A 25-year-old Bluefield State student-athlete died at a local hospital on Monday night after collapsing following a pick-up basketball game.

Oritsetimeyin Amatossero-Keke, a 2nd year student from Lagos, Nigeria, died from unknown causes after leaning over to tie his shoes, following an open gym session at Bluefield High School.

He was transported by car to Bluefield Regional Medical Center, where doctors did an outstanding job, but couldn't be revived. Amatossero-Keke was an outstanding student with the highest grade point average on his team.

After waiting endlessly for days to get her PVC, a Nigerian lady took a drastic measure to facilitate the isuance of her PVC. She faked a pregnancy to draw sympathy from the INEC officials who issued her PVC yesterday.



According to Grace Ehi Isabella, she had been at the PVC registration center in her area for 4 days consecutively but was unattended to.

Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon, who arrived in Spain over the weekend where ‎he is scheduled to undergo a routine medical test with Levante football club, has been officially unveiled by the LaLiga side.

The Nigeria international footballer on Monday, completed his move from Belgium side, Gent, in a transfer that reportedly cost Levante a fee believed to be around the €5m mark with several add-ons.

Gent had also insisted on a sell-on clause which is believed to around 10%. The Belgian side decided to cash in this summer, instead of losing the 23-year-old for free next year.

The driver of petrol tanker lost control of his truck this morning and rammed into a school in Ekpoma along Ekpoma-Abuja Express Way,Thankfully no one was in the building when the accident happened as the school was closed for the weekend.

The truck however destroyed an SUV that was parked in front of the school.

This accident comes few weeks after a petrol tanker exploded at Otedola bridge in Lagos killing over 10 persons and destroying over 50 cars
