I am typing this with serious emotions and anger as i speak now.
Over the past 2 weeks, UBA have debited me a sum of #52.5 for over 80 times for all for Card Maintenance Fee.

A Total sum of over #4000 has been deducted for this.
I because of this moved the little i have to another bank but someone sent me money this money to the UBA and before i could say Jack, 3 simultaneous deduction for same reason has took place.

They are still on debiting spree as i type this.
And yes, i have visit their branch severally to complain of this .

This has been on for a while now, and after several complaints and email it stopped only to commence again. The illegal deduction is different from the normal monthly alert charges.
I've lost alot to this bank through the fraud they perpetrate on my account, and I've decided to stop banking with them and focus on my other bank, but how do i get back a refund of my hard earned Naira from them.

This is also a call for people, both their customers and intending customers, mostly those needing it for business purpose to be wary of that bank called UBA.
They'll fraustrate your business with illegally deduction.

I think it is an MITM case you have.
If the crook is on nairaland, be careful how how you reel out details of your efforts as you may giving him leeway to be ahead of you. Our police are generally known to be corrupt though few good ones still exist.
Good guys like Tabbaz, funlor.d, etc may have some good ideas.

Well, I will advice bellyjean to involve police especially if his evidence is genuine. Try find insider and work it out yourself. Do not hire people to go to police or sars on your behalf cos you may end up spending more than you anticipate and the case may still not get resolved.

I advise that before you sell to anybody, ask him/her to quote you here, then ask about the person's reputation here and then you can use escrow.
Surely, scammers will chat you up and try to impersonate legit dealers, hence, ask for quote and check the Whatsapp number whether it is the same with the one on the person's Nairaland profile.
Don't listen to anybody saying he chop ban for posting something and don't listen to story that touches the heart.
