Politics / Re: Why I Will Never Vote For Sowore And Co. In Any Election. by talkeverytime: 10:20am On Feb 15, 2019 |
Ugwuoke347: Simple question: Can any of these candidates win? If you are honest, your answer is No Do they know they cannot win? Simple answer : Yes Okay, you say it's completely out of question If they are really honest about booting out this current ineffective government and they know that their votes would only cause a split to Atiku's vote. Why should one allow his dreams (which he knows he can't achive yet) affect the next 4 years of Nigeria (by helping Buhari win). The best thing for them is to strength their structures first and come back when they built enough strength, right now they don't have strong enough structures to win governorship elections yet sef. |
Politics / Why I Will Never Vote For Sowore And Co. In Any Election. by talkeverytime: 8:44am On Feb 15, 2019 |
This thought has been on my mind for a long time and I've been watching to see what the likes of Sowore, Fela, Donald Duke, Kingsley will do as the election approaches. It still surprises me that these men are still in the race (correct me if any one has stepped down). I doubt if their goal is to really make Nigeria better as they claim. These guys are selfish and only aim at promoting themselves (forget their selfish cry about promoting a youthful government). Right now it is obvious and even the blind can see that none of this people can win the election but they're still bent on running? Why? Simple reason is they are working for Buhari through their selfishness (whether consciously or unconsciously). Atiku's supporters are made up of a large number of business folks and well exposed people while Buhari has some of this people, a lot of "unexposed" people especially northerners and some tribalistic/religious folks. This unexposed & tribalistic ones are supporting Buhari not because he performed to their taste but because they see him as a man of "Integrity", APC has painted Atiku in a bad light and they see him as a criminal who wants to come and steal "their Nigeria's money", they are yet to understand or grab that Atiku CANNOT be labelled rightfully as a criminal until the allegations against him are proven which over the years have not been proven. This same set of people who support Buhari are rigid and unwavering and THEY DO NOT EVEN KNOW who Sowore, Fela, Kingsley and others are. I'm serving in a rural area and when I mention Sowore or Kingsley there, they don't even know if Sowore is a name of a person or type of food. The only ones who knows these other candidates are the well exposed ones who want a change (and are naturally suppose to support Atiku). So what is Sowore, Fela etc. doing? They are simply splitting the votes that is supposed to go for Atiku/Obi. These candidates are very intelligent young people and they have brains enough to see that they don't stand a chance in the election, they still insist on being in the race. If these people really want a change in government, they would step down and support the only man that can take away this government - Atiku. But for their selfish reasons, they're still there. I even read the news recently where Donald Duke and his party was still fighting about his candidacy I'm like . This dude knows he can't win and he's disturbing himself so much? Fela has also seen the signs and he tried to seek for a merger but he didn't get (even the merger couldn't have made much Impact). Though knows he can't win, he's still contesting to split the votes that will go for Atiku. Sowore too is intelligent enough to know that he CANNOT win yet, he cannot even win the governorship election in his home state yet. I have come to the conclusion that these guys don't mean well if they can't join hands to boot out the current ineffective government. Simple reason is that they are working for Buhari/APC but God pass them. God has heard the cry of Nigerians and will not let us make the same mistake we made 4 years ago. A larger percentage of the masses are now atikulating seriously. 1 Like |

I would study literature or go into theatre arts. Now I'm in my finals as a civil engineering student. I'm not doing bad, I'm one of the bests in the class. It's just that I realized that i'll feel more fulfilled doing arts. Its a pity that during secondary school days, I thought science was for me because I was top in my class. It's a pity people still believe that their intelligent kids should study science 23 Likes |

Hello please, I noticed an unusual increase in my adsense earnings since yesterday but the confusing part is that there is no unusual increase in number of clicks or CTR. The increase in earnings comes from the views which I don't understand. Please check the screenshots to understand better. The first picture is the overview

