PoliticsRe: TUC Threatens Nationwide Strike Over 5% Tax On Petroleum Products by Tajikia: 9:08am On Sep 10, 2025
TUC can't do anything. The concern of the suffering masses is for the TUC and NLC to match and form one formidable group. Nigeria Labour Congress NLC imploded shortly after Oshiomole leadership. This threat is mere acting; drama. This the reason why every arm of government is doing as it pleases it.

Nairaland GeneralRe: "Enough Is Enough To Ogun IBEDC" Poster Spotted by Tajikia: 7:57pm On Apr 29, 2018
Since November 2013 when the discos were created less than 1million prepaid meters were installed annually out of over 20 million needed for the country. The NERC has 'agreed' with discos to bill consumers by the meters installed on their transformers. Discos thereafter bill consumers any amount that they think is favourable to them (the origin of the crazy bill). They must remember that from the service wire to the transformer the community, in most cases, paid and installed them and they are now discos asset. They are now getting dilapidated with little concern to repair or replace any on top of the crazy billings. The MAP (Meter Asset Provider ) scheme being recently concorted will take another year to mature. All: NERC,DISCOS,FMRP&H are cheating the people they claim to be serving. The Ogun State post is another warning and a good election material for me. The day will soon break.
BusinessRe: As A Rich Person Now: If You Were Broke, What Would You Do To Become Rich Again? by Tajikia: 3:52am On Apr 12, 2018
To become rich again, use the same formula you use in getting rich in the first place. But note that if the richness came by fraud, recovery may be impossible as the source might have gotten wiser.
PoliticsRe: Coalition For Nigeria: Obasanjo Mobilizes 7 Governors, 20 Senators To Remove PMB by Tajikia: 1:13am On Jan 26, 2018
Here we go again! A nation of full of impatient people. This must leave that must go..on and on and on. We live same pattern of life. We brew one national topic for discussion at a time, generate heat and then keep matching on . Yesterday it was herdsmen and today is Buhari must go. Who knows the next topic. With due respect, Obasanjo has been given ample chances to do more than he achieved on power, employments, economics, agriculture, infrastructures etc. They are still not adequate during and after his tenor. He knows that governing Nigeria is not an easy task. He could have gone to PMB and chip in his advice privately as a state man. If a naked man keeps rejecting or is selective of firewood in the harmattan, he may die of cold. Nigerians we must think twice all the time.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Attack Saraki, Senate Over Osinbajo - Daily Trust by Tajikia: 10:08am On Jul 05, 2017
His assets declaration saga, his manipulation of his nomination as senate President, and the stacking of money in secret foreign accounts purportedly by his wife(unearthed by Magu) and other accusations against his person cannot make Saraki's senate confirm Magu. It's like committing suicide. He is swimming against the tide. He is an apostle of corruption but I don't think he needs all the wealth he has been stacking at the expense of the people he profess to serve.

PoliticsRe: Expect Surprises In Power Supply Growth, Fashola Tells Nigerians by Tajikia: 11:56am On May 31, 2017
A suggested way out is to meter every consumer as soon as possible so as to reduce wastage caused by consumers putting on appliances they don't need and bill for what is consumed. In this way there will be power available, incrementally, for serious consumers . If supply is low, everybody will understand Penalise, heavily, without exception anyone bypassing or tampering with the meters- with Government legislations. As it is now, the discos are very very comfortable with the bulk meters at every transformers sites and the cracy bills they issue. Leave them, they will keep giving excuses of all types. Power sector development have never been considered important until recently when everyone is expecting magic. But metering should be the first priority. Tarrif can then be adjusted as situation demands while development is going alongside.
