Kuzee23: This is Serious.. I don't trust Nigerians anymore.. Why re we filled with evil and bad ideas.. you paid for coin , after receiving coin you flagged the payment you made to the person... your bank refunds you the same money and you think you are smart. My brother, you will pay for it with the blood of your unborn kids... which means you shall bury all of them before you join them.. Oloriburuku people.. I will stick to LadyF anytime anyway... now I'm jealous of ladyF stick to me too plss Now our OLORIBURUKU nairaland scammer will start this technique soon.My AdviceReceiving payment first is no longer the safest method even ESCROW should be very careful. Birniwa: My own review was actually the one you see there on top where I mentioned 450k reversed, that's the equivalent of the $1,200 I mentioned earlier in my lamentation. When I had the transaction with him, his account was actually few hours new and had no single review. Though I was actually wary of how risky it is transacting with newly created accounts, I went ahead and did it anyway because my thought was that reversal of transactions is not that possible with Nigerian banks.
I've learnt another lesson now anyway, though the hard way. Yeah..we learn everyday, but I assure you your money is not lost if you act fast. You will definitely get it back |

gocare: It is not MITM. It is a pure lie.
The guy who sent you money is the real owner of the account.
Go to the bank with screenshots of your discussion, screenshot everything and take it to the bank.
Before then send screen shot and write a fraud report to your banks email address.
Call customer care and ask them what is the proper channel for you to go if you want to report a fraud to your account. Is the user the same guy that attempted to defraud you as well? if yes, then you didn't do well o. you should have complained to LBC official so that they ban his account Meanwhile, I suggest that he should be reported by all of his victim so that he got banned. |

Birniwa: I'm just wondering, is it possible for Nigerian banks to reverse a transaction after it has hit the destination account? I sold $1,200 btc to someone on LBC this past Thursday and I actually saw sms and email alerts for the NGN funds transfer, I checked my balance through mobile app and the money was sitting in there. A few minutes later I used the money I had just received from this guy and pay another person for more Bitcoins, he confirmed to me as well that he received and saw the money in his account.
But 2hrs later this guy called me complaining that he couldn't find the money in his account anymore, he added that his bank has also blocked his account and he was asked to visit the bank branch. I immediately called my bank to inquire about this issue and they told me that I received a money that involved scam and fraud. I also found out that my bank account has been restricted too.
What I'm suspecting now is that the earlier guy who bought my $1,200 btc to me called his bank and requested for the reversal after I released Bitcoins to him. Is it even possible? My fear is that has the bank really reversed the funds back to his account or it was even never a real transaction in the first place, could all the electronic alerts of email and SMS I received from him be fake? We transacted via LBC, how do I tell the bank that I really had a real transaction with this crook I nearly experience same in a deal of $1000 btc on LBC. Nowadays, I only deal with people with reputation on LBC even if their price is not as good as other traders |

Thisnut: common sense na free before. I had an encounter with this person too sometime ago, but God pass am. I ignored it because he did not strike further enough for me to call him a fraud.
I think we should always let tabbaz know wether or not we have enough evidence. If i had done that, maybe this evil would have not surfaced
But make una no dey over look for deal wey dey unbelievable though. Una go leave legit guys because of 5naira ×200 , you go lose almost 100k naira. It all boils down to greed on the sellers part.
Deal with trusted people not highest bidders
Tabbaz look into this issues. Traders should always do the needful before sending their hard earned money to avoid story like this. If eventually the fund is not returned, kindly drop all his details so that we can blacklist him. |

Hayjaycity: Dear Nairalanders,
beware of this numbers 07015036396, 08038696540, 08027534500 (Ayodele Charity, Tunde or Charis Bakers, Port Harcourt City ) 08087142616 (Okwaifugo, Port Harcourt). Be wary of dealing with them, both of them are scammers .
please I want the Nairaland admins to open a thread where numbers of those that swindle or attempt to swindle innocent nairalanders can be posted, so that people can come to check and verify numbers before dealing with them.
the above scammers just stressed life out of me yesterday to send my product to them before payment in which they have alterior motive, after giving them options that will be fair to me and to them, but as i already made it my policy not to send my phone to anyone unless i get paid for it. i will never attempt to scam anyone here, and i have a reputation of 6 years on Nairaland to protect.
lets continue to expose them and protect the vulnerale ones among us..
thank you all I give you 5hrs to provide evidence again okwIfugo as a scammer or you will be listed in the scammers list instead cc puskin dominique P.S. You don't just call anyone scammer without prove. I am patiently awaiting your prove P.P.S. I advise people not to do business with you for time being until you prove to us that you are innocent

by your response, a mod on NL would conclude that you are a scammer, and you are frequent on INVESTMENT section...oloshi Hello, First, you should not be insultive in your utterance to a fellow nairalander. Second, could you please provide us the detail of the scam activity of the person you accused of being a scammer so that we may include him in the scammers list. Failure to provide evidence will mean that you are the scammer and trying to lure your victims thanks cc puskin dominique P.S. You don't just call anyone scammer without prove.
