I envisaged this this morning on my way to work. Thank God I left early for my abode. |
I expected to see Professor Adeyeye I knew and listened to during reign of Radio Kudirat on airwaves. Unfortunately, everyone is now for himself. I know that Nigeria will someday become what it's destined to be. |

Ok. Does Saraki think he can stand shoulder to shoulder with Tinubu when it comes to unleashing media on each other? I hope he is not just trying to unearth troubles that would put paid to his lean dignity and that's if there is any remaining |

The Fulani herdsmen working in Ondo State have called on the state Police command to investigate the killing of one of them, Dan Bako, who was reportedly murdered on Wednesday evening in Ilara-Mokin, a community in Ifedore Local Government Area of the state. The head of Fulani herdsmen in the State, Alhaji Alli Dongo while reacting to the death of Bako, said the police and other security agencies in the state should ensure that the killers of Bako were brought to book in no distant time for peace to reign in the state. Bako was reportedly killed on his way to Igbara-Oke, a neighbouring community to Ilara-mokin, where he lived. Dongo stated that the deceased had been living in Ilara-Mokin for the past seven years and was preparing to relocate to his state when the incident happened. According to Dongo, the deceased was sent by his kinsmen to buy food for them in Igbaro-Oke and he left with his motorcycle but did not return, saying that his motorcycle was seen beside a bush along the road, while his herds were also seen in the bush without him. He suspected that the herdsman was killed because his cows destroyed someone’s farm in the town, stating that the person threatened to deal ruthlessly with him and that his killing was reported less than 48 hours after the threat. http://dailypost.ng/2016/04/15/fulani-herdsmen-threaten-ondo-community-over-killing-of-kinsman/? |
Ours are not honourable enough to toe this line.....i mean most of our politicians are too self righteous to break the ice. |
Becareful about what you circulate regarding other people 's faith. You can't win a soul to yours by condemning other's . Mind you, I'm also a Christian....if Jesus abhors condemnation then who are we to judge others? |

Kkkk. Exploiting the leverage of your office as the wife of the President would still be viewed as corruption by some people. Anyway, I unequivocally share from this viewpoint. |
ILORIN—Kwara State government, yesterday said an executive bill pending in the state House of Assembly, had a 14-year jail term for convicted cultists when signed into law. The Bill, a part of the efforts of the government to stamp out rising cases of cultism in the state, has a minimum of 10-year-jail term for a convicted cultist. Of recent times clashes among rival cult groups in campuses and even in the state capital have led to loss of many lives. Briefing on the outcome of the monthly State Executive Council, SEC, meeting, Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Kamaldeen Ajibade, said the Bill had passed second reading in the state assembly, noting that no effort would be spared to eradicate cultism which, he said, had reached embarrassing level in the state. According to him, “In the Bill, the least of 10 years jail term and highest of 14 years have been prescribed for anyone found guilty of cultism in the state.” . He explained that the bill contained among others, confiscation of buildings and property harbouring such convicted cultists by the state government. Ajibade also said the state government had directed the harmonisation of the white papers released over Share/Tsaragi crisis of 2010 with that of 2015, to have a holistic and final solution to the protracted crisis in the two neighbouring communities. He assured that in the next SEC meeting, the white papers would have been harmonised to be released to the public. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/04/kwara-proposes14-yr-jail-term-cultists/ |
