A trigger-happy policeman was beaten up and stripped naked after he killed a yet-to-be- identified woman at the Oba International market in Anambra state. He would have been killed if not for the timely intervention of other police officers who immediately stormed the area to rescue him.

Gospel singer, Solomon Lange is full of praise after coming out unhurt from a terrible car accident while he was driving to Kaduna State from Abuja yesterday.

According to him, his car crashed into three other cars but luckily no one was hurt.

He wrote, 'blessed be the God and Father our Lord Jesus Christ who always leads us in Victory. Yesterday driving to Kaduna to minister and inspire the children at Nazareth Schools Barnawa I had a ghastly motor accident, my car collided with three other cars but I came out unhurt, the people in the other cars were also unhurt. Apart from the terrible damage to the car nothing happened to me. Victory is our Pathway. Thank you Jesus'.

Nollywood actor and director Francis Atuma, has made it known that to make it in the Nigerian movie industry, one must be a prostitute or homosexual.

In his interview with The Cable, Atuma said;

”If you are not a full time or semi-prostitute, you will not make it in Nollywood. Our ladies are using what they have to get what they want. Even some of the guys who can use their a** are the ones making it in Nollywood. I am being very real here and they make it look as if they are doing well but they are not, they are suffering. Let’s stop deceiving the younger ones by keeping it real. We have to let the younger ones know how it is and what it is.
”Pascal Atuma is my name and I am saying it the way it is and that’s the truth. If you want to challenge me on this, please come and do it on any national television in Nigeria or anywhere. Facebook user Israel Joe accused police officers in Ekpan division, Effurun, Delta state, of fatally shooting one Christian, a member of the committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) Delta state branch.

The incident reportedly took place on June 18 at about 9pm. After the shooting, Israel claims that the police, in a bid to cover the extrajudicial killing, alleged that the victim was an armed robber who opened fire at them. They then deposited his corpse in the morgue and ordered the attendants not to disclose his identity.

Isreal wrote:

POLICE AGAIN HAS SHOT AND KILLED AN INNOCENT CITIZEN.

The police in Ekpan division, Effurun has yesterday shot and killed an innocent Nigerian. The victim "Christian" by name before his unfortunate death was a member of committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) Delta state branch.

This incident occurred at about 9pm yesterday 18th June at front of Praise Centre Church, Jakpa Road Effurun. In a bid to cover up their actions, they quickly deposited the decease at Warri central morgue with an instruction to the mortuary attendants never to disclose their identity.

The Squad led by one sergeant Wilson at Ekpan went ahead to allege the decease as an armed robber who opened fire at them. The victims car a black Toyota Solara is presently parked at the Ekpan Police station. I have never seen an armed robber robbing with his car and after he was killed the other escaped from a one-door vehicle.

Many questions will arise from this heinous incident and we believe if the Delta Police command refuse us justice, we shall seek redress upward. With the last drop of my blood I will defend this good friend of mine, the risk notwithstanding.

In what will come across as a really heartbreaking development, a fresh Nigerian university graduate identified simply as Dara, has died.

The young lady died in an auto crash, sending family and friends into serious mourning mood.

Local reports show that Dara was a fresh graduate of Ajayi Crowther University in Oyo State.

She reportedly died in an auto crash while she was heading home from her graduation thanksgiving.
