You can decide not to travel within that period because visa is just for traveling purpose so just renew your study permit and get your passport renewed also in that period, then you can renew your study permit to 2020 when you have your passport and work on the visa renewal also. You might see anyone else that can show you a better way but this all i can tell you with my knowledge.

AverageNed:
Please can somebody reply me. if i renew my passport. will my visa be cancelled?

You need to create account with WES and make the payment for the service which is about $200 and you will be given like a reference number which you must give to the school to put on the envelope they will send your transcript with. It will be easy for you if you meet someone who has been doing this in the school that is if you are lucky.

jidesam168:
Pls how can I get my transcript evaluated by wes, and how is the payment procedure, pls help me. Thanks

If your school does not require IELTS there is no point writing it except you want to use it for something else. VOs don't use it so you can get your visa without IELTS. Calm down and blow away your worries.

detutu1:
hello house, I have been reading and I have not seen any answer to the situation...the schools i applied to do not require IELTS or any standardized test for that matter....But i read that the score in IELTS adds 'points' to application (google) has anyone tried this and worked? i mean not done IELTS and still got the visa? I downloaded the forms today and there was a place asking if one has written any test?

I am already thinking of how to write it before the year runs out...please advice!

Thanks

Am in Alberta. I think there no much difference in all these schools in respect of their tuition it all depends on the number of courses you are registering for.

Futurewiser:

I no be genius ohhh but that Regina University tuition high sha ohhh $16k. Abeg can you suggest cheaper tuition, I no like Brandon cos the city small so job fit no too dey. Which province do you live?
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by TALK2FABO: 7:53pm On Oct 10, 2015
You can hustle bro but not to be using it to pay school fees man. Only if you want to go against the law and fail in class except you a genius then you can hustle and pay school fees.

Futurewiser:

How is Regina? Is it a good place to hustle? Are there jobs there?

Bro take it easy on these guys they might be new and all what they might need is just a guide. Don't let them feel discouraged asking about what they don't know. My own take tho and no offense.

thesoj:
This question has been answered over and over in previous pages of this thread, even in this short Part 9! Also, the answer is in Form IMM5832E which I believe you will be submitting with your app (assuming paper route). Read read read! Don't be lazy, no offense. The ability to find information will be critical to your success in Canada.

If after reading IMM5832E, you still don't understand, then come back here to ask a more informed question.

Stop repeating the question answered already unless you will be banned by Mods on here! You need to read back to pages 7 through 8 before you'd find the answers! Frankly speaking, people get tired of answering questions already answered! No offense here bro!

Fund available will be rent plus miscellaneous expenses. To be at the safe side take rent to be $1000 and other expenses to be $350 per month then multiply it by the number of months your program will cover.

To my knowledge I don't think it's possible because for your study permit to be valid you need to maintain being a full time student if not the school will report the person to CIC and the next thing is KLM to Lagos. You can get other ppl's view tho.

justicia:
For people in Canny already, is it possible to enter Canny and defer your admission for one semester just because you want to try work and gather some money. I mean off the record work, not the usual 20hrs per week student work. A friend is planing to do that and has asked me for advise. Onyeoma and all my Godfathers for here, over to you o.
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by TALK2FABO: 4:50am On Sep 04, 2015
The $300 is to confirm your seat for the course you will still need to pay your first semester fee probably later.

The other ones will surely help your application but the statement of account you will use must show the money that can pay your total school fees, your accommodation and your other maintenance cost for your period of study. You will do the estimate and convert it to naira for you to know what kind of balance you need in your SOA.

ejirostephen:
Morning my very good peeps. Looking forward to applying to RED RIVER COLLEGE for a 1yr PGD in international business, but i have some major concerns below;

- I was asked to pay application fee of 100cdn and a refundable tuition deposit of 300cdn. Does it mean that after paying this 300cdn, I won't bother again with 1st semester tuition fee until i arrive at the school? (question for experienced person).

- My company will give me a study leave letter stating that my annual emolument (N4.5m) would run on a usual monthly basis during my leave period. I have about N4m in my pensions account and planning to present a personal statement showing a balance of atleast N2m. I am sponsoring myself. Would the combination of the 3 elements above be viewed as positive? Considering the low SOA.

Thanks all in anticipation. Lovely day.

Bros dont take risk of carrying plenty cash as its not safe and you are going to where you have not been before N420 as charges still makes sense than losing your cash and as a matter of fact your cash will be @ black market rate if you are changing it in Naija while master card will use bank rate. Think twice bruv my own candid opinion.

NigerianNewbie:

Wow. That charge na die o. 420 naira for each withdrawal. I think I'll just travel with cash and deposit some in my account just like you suggested. Thanks.
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TALK2FABO: 4:48pm On Jul 13, 2015

I only submitted my fixed deposit certificates and i had just 500k in my account NO SPONSOR(S).

kfrosh:
Good to know. So you mean you never submitted any sponsors financial document whatsoever, please enlighten us.
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TALK2FABO: 3:24pm On Jul 11, 2015
I disagree with you didn't get any sponsor I used my account and I got my trv. Just be sincere with what you are doing VOs know how to get the truth out from ur application.

kfrosh:
No matter the money in your account ; you still have to get a sponsor when applying for Visa. Even Schools always advise this to avoid Visa denial issues .

It sounds unfair tho but it will be of good benefit to the guy. He will gain a lot which will go a long for him in submitting his application. Bros take the pain good things don't come easy.

favour0011:
Awww... that's quite unfair, asking him to read from part 5. @scarr... search for this moniker "richcasey" and read tru his messages. He sends a regular update with links to give you all you need!

It's pretty much allowed but you must touch with full consent sha... Some sharp dudes even apply for white babes and TRV at the same time... And have everything set upon arrival.

I'm not a fan of whites though, I prefer made in Nigeria goods and services to the core.

Do they usually ask for evidence of payment also?

kennykentipsy:

port of entry is where u will be checked in to Canada at the airport u would be asked ur purpose of u coming depending on the immigration officer he might ask u for prove of finances go with few dollars and show him ur sponsors statement of account and show him ur ATM telling him u have cash in ur credit card that u would open a new bank account immediately.
