Eghosa123: You have lost about 20 points in Age however If you have upto 3 years work experience then your CRS score should be around 455 except you are married and your Spouse did not have IELTS and ECA report. That may be another reason why your score is low. |

Eghosa123: Hello, The points are awarded for each band score not overall band score, so it will be better you write what you have in each of the language skills. You also need to read more about Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Levels. For Instance a CLB 9 will mean you've achieved a minimum of 8.0 in Listening and minimum of 7.0 each in Writing, Reading, and Speaking. If you don't have this then you maybe losing about 50 points in Transferability Skills. |

Ajujuju2: Hello Ajujuju, It is true that there is an expedite process for getting an FBI PCC however You can only use those agents (FBI Channeler) if you are a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. If not you will have to go through the normal process. You need to get your Fingerprinting done with a Money order of $18 or your Credit Card details and forward it to the FBI office. Don't be discouraged by the 12 to 14 weeks on their website. Mine took less than 8 weeks. Application Sent from US Address: January 14th, 2017 Application Received at FBI office: January 18th, 2017 FBI PCC Sent: 16th March, 2017 FBI PCC received at a US Address: March 19th, 2017. Please Note that it will be address to use a US address so that you can received it as soon as possible. I hope this helps you a little 1 Like |

walejummy: Bros they don't use grade to award points. Trust me you can have a better CRS point than someone with first class if you have a better IELTS results than such person. Bottom line, they don't award points based on your grade in the University but based on your Age, English Proficiency, Married Status, Work Experience and Transferability Skills |

Beem4cupid: If you applied for it after you got your ITA, I will advise that you submit your application and write a letter of explanation with all evidence that you have started the process of getting the FBI Identify Summary Check. it takes between 12 to 14 weeks for the FBI to get ready. That's well over 100 days. Remember you only have 90 days to submit a complete application. That's what I did cos I applied for the FBI Identity Summary Check two weeks after receiving ITA so there was no time on my side again. |

abbyode: As long as you don't have below 6.0 in any of the language Skills, I won't advise you to rewrite IELTS because your CRS score may still not be more than 400 after writing another even with a higher CLB. Obviously you have lost over 50 points in Age. So Kindly explore Provincial Nomination Programs. I will advise you to explore Saskatchewan PNP. NOC 2244 maybe suitable for you as an Elect/Elect Engineer and it is an On demand Job. Here is an helpful link below. https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/applicants-international-skilled-workers/sinp-in-demand-occupation-list 3 Likes |

mulero23: That is really complicated but I don't think it is advisable your friend use two different age to apply as that may lead to misrepresentation and refusal. He or She must look for a way of reconciling both documents to carry the same age. I guess the easiest way to do that is to get another Passport that has the same age with his ECA report. It is important that the age across all documents submitted including IELTS is the same. This is just my opinion 1 Like |

abusaibu:Hello bro, You need to start your age, your NOC and band score in each language skills so as to be able to guide you on how to improve your score however I envisage that you may need to rewrite your IELTS and ensure you have a minimum of 8.0 in Listening and at 7.0 in Reading, Writing and Speaking which is CLB 9. Note that they don't use overall score but individual band score in each Skills and you are also losing about 50 points in transferability Skills if you don't hit CLB level 9. you can also explore PNP if you don't want to rewrite IELTS. I hope this will help you |

zandora:@Zandora Glad to know you are in Ontario province. I received a PT NOI from Ontario on the 4th of December which was last week Friday. With the set deadline of Jan 15th to either accept the NOI or reject the NOI. I will like to ask if you got your ITA through the Ontario Human Capital Stream, if Yes. What are my chances of getting a nomination from Ontario with a CRS of 406 if i accept the PT CRS from Ontario. Thanks |

justwise:@justwise Your sense of judgement is completely wrong. You can only accuse me of promoting an agent/agency if I mentioned a name which I didn't. So how can you conclude that my story isn't real. Actions like yours discourage people from participating in a forum like this. I'm deeply dissappointed by your wrongful allegation. 3 Likes |
