Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha reportedly gave Ebonyi House of Assembly member, Maria Ude Nwachi, N5.5 million to share within a group, The Igboist, which she manages on Facebook. The group is dedicated to Igbos on the social media platform.

To commemorate his 55th birthday which is on September 22nd, he gave the money for Maria to share to members of the group.Maria made the announcement on her page as well as the criteria to win the money. Some of the comments that followed, however, were very uncomplimentary. While many praised him for gifting such an amount of money, others went as far as describing the money as blood money and asking him to use the money to pay the salaries of the state civil servants he is owing. Football star, Wayne Rooney arrived at Everton's Finch Farm training ground in a chauffeur-driven car following his driving ban for drink-driving.

The Everton striker, who was given a two-year ban from driving yesterday, was pictured in the passenger seat of a Range Rover as he arrived at the club training ground this morning.

Nobody saw this coming. Paul who recently had a set of twins claimed on Instagram that certain people who not happy for him. Peter posted what seemed like a reply. ‘People who can’t stand to see the success of others will never experience their own… ‘


And then Paul took the biggest shot, seemingly at his brother’s wife, saying . ‘Don’t take my silence for granted, only a woman can come where brothers are working in peace and destroy it.’

11. March 2016: The brothers made up and announced that they’re back together

The feud finally came to an end! After Peter’s exclusive interview with NET, the trio (Peter, Paul and Jude) finally reached a compromise and buried the hatchet. The brothers took to their Instagram pages to apologize to their fans and announce their reunion. Six months later, the brothers blessed fans with one of the biggest African records of 2016 – Bank Alert..

The Biafra National Guard (BNG) has reportedly declared they are ready to fight the Nigerian Army to avoid the extinction of The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

This comes days after the Nigerian military declared IPOB a terrorist group following the recent clash in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State.

In a statement submitted to the press, the BNG laughed off the terrorist tag and vowed to fight on until the hope of Biafra is restored.

According to Major Nkuma, the spokesman for the group he tagged the Nigerian government a “big joke” for making such declaration.

The statement read: “Nigerian government can be rest assured of self-defense” because it would “never retreat or surrender till death lift our hands.”

“It did not come as a surprise to Biafra National Guard that Buhari through Nigerian military declared IPOB a terrorist organization.”

"Let us remind Nigerian establishment and Britain that IPOB is not a group or organization- IPOB is the people of Old Eastern region and having declared IPOB a terrorist organization, it implies that every Biafran is a terrorist.”

“It is sad that we found ourselves in a country we are considered species of terror and a country we have no right to ask for self-rule.”

"We the Biafra National Guard believe that the declaration is the end of the road for all Indigenous People of Biafra who have been peacefully clamoring for a referendum.”

“The big question remains; are we going to watch them implement the genocide they just declared? “It is important to clearly state that Biafra National Guard has been in existence for years and was not formed recently as claimed by Nigerian military and it is an independent self-defense group; primarily saddled with the responsibility of defending old Easterners’ as enshrined in 2007 UN charter on the rights of Indigenous People.”
