congrat to him! Happy married life! I initially thought he is Igbo by tribe while I was watching his gospel song on television and youtube. But by his name, Ebodaghe. I now know that he is Ishan from Edo state. It is Ishan ( Esan ) that bears Ebodaghe. This is one of the Papa Chris Oyakhilome children in the Lord. What about Peter Crown and Frank Edwards when are they going to get married? |
This Retired Lt General is not always lucky. Misfortune is always trailing him. He missed being the Head of State when his boss, General Sani Abacha died as he was linked to a fathom coup. He was moved to Rukuba barracks during the cold winter weather in Jos, Plateau state alongside with Major General Abdulkareem Adisa Rtd, Major General Olarewaju Rtd and they were summarily tried by a military tribunals. During the Ikeja bomb explosion Lt General Diya house was also hit by flying explosives. With the return to democracy, Lt. General Diya could not find a place to occupy him as he neither participated or contributed to our democracy. The only little we saw about Lt. General Diya was when he went out of his way to accept a summon by other past Nigerian Head of State and their vice to sings together ( A video which was uploaded into youtube ) Now June, 2017 his house has caught fire again. Why is misfortune always trailing this man. Lucky and good tidings is always missing the tracks of Lt. General Diya

The hardship and frustrations in Nigeria do not seem to near them. By the way, Omoni just lost his father in a road accident. But she just dey smile like yanyakekerere! Omoni Oboli smile cut the picture of a girl that nothing happen to! loosing a dad is supposed to be painful to her! But she just dey flash her teeth like shine! shine! |
I support the views of Obong Victor Attah who said the 36 states should be allowed in its current structure. But rather those so called unviable states that was created in large numbers by the past military government should exist based on their financial strength which means they should run their government even if it means that their governor and the other public officers have to use keke to get to their offices. In the United States, which Obong Victor Attah sighted as a reference point. He said all the governor in all the 51 states in America do not enjoy the same status. The states in america run their budget according to their income. But in Nigeria, a poor state governor in Zamfara state want to buy the cars a governor from Lagos state, Delta state, Akwa Ibom and Rivers state is using for official function. He said things should not be this way and that governors should cut their coat not according to their size as their size could be very big but rather governors should cut their coat according to the size of their material. I support ex-governor Obong Victor Attah of Akwa Ibom state on his views. A second view I support is credited to Mr Josef Omorontionwa a columnist with the Vanguard Newspaper. He said in his "THE HUB" newspaper article that Nigeria should carry out the acquisition and merger process which he said work successfully under Soludo and Sanusi in the banking sectors to address the current challenges facing Nigerian states. He said unavailable or poor states should be merged or acquired by richer states and run for growth and development. Beyond all this issue of restructuring and changes that we all are clamouring for with the exception of a handful of a few others who are against restructuring. I may ask have our political class changed from their wicked ways? It would be recalled it is corruption, massive corruption by the political class that took us to this situation where we are jumping from frying pan to pot to seek sanctuary in our new bride called restructuring. If our political class had behaved themselves responsibly today. Nigeria would have achieve 90-95 per cent growth like the asian tigers of south korea, india, singapore, malaysia. But we are still a begger nation and a consuming nation with only (crude ) oil and gas as our major export. The money comes in our greedy political class loot the money while we remain in poverty year in year out. Restructuring is good and it is a good starting point for us as a nation. But our politician must be tamed by the masses who are the beneficiary of poverty caused by their action. We must strongly demand for good life and good living as it occurs in other great nation like Australia, New Zealand, Uk, Canada, USA etc |
British Justice system is humiliating ex-governor Ibori with a stipend Justice of One British Pound as damage for unlawful detention he suffered for forty two hour. Ibori want more than that from the British but he is disappointed. He mistook Britain for Nigeria where the justice system is so corrupt. A bbc article about Ibori describes him as a petty thief who came to Britain in the 1980 to work in a DIY Stores. Who is James Ibori? James Ibori went from petty thief to Nigerian state governor to convicted money launderer. He came to the UK in the 1980s and worked as a cashier at a DIY store in London. He was convicted in 1991 of stealing from the store but then returned to Nigeria and got involved in politics. When he ran for Delta State governor he lied about his date of birth to hide his UK conviction - which would have prevented him standing for office. He became governor in 1999 and soon began taking money from state coffers. The British police began to take an interest in Ibori again in 2005 after they came across a purchase order for a private jet, made through his solicitor in London. He evaded capture in Nigeria after a mob of supporters attacked police, but was arrested in Dubai in 2010 and was extradited to the UK. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-40012427

News about the sudden death of President Muhammadu Buhari is already circulated all over the internet via twitter. It is strange to see Aisha Buhari involve in humanitarian services when her husband is dead. |

The songs sang by Bob Marley, Lucky Dube and Sonny Okosun of Blessed Memory still lingers on in our mind. Those men where prophetic with their songs as the scene of killing which they sang and stood against is still with us till today. May the Good lord continue to protect us. |
