Mention a southerner apart from the igbos who has a landed property in the whole of Eastern states. You guys wld come to Lagos, Kano, Ibadan, ilorin and establish business without anyone threatening you, and be boasting of helping the indigines to develop their their states.
South eastern states are not being developed because the igbos have made it so. Embrace fellows from other regions, and i can bet it that your region will witness an unprecedented growth in all sectors.

Besides, do they even sell land to non-igbos ?

Pls nairalanders, I am in deep mess right now. I have been living in my compound for 6 yrs now but due to some money issues I was evicted and my friend/fellow tenant was kind enough to take me in for the time being. It is him the wife and their small baby son that stays.

The problem started when the wife start complaining that am wasteful. i have never remained food they give me. from then they reduced quantity of food they give me and i dont complain.

Now just this morning am making tea and take 3 spoons of milk in her presence and all hell break loose. she starts shouting and call her husband that even them dont take more than 2 spoons. the man called me later and said it is time for us to part ways.

Am devastated now. i even used my last cash to buy a tin of milk for them. what do i do now? i have no where to go.

Must you drink tea?

Bros, you self no do well, 3 full teaspoon of milk in this recession is over too much.

Besides, you shld stop taking tea untill u get a house of yours!

I need an urgent professional advise on which of these items is better for ceiling of a residence. Some advised that I use asbestos while others favoured PVC .

An Ikeja High Court was on Thursday thrown into confusion after a witness slumped and died in the court just before testifying in a land case. The deceased who was in his late 30s had come to court to testify in a land dispute before Justice O.A. Olayinka.

“Before the case was called for trial, he started coughing and gasping and had to leave the courtroom. “He was vomiting a lot of blood and onlookers were scared to go near him. He collapsed on the corridors of the courtroom and a medical team came in with an ambulance to take body away. “His lawyer informed Justice Olayinka of his client’s death and she immediately stopped proceedings for the day,” a witness said.

When newsmen visited the courtroom, clothes smudged with blood were seen on the corridors of the courtroom as well as the blood-stained shirt and leather slippers of the deceased.
