagos island? Or are they cheaper in onitsha?

I don't understand why I would be assigned to a center in Lagos from delta state when there's a center in benin. I guess I'll pass.

All the argument about support staff and genral duty never even talk about the main issue. The thing is that, it is better to be in general duty than be a support staff. You won't have job satisfaction being a support staff in custom, that i can guarantee. No coded levels and rush money. You are at the mercy of those in general duty cos dem go dey task you around. This is why they require only professionals who can do specific tasks. All in all, it's not the best way to be in custom.

I hear you can move from support staff to general duty but even if it's possible, you gotta know top Oga in custom.

Well it all depends on your career goals. I for one would rather be a support staff, where I could practice my discipline and grow in my field than be in general duty. Infact, I was attracted to this job because it's for support staff, not everyone is interested in the "coded levels and rush money" and I don't see how it's possible to be at the mercy of those in general duty when we are in the same rank.

It is funny that those that graduated before 2014 but didn't get a job 2013 were not factored into the recruitment process because apparently they don't fit into 6-9 years minimum work experience requirement for experienced hire, neither do they fit into the graduate trainee! not good enough, but what do I know?! I wish the successful candidates the best.

Really, graduates from 2011-2013 where shortchanged in this recruitment. We were not eligible to apply for the last recruitment and also for this present recruitment. Too bad.

These are the people that will assist in the training process not necessarily Customs officer, can be from other agencies appointed just to facilitate in the training exercise just like having Soldiers in NYSC camp ground that does not make them corpers.

Please don't mislead the lady. Support staffs are full time customs officials, just like the name suggests they support the regular officers( General duty). They keep the organization running e.g the technicians ( electrician, computer/ IT guys and the administrators, now what I don't know is if same process regarding recruitment and training applies to both support staff and general duty.

Just thought to correct you in case you are shortlisted for exam/interview, custom service is not headed by dambazau as it isn't under ministry of interior but ministry of finance

All I will say is that your source is 70% genuine, the anchor person of this recruitment is determined to ensure that overall, every LGA in this country gets at least two successful candidates. Your source told you three, so it is close to it. And you corroborated my info about those that applied wrongly, even if you have a slot, it will be passed to another. Hello. Seems you are informed about this recruitment. Please I'm curious to know if marital status will be considered for female applicants especially for the superintendent cadre. I know it wasn't stated in the requirements but just wondering because other paramilitary organizations employ only single ladies, dunno if this is different. Thanks.

I hope there will be no discrimination of marital status for the female applicants for ASC Since its for support staff and marital status was not indicated in the requirements
