A woman angry that her husband cheated on her, got revenge by smashing his BMW with a sledgehammer and also threatened to set him on fire.

Dramatic footage shows the scorned woman battering the side of the vehicle after finding out about her partner's alleged affair. She shattered the front and back windscreen of the black car with the weapon then threatened to "burn" her " love-rat " husband of ten years in his trailer.

Holding the weapon, the woman shouted: "I've been married ten year, I've never broke nothing my whole life. I can assure you that no one is going to have you when I'm finished with you.

"I never broke a cup, a plate, in my life."

She referred to her husband as Michael as she hit the windscreen and revealed that he was with the woman on Tuesday night.

She said: "You won't be going home with this car. That's what cost you for your one night.

"I hope to almighty Jesus it was all worth it - every bit of it."

Yeni Kuti, the first daughter late Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo- Kuti has claimed that she still sees her father but in her dreams.

Yeni made the disclosure during a radio talk-show titled, ‘The discourse with Jimi Disu’ on Classic FM 97.3 recently.

According to the former dancer, who pioneered the idea of Felabration, a music festival conceived to celebrate the life and contributions of her father Fela Kuti to the Nigerian society, she said:

“It’s 20 years since my father died, but it doesn’t seem as if he has been gone for so long. I miss him and I still talk to him in my mind. He and other departed members of my family have also appeared to me in my dreams. I don’t know if it is right to say that they appear to me, but I see them in my dreams. I dream of them a lot.”

Yeni also disclosed that several people approached her in the past and claimed they had messages from her father. But she ignored them.

“I believe in life after death. Also, I believe that if my father has a message for me, he will come directly to me and not go through someone I don’t know or like. If anybody tells me that Fela has sent a message to me through him, I would tell him to ask my dad to appear to me directly himself,” she said.

Waying into the high cases of corruption in the country, she urged the Federal Government to consider adopting traditional African medicine (also known as ‘juju’) as a tool to combat corruption, especially in official circles.

Yeni, whose late dad had belief in the potency of ‘juju’, noted that government should use it to administer oaths to elected officials and government appointees, instead of the Holy Bible and the Koran.

“Just as Sophie Oyewole has suggested, let them use it to swear in government officials and we shall see if anybody will continue to steal our money in this country or not. I am sure that if they are made to swear by Ogun or some other fearsome African deity, there will be no more corruption,” she said.

The 56-year-old who came from a deeply Christian background, also revealed that she only attend made church occasionally. “But that is when I am invited to weddings, burial ceremonies or other events,” she added.

Explaining her choice of religion, Yeni corrected the impression that her late father didn't really influence her to believe in the traditional African religion but she on her own embraced it.

“It is not that my father made me embrace it through indoctrination; I learned and I actually believe in it. As a matter of fact, Fela’s arguments in defence of the traditional African religion were enough to convince me.”

Recalling one of her most memorable encounters with her dad, she said: “When I was a young girl and I knew nothing about his dislike for what he often described as ‘foreign religions’ (Christianity and Islam), I used to visit the Braithwaites and accompany them to church on Sundays. When Fela heard of it, he warned me never to use the allowance he gave me for offering in the church. I can’t forget it,” she said.

Fela, an Afrobeat legend, a human rights activist, and political maverick died on the 2nd of August 1997.

Remember the then 2 month old baby, Baby Dauda, who made news on June 18, 2016, after his 17 year old stepmom, Bara’atu Rabiu, cut off his genitals in Niger state? Well the precious little one who has since turned one year old has sadly passed away, after being sick for a brief period of time.

According to the DG of the Child's Right Agency, Barrister Mariam Kolo, on Wednesday, the precious little boy was sick with malaria for a couple of days. She said the doctors did all they could to keep him alive and well, but nothing worked and he sadly passed away.

She added that they had been preparing him for a genital transplant in the UK before he fell ill and expressed profund sadness. Adding that what was meant to be .

She said the sickness was not a relapse of is genitals being cut off because he was doing well after having gone through several corrective surgeries.

Kolo also added that appropriate action is being put in place to ensure the speedy determination of the case against the stepmom who is currently being remanded in the Old Minna Prison.

She said that the state Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello and his wife are devastated by the paasing of the precious little one because they had hoped that they could have contributed in making his life a meaningful one after the UK surgery.

Actress Tonto Dikeh whose marriage to Olakunle Churchill crashed a few months ago has revealed that she is still open to love and will remarry once she finds true love.

Speaking to Premium Times, Tonto Dikeh said that she is a very private person and that no

one truly knows her.

The hand of 15-year-old girl, Safiya Abbas, pictured above, may be amputated soon after she sustained serious injuries during a science practical in her school, Science Secondary School Miga in Taraba state, recently.

According to Rariya, chemicals poured on Safiya's hand during a science practical in her school. The school management tried to manage the situation for two days and when there was no improvement, they contacted the girl's parents who took her to the state hospital. After carrying out some tests, the doctors said the only remedy available now is to amputate her hand.

About 1 in 90 girls in an isolated Caribbean village become male and grow joysticks when they hit puberty due to a rare genetic disorder.

Children born in Salinas in Dominican Republic make the transition by the time they reach 12. The condition is so common there that it is no longer considered abnormal. The children who transition are simply referred to as the "guevedoces" – which literally translates as "penis at 12"

BBC2 series, Countdown to Life - the Extraordinary Making of You, explored the lives of these children known as pseudohermaphrodite. One of such kids featured in the documentary is Johnny. Johnny appeared female at birth and was named Felicitia. He had no penis and as such was raised as a girl. However, when he clocked 7 he began to transform into a male with his penis eventually growing out. Now 24, Johnny is physically and biologically male.


He said: "I remember I used to wear a little red dress. I was born at home instead of in a hospital. They didn't know what sex I was. I went to school and I used to wear my skirt. I never liked to dress as a girl. When they bought me girls toys I never bothered playing with them. All I wanted to do was play with the boys."

The rare genetic disorder is caused by a missing enzyme which prevents the production of a type of male sex hormone - dihydro-testosterone - in the womb. All babies in the womb, whether male or female, have internal glands known as gonads and a small bump between their legs called a tubercle. At around eight weeks old, male babies who carry the Y chromosome start to produce dihydro-testosterone in large amounts - this turns the tubercle into a penis. For females, it becomes a clitoris.

But some male babies are missing the enzyme 5-α-reductase which triggers the hormone surge. This means they appear to be born female with no testes and what looks very much like a vagina. Then when puberty hits, a large surge of testosterone is triggers the male reproductive organs to grow. This causes their voices to deepen and the development of a penis. Essentially, the development that should have taken place in the womb with these children happens around 12 years later.

Nigerian rapper Vico has threatened to drop a diss track that will surprise Don Jazzy if the Mavin record boss does not agree to work with him.

Vico, who has been away from the music scene for a while, tweeted at Don Jazzy yesterday, telling him he's a big fan and will like to work with him. He gave him a one-week ultimatum to reply his tweet otherwise there will do a diss track targeted at the record producer.



So far, Don Jazzy is yet to reply and Vico is counting down already. Six days left. What will it be - a collabo between both of them or a diss track? Time will tell.