Religion / Re: 6 Reasons You Need A Pastor In Your Life by talkeverytime: 4:06pm On Nov 05, 2017 |
Funny, how a lot of folks think though. Well I mentioned it in the first paragraph, they see us who "have Pastors" weak or unable to think rightly. I've said the truth whether you agree or not 1 Like |
Religion / 6 Reasons You Need A Pastor In Your Life by talkeverytime: 7:35am On Nov 05, 2017 |
In today's world where there is lack of respect for spiritual authority and so much bad talks and accusation about men of God, people find it difficult to refer to a particular person as their pastor or man of God probably for the fear of being deceived or duped by the Pastor or being seen as a weak fellow for having "a Pastor". It should be noted that for the case of this discussion, the word Pastor is used as a generic word for the five fold ministry (Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Pastors and Evangelists). Now, I've heard a lot of people say things like "I don't need a Pastor to tell me what God says", "I can read the Bible for myself", "God can talk to me anywhere and anytime, I don't need any MOG". Some have even gone as far as labeling all Pastors entrepreneurs and fraudsters. The question I will like to ask you is why did God give us these ministry gifts if we do not need them? In Ephesians 4 verse 11, the Bible says ; "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers" KJV So did God just give us these gifts that we do not need? No, we need them obviously and that's why he gave them to us. He told us the reason for giving them in the following verses. Ephesians 4 verse 12 - 14 "[12] For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: [13] Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ [14]That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; " KJV I'm going to break down these reasons simpler for you to understand. You need a "Pastor" to teach you. I've explained that I'm using the word Pastor for the five fold ministry in this article, so I believe it shouldn't be a problem anymore. Now you may say you can read the Bible and learn for yourself, I agree with you. In fact, you should read the Bible and know the word for yourself. But that doesn't replace the part of the Pastors, they are specially ordained by God for this purpose and there is an anointing upon their lives to carry it out. You need someone to monitor your growth. Yes, you do. Even though not all Pastors perform this properly but it's part of their job. They act like fathers to see to your well-being, your spiritual well-being particularly. Your spiritual well-being controls the physical, so once you perfect it there, you'll perfect it in other areas. So the Pastor watches you grow spiritually and detects when you're not making progress like you should do. For correction . This supports the point above. Your Pastor is there to correct you when you miss it. Once he detects that you're doing the wrong thing or not doing something right, he comes in. You need a Pastor to inspire and motivate you. You can say this is the work of a motivational speaker. Calm down. What I mean is you need someone to inspire you to do the things of God and to grow spiritually. That is what the Pastor should do with his teaching and his lifestyle. You need a Spiritual Head to guide you. There are just sometimes we need guidance. Yes, we have the HolySpirit to guide and direct us. But remember, one of the end reasons God gave us these five fold ministry is that "we should not be tossed to and fro" . It means these offices are required to keep us in a straight path. And you also need someone that represents you on the altar. You should not just pay your tithes to anyone and everyone. Take it to the Church (the church you attend; that is you must have a particular church) and give it in your church, that's where the blessing lies. To protect you Yes, your Pastor "keeps" you, through prayers, his word and prophecy over your life and his teachings. The fourteenth verse of Ephesians 11 suggests that Christians can be deceived by the cunning craftiness of men. This five fold ministry helps to prevent that and protect you. So prayerfully seek for a church and join. Follow the leader attentively, it may be a Pastor, Prophet, Teacher, Apostle or Evangelist. They are all ordained for us. This is where I'll stop for today. Please feel free to agree or disagree. Drop your comments Source: http://www.talkeverytime.com/2017/09/6-reasons-you-need-pastor-in-your-life.html 10 Likes 1 Share

Wrong Question. All in a bid to make front page with this tithing issue. Your question should be "Should A Christian Gamble". Tithing on gambling gain here is not the problem but your addiction to gambling is what you should find a solution to. If you stop gambling, then you won't be asking this silly question. OtemSapien:Ogbeni, keep lying to yourself o. So you think you're blessed because you stopped tithing, okay, Wehdone sir. 1 Like |
