Your location matters, if you're in the north it may be easier. Just try it out, there is no harm in trial

The sat is very low on the horizon, you must make sure there is no obstruction whatsoever. Track dstv bring your dish down until it is straight, then move slight to your right standing in front of the dish, do this slowly and you will hit green. Use nollywood tp 12722H26657. Lnb scew 9 O'clock

Imagine you have CTL and you are comfortable with it and one day you enter the forum and discover new things you will forgo the CTL and face the reality of FTA which is DIY.

Someone directed me somewhere for 50k or so but the problem is the transport.

There is no where in Nigeria where transport is a problem if you use big lorries to transport it

That fiber dish I was referring to is a 3.8m dish used by an expatriate. That should be the trick. A 3m dish in Lokoja according to installers here cannot receive hotbird except from at least a 3.6m dish.
Which means the local pan dish from ogojohn is still OK but limited by its size.

If 3m can be this dull on hotbird in Lokoja that means it won't even show any green in Benin city, the option for me now is 4m but it's very expensive and I lack space. I have decided to buy CTL at least the money for 4m can give me 3 years subscription.

My dear locally made 4m dish is about 120k While 3m is 45k. I don't understand why 4m is that costly compared to 3m.

7w, 22w, 4.9e, 7e, 16/17e, 20e, 28e can all be on the 2.4m dish....... I think I am ok with that. I have a separate dish for 68.5e

Mutlti tv is 81%, Amos is 77%. In 7E you can get 70% but that will affect Ses signal

What you gave is Ku band and it belongs to badr which requires like 5m dish to get in Nigeria. So it is inconsequential. Let us wait for Irib on Arabsat as they promised, they will come back.

We are saying the samething, we all know how we cried when we lost the former channels. Their purpose of encrypting those channels with biss is to make them accessible. Our noise will make it disappear as of before
