I still wonder why people worry over non issue. Champion TV decoder can't be ranked 100th in the mist of high end decoders. I can't take it for free cos I have better ones. Those who feel important and too proud to help others got to the stage they are now from the information they got from nairaland. Not available in Nigeria on the freq except you are using a 4m dish in Central Nigeria.
Sky and Bein are on hotbird opened by only gscam receiver like mini x4 or tlink or tiger series.

I did same but each time I watch WAP TV it push me into OTA, I don't know somehow my decoder always set itself again and I will start the process again. The thing just dey turn me novice/mumu, almost got my 69z fried one day dey took light, thank GOD it downloaded but yet to write it.

Stop worrying your self over non issue. Get a flash and put the software with option, anytime it downloads OTA just insert your flash and upgrade ur software. For me I see nothing good in WAP TV that is consuming your time so

The TP is perfectly working at the moment. 4 stations but 2 are currently open , one of them is a music channel. The other 2 are blank.

I still don't understand why I can get those channels, while I have both Amos 5k and Eutelsat 16 here

Check the pix I posted. I'm in the South south so 1.8m cannot get Nilesat unless you're in Northern Nigeria. Nilesat is possible here with 3m upwards

Guy if you're a newbie contact a pro to help, I have 1.8 meters plus 2 mini dishes that gives me close to 500 channels strictly FTA, ranging from sports, movies, documentary, news, entertainment. Ask the right questions and you can't go wrong.

Those Channels are on Eutelsat 70b @ 70.5 e. You can have it together with IS20 68.5e

ok from your dstv position trun your dish right if standing at the back of the dish now bring the dish down and input 12722 v26657 bring it down real down till you hit green when you hit green you are good to go now turn lnb to 3 O'Clock then input 11045 v 40000 then lift the dish a little and you will hit green thats that

There is no better explanation than this. I have a 60cm dish connected to IS20. I just moved the dish up slightly up and I hit green on Yamal in less than 1 minute.

My Openbox V8 combo twin tunner receiver arrived from China today. The most significant aspect is the dvb s2-t2. I searched for terrestrial channels and got all the Gotv and star times channels, though only Lagos tv, NTAi and Go channel are free others are scrambled. This will come handy when the digital migration is complete. Am yet to asses the 3g, 2g and WiFi component. I'm also trying to add biss key which is still proving difficult.
