pictures of this gas power plant; mumu, you think gas power plant is like mikano generator that you just buy, Nigerian power stations are lacking Gas supply from NNPC, how come Winners get their own gas, abi thief oyedepo has started turning mess to gas grin
God forgive you. We don't buy things on credit in our church. We pay cash because we are fully loaded by the God who never fails us. Ask PHCN how much they are owing gas suppliers before you display your ignorance.

It is not mouth, it is fact. It is a gas power plant and there has been no power outage since 1999. Even Aso rock, the seat of power cannot have not experienced such. When you see things working in a place, just humble yourself to learn how it is working if you really want to move forward

Na by running generators 24/7 be say it's generating her own electricity? We all do at our various homes but then do you see it as economical or a misnormar? angry
Sorry, it is not generators. The church has launched a gas power plant that produces ........ MW of electricity. Several people have been employed for the operation as well. I see your bitterness but it cannot stop the move of God

where did Jesus give his most powerful teachings?.. on a mountain.. on plain grass..what did he do there?..he gave them the message..and did what?..fed them....did Jesus say "I can't feed the 5 thousand let them go to their government"..did Jesus not say " a day shall come when you shall need not go into the temples to worship God"..? ..what happened to renting stadiums?.. and using the remaining money for charity..since when this boko haram menace started I have not seen a church in the news helping out...I see big churches and see poor roads right in front of them..i see big churches and Nigeria being unable to feed the people lying on the streets..I see biggest churches ..yet Nigeria is one of the curropt countries in the world..who are we fooling..our selves..Christianity isn't about church..rather about love
Renting stadiums? That is not wisdom my brother. The present 50,000 capacity holds 5 services every Sunday. With this 100,000 capacity the church will still hold a minimum of 3 services. You seem not to have an idea of the factors that prompted this. And when the people wanted to make Jesus King so that he could be giving them bread, what did Jesus do? The bible says he fled, perhaps you have not read that part. Everyone has an assignment and Bishop David Oyedepo is focused on his and that is why he is shining. I think you should be drawing inspiration from good things when you see them rather than criticize

Even if they do, I am certain they spend only a very tiny fraction of what they make on the poor and needy. My point is that what should a church spend more money on? Those in need that jesus emphasised or church building structures that has little importance to true christianity.
Can you hear yourself? "Even if they do" it tells of someone who is not just happy about what is happening. You seem to be a christian but you have been swayed by reports about this man of God in the media. If you know only 10% of what this church has done you will not even open your mouth against it. We don't call the media to cover our good deeds. He that sees us in the secret is blessing us openly.

The passage below puts the answer to your question in better perspective.

Acts 7:46-50

46 who found favor before God and asked to find a dwelling for the God of Jacob. 47 But Solomon built Him a house.

48 “However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says:

49 ‘Heaven is My throne,
And earth is My footstool.
What house will you build for Me? says the Lord,

Or what is the place of My rest?
50 Has My hand not made all these things?’
Do you think it is his agenda? It is commanded by God and only God can bring it to pass. Except you are angry against the move of God because I can see you are quoting scriptures that do not add up. God does not live in temples but he said we should not forsake the gathering of believers. Where should believers meet? Check your heart to know if your statements are not coming out of bitterness towards this man of God and the project. I hope you are sincere with yourself

Misplaced priorities undecided
May God forgive you. What will you say about Solomon who built a temple made of gold for God and God was pleased with him? Your statement reminded me of the pharisees and I hope you are not one. You do not have to paint a church bad to get people to your own church (wrong strategy). May God forgive you for despising his agenda.

He seems to be the only one prospering while the majority of his church members are busy papaing him, going to shiloh Year in, year out seeking for propsperity that never seem to be in-sight.

On a more serious note, does this man ever give back to the society, any charity programme for the less privileged?
You simply know NOTHING about this subject and it is VERY CLEAR from your statement. Please come to Canaanland and see the blessings of God upon the lives of people. How can a pastor prosper when his congregation is not prospering? Perhaps you do not even look around when you are jumping buses to note that some of the best cars and houses in town are owned by Winners members. Are you sure you live in Lagos? I was a beneficiary of his scholarship while in UNIBEN. You can also take a quick trip to Liberia to confirm if they received aid from Winners during their civil war. Ignorance is deceptive but I know your statements came out of bitterness towards this project and man of God. As for me, I will live to see this project completed in my multiplied state. I hope to see you at the dedication #Glorytoglory

Serious selfish business minded pastor,
Solve a million problems,
Save countless souls by building a single industry.
Times it by the number of industries or factories you built and see you wipe out poverty and some vices in those areas its sighted.
Establishing or building churches or mosques is not our problem(s)
Our problem(s) is how to absolve our numerous unemployed youths.

May God bless everyone that heeds this advice Amen
May God forgive you by criticizing what He wants to do. If you are not aware, the visionary is sent and he is committed to only what God has sent him to do. He is not doing it because he feels like, but because God commanded it. This is kingdom service and if you do not understand it, it is better you keep mute rather than get angry against your maker. I hope you use this as a means of inspiration for your own life that God can still turn things around and if you are doing fine, there is always a next level. God bless you

Hi guys, did anyone apply for scholarship? Or is it automatic for international students? I came across a page while surfing the net that showed that application for scholarship by international students closed in May. If anyone has any relevant information it will be helpful for the house.

Tajad, didnt dey attend to u?
They seem to give preference to those that have appointment for the day. I was not prepared to stay long there as I had to get back to work.

Still surprised that those who have gotten their own visas have suddenly gone silent instead of sharing their experience for the benefit of others even though they are not obliged to but it will be highly appreciated.

@Solu; I have not been able to do that. I am yet to book a return ticket to India and I learnt one has to submit the evidence of the booked ticket while submitting the application. I hope to reserve one this week. Which stage are you now?

Hope I can get more light on this flight issue cos a return ticket to India will be a waste. Is it possible to hold reservation for a return ticket and then cancel once visa is issued to book a one way trip? Just thinking o.... and would not mind anyone helping my ignorance about travelling to India.
