Hello I had CLB 9 in listening, writing and Speaking. And I had 8 in Reading. This is my understanding from what I read on CIC.

My IELTS scores were:
Speaking:8.5
Writing: 8
Reading: 7
Listening: 8.5

You have lost about 20 points in Age however If you have upto 3 years work experience then your CRS score should be around 455 except you are married and your Spouse did not have IELTS and ECA report. That may be another reason why your score is low.

Hello Everyone

Please I need some help concerning my application for an Canadian express entry.
I submitted my profile on the 21st of sept 2016. The profile score is 426.
My job changed in November 2016 to a higher role.
I'm aware that I need a higher score to get an ITA but I don't know what to do now. Do I withdraw my application and reapply so that my current role can contribute to increasing my score, cos my understanding is that it's my experience as at the time of applying that counts. In summary I'm looking for ways to boost my score. I have a UK masters degree and a Nigerian Bsc. I was also a finance officer for 3 yrs, 1 yr customer service agent, 2 yrs was a credit controller/customer relationship manager. I'm now 5 months on my current job as the Head of customer service. My IELTS score is 8.

Hello,

The points are awarded for each band score not overall band score, so it will be better you write what you have in each of the language skills. You also need to read more about Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Levels. For Instance a CLB 9 will mean you've achieved a minimum of 8.0 in Listening and minimum of 7.0 each in Writing, Reading, and Speaking. If you don't have this then you maybe losing about 50 points in Transferability Skills.

Please house i need urgent help.

I only just found out yesterday that i need an American FBI PCC and i read t takes 12-14 weeks to get.
My question is whats my best option? FBI has a list of agents on its site, but i dont know if this is a faster better option.
Please if you hav gotten this FBI PCC please help.
Even if i use an agent can it be expedited?
Im in Nigeria now. PLEASE HELP.....

Hello Ajujuju,

It is true that there is an expedite process for getting an FBI PCC however You can only use those agents (FBI Channeler) if you are a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. If not you will have to go through the normal process. You need to get your Fingerprinting done with a Money order of $18 or your Credit Card details and forward it to the FBI office. Don't be discouraged by the 12 to 14 weeks on their website. Mine took less than 8 weeks.
Application Sent from US Address: January 14th, 2017
Application Received at FBI office: January 18th, 2017
FBI PCC Sent: 16th March, 2017
FBI PCC received at a US Address: March 19th, 2017.

Please Note that it will be address to use a US address so that you can received it as soon as possible. I hope this helps you a little

pls house, I need your view and candid advice on my case, have read over 50% of this trend, I wish to apply but my concern is my university school result, I had pass as my grade, and am currently working with a microfinance, will this my university grade affect my application or obstruct me during credentials evaluation? Will the grade also reduce my points, i have all finance to process and i also have work experance, am always luck in term of job, pls i need advices. Thanks m expecting ur candid advice

Bros they don't use grade to award points. Trust me you can have a better CRS point than someone with first class if you have a better IELTS results than such person. Bottom line, they don't award points based on your grade in the University but based on your Age, English Proficiency, Married Status, Work Experience and Transferability Skills

A quick one. My spouse FBI PCC is pending. Should I submit with evidence of him applying or 'jejely' wait for the certificate. That's the only document outstanding ooo

If you applied for it after you got your ITA, I will advise that you submit your application and write a letter of explanation with all evidence that you have started the process of getting the FBI Identify Summary Check. it takes between 12 to 14 weeks for the FBI to get ready. That's well over 100 days. Remember you only have 90 days to submit a complete application. That's what I did cos I applied for the FBI Identity Summary Check two weeks after receiving ITA so there was no time on my side again.

This is for all the gurus in this house.

I have been a silent reader of this thread since last year and I have been following all the conversation. However, I have some few questions.
I have an MEng, MBA, PGD & HND (Elect & Elect) all evaluated by WES. My IELTS results came out yesterday in which myself and my wife performed poorly though. We both scored 6.5 and 6 average (We dint really prepare for it). I am the PA and my wife ECA is not yet ready.

Be that as it may, I still entered the pool and got a CRS score of 325 which is surprisingly low. Now the questions...

1. Could this be as a result of the poor IELTS result?
2. Could this be age related as I am 40 and wifey is 39?
3. Why is this score so low?
4. What other options can we pursue?

I have entered the Job Bank and discovered I could apply for couple of jobs there.
We are planning to write IELTS again but I'm just wondering if that alone will fetch enough marks to get an ITA.

Your advice is needed please.

Thank you!

As long as you don't have below 6.0 in any of the language Skills, I won't advise you to rewrite IELTS because your CRS score may still not be more than 400 after writing another even with a higher CLB. Obviously you have lost over 50 points in Age. So Kindly explore Provincial Nomination Programs. I will advise you to explore Saskatchewan PNP. NOC 2244 maybe suitable for you as an Elect/Elect Engineer and it is an On demand Job. Here is an helpful link below.

hello Guru in the house, kindly assist clarify the age difference challenges my closest pal is having. The age on his WES evaluation report is quite different from the age on his international passport. Please which age is relevant to his express entry application. Please your advice will be highly appreciated. thanks

That is really complicated but I don't think it is advisable your friend use two different age to apply as that may lead to misrepresentation and refusal. He or She must look for a way of reconciling both documents to carry the same age. I guess the easiest way to do that is to get another Passport that has the same age with his ECA report. It is important that the age across all documents submitted including IELTS is the same. This is just my opinion

Hello Bro,

I understand your Worries. It is something you can do under 30 minutes once you get a Lawyer who is a Public Notary. All you need is to go to a Notary Public to notarize the gift however I can send you a sample I used so that you can use the format to do yours. Just hit me up through PM if you are interested in having a sample of a Deed of Gift

If yes like how many point, cos i want to increase my score.

I have 5 years working experience, IELTS oerall i score 7.

Thanks

Hello bro, You need to start your age, your NOC and band score in each language skills so as to be able to guide you on how to improve your score however I envisage that you may need to rewrite your IELTS and ensure you have a minimum of 8.0 in Listening and at 7.0 in Reading, Writing and Speaking which is CLB 9. Note that they don't use overall score but individual band score in each Skills and you are also losing about 50 points in transferability Skills if you don't hit CLB level 9. you can also explore PNP if you don't want to rewrite IELTS. I hope this will help you

Thanks a lot. Yes I know there are jobs, infact I've already been booked for 2 interviews for jobs in my field. Fingers crossed.

@Zandora Glad to know you are in Ontario province. I received a PT NOI from Ontario on the 4th of December which was last week Friday. With the set deadline of Jan 15th to either accept the NOI or reject the NOI. I will like to ask if you got your ITA through the Ontario Human Capital Stream, if Yes. What are my chances of getting a nomination from Ontario with a CRS of 406 if i accept the PT CRS from Ontario. Thanks

Sorry but i don't think your post is genuine, you are indirectly trying to promote that 'reputable agent' so i have to remove it

Having read through the rules of Narialand, I did not see how my post contravene any of this rules. On this basis, I demand an apology for wrongful allegation and for deleting my Post.

@justwise Your sense of judgement is completely wrong. You can only accuse me of promoting an agent/agency if I mentioned a name which I didn't. So how can you conclude that my story isn't real. Actions like yours discourage people from participating in a forum like this. I'm deeply dissappointed by your wrongful allegation.
