If i may ask which location is this that you talking about? it may actually help someone going to that location to be prepared you never can tell.

akanni:
You guys are missing the point!
He said it's better to come prepared and i agree perfectly.
I was able to get a $11.50 job because of my over 12yrs work experience in Naija at a restaurant.
I could only do 20hrs when school was in session and I have tried to get a better paying job all summer to no avail.
This could be specific to my location but it's the reality.
Thank God for savings set aside before embarking on this path.
It's your call whatever step you wanna take but like realone said, it's not that rosy all the time but it sure has its perks and I know at the end of the day, it will be worth it.

The average processing time is like 8 weeks plus or minus.

meddybrown:
Hello peeps in the house, I am new here. I got admission in a school in Canada for sept 28th 2015 and my cousin for sept 16th 2015 . We got our letters two weeks ago and we just finished gathering our documents. We intend to submit our application by Mon July 7.2015. Is it possible to get visa for within this period of time? I saw 51weeks on the cic site and one of my friend said the 51weeks processing week is the processing time they use now. She said they started since may and that everybody that apply from may it will take 51weeks to process it. I am confused And worried. Pls your reply is needed Asap. Thank you

Well said bruv am more inspired by this post so full of sense. God bless you.

coldasice007:
so no one should come to Canada because it is not easy but i think Nigeria is also not easy as well? have you guys even heard of some of the ridiculous salaries that are paid to Nigerian graduates or guess you obviously did not hear of salaries not being paid to workers for months in some states in Nigeria. please i think a lot of people going to Canada already know you are not going to pick money on the streets of Canada and if some people choose to work in warehouse or wherever even though they are engineers i think it is a decision they made solely on their own so no need to worry about it. you may work in a warehouse today but who knows tomorrow you may get a better paying job. there is nothing wrong with working in a warehouse if you get paid on time and it allows you to pay all your bills without begging for alms from friends and family and you get to keep your dignity and respect as a man or woman. life is not a bed of roses you will definitely encounter challenges be it America, UK, Canada, Australia or anywhere else. if you are fortunate to come from a well to do family then thank your lucky stars because not everyone is that lucky so please allow anyone who wants to go to Canada to go and i believe the average Nigerian is very hardworking except for some who deceive themselves by thinking there is a short cut to success. it is quite funny how you guys think 200K jobs are just lying around in Nigeria and no one wants to do it.enough of the scary tales by moonlight from Canada because i do not see any of you packing your bags to leave Canada in the name of it is not easy.

@qajape pls can you send me the CIC number that you called i need to call them badly. My verification has been on pending since March.

qajape:
As regards this WES evaluation, it has been going fine in my case until WES requested for verification from my undergraduate school. My school said dey are yet to receive the correspondence. I called WES to complain - that my school is yet to receive its request, they said they tried sending to my undrgrad school's e-mail but the e-mail is bouncing back (though I confirmed that the e-mail is working). I am thinking if I know the content of the letter WES send to undergrad schools, since I have an insider in my undergrad school, I can just tell them to send verification e-mail to WES quoting my reference number and other relevant details. The issue is that I dont know the content of the e-mail they do send and the e-mail dey send with. Anyone has this info?

This is not a joke i mean six weeks after biometrics except his package is as prolific as TEAM12's package and i see it as the average time on this forum. Its my own experience tho may be his might be different.

2grozz:
What!!!!! 6! Weeks? Really you have to be joking sha!
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TALK2FABO: 1:40pm On Jun 26, 2015
Mine took 6 weeks after biometrics and i see 6 weeks as the average following the trend on the forum.

tnuola:
After 6weeks ke? Don't give him a heart attack please. He already did biometrics since may 22.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TALK2FABO: 8:35am On Jun 26, 2015
too early to start getting worried just take a chill pill, you can resume your worries after 6 weeks.

2grozz:
Hi guys.....am new up in ere tho been following preceding threads.two quick questions: did my biometrics may 22 and no word till now. Am I supposed to be worried? Apart from emails and tracking is there any other way to query my status? Thank you guys.....yall doing a wonderful job.

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TALK2FABO: 10:01am On Jun 24, 2015
I think its better you fill it on your computer then you just print out and sign because there is a place to test for completeness and accuracy of what you are filling. My own opinion tho and same approach i adopted.

vinegar:
Tnx guys....how about the questioneer? How do I handle that?....am I printing it and completing it in ink?

TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TALK2FABO: 7:41am On Jun 22, 2015
@heryyy There are some information that you still need to provide for people to give you good answers. Are you are graduate if YES i think you choosing undergraduate course in Canada might be an issue because you are suppose to show academic progression and also if you are a graduate the course your are choosing should be related to what you studied in school or your work experience if you are working.
