Nice thread, I like it. Being introverted for me has a lot to do with how I gather energy. You might be introverted if you’re energized by solo time and feel drained after prolonged social interactions. PROLONGED being the key word here because many will generalize that Introverts have social anxiety. Sure, some introverted people could also have social anxiety. But with a combination of personality traits, like conscientiousness for example rather than introversion alone that's not the case for all. Introversion itself isn’t a measurable personality trait, as such. Rather, it is low levels of extroversion and being an introvert for me has a lot to do with my upbringing not just my personality traits...it was quite a childhood. So I enjoy the ambiance of a quiet place with a pen and paper or a notepad, I guess this is because I'm a writer. But generally i prefer a close circle of friends to a crowd, I prefer to know people on a deeper level, I have a hard time with conflict/disagreement/argument, I'm a deep thinker...I overthink everything . I prefer writing over talking, writing out my thoughts comes naturally and Introversion like other aspects of personality can be a gene thing and environmental(Parenting style &
Life experiences especially childhood). For me the greatest misconception I've had about my personality is that I'm shy person because I'm an introvert and that Introverts have a boring life. If it's boring to the introvert, it's only because you're not doing what you find interesting and enjoyable. Therefore, expose yourself to a variety of new things that catches your fancy simple. I've had a conversation with someone before and he said I'm extremely introverted with some reasons he gave I was worried. Find a balance at all times,too much of everything is bad really

Record breakers do not need any monetary compensation from Guinness. If the records are worthwhile, like Hilda's, you will get endorsements, gifts, contracts etc, you will hardly be denied Visa to any country of the world. I foresee celebrities, government, companies etc throwing dangerous money at this lady and giving her crazy blank check cooking contracts aftwards. She is made already.

Note that stupid records like highest numbers of hugs in one minute or longest hours of kiss and other rubbish records will only attract paper certificate and nothing more from the public.

Let it also be noteworthy that Hilda's records are the best to come out of Nigeria if she eventually breaks it (I fear that she might collapse before breaking it sha). This feat is far greater than the longest hours of dance by Kaffy.

Exactly my point. The global recognition will bring a lot of endorsements and contracts from brands in Nigeria and Africa...even outside Africa, it's possible. A lot of brands are watching thanks to the publicity she's getting, a few are already sponsors so that does count for smth. Making the most of the fame is key and I hope she has strategy in place, coz that's where the money comes in.

So quick question, do you (or anyone else here) know the previous record holder was? What endorsements they got? And how it helped them bloom in their career?

Honestly I don't. I had to Google that earlier but I just feel with the support she's getting and publicity it will be good for her career. Personally it would have been best if the record breaking thing has has monetary reward though.

I've searched online and I doubt if they get paid. It's basically for the global fame and that can bring endorsements.
