PoliticsRe: When Did Using A Phone In A Military Checkpoint Become An Offence. by talktimi(m): 10:52am On Dec 29, 2013
Jakumo: Obviously sir you did not catch on that I was making a JOKE with my suggestion that an UN-armed CIVILIAN should try and commit an act of violence against an ARMED soldier. My intent was to point out the foolhardy absurdity of even questioning ANYTHING an armed man would order one to do, in ANY context.

All the same, if it pleases you to imagine that anyone could seriously suggest confronting an armed soldier at a checkpoint, by all means indulge yourself ha ha.
you shouldn't have wasted your time replying the slow kid.
PoliticsRe: Unknown 'Drone' Crashes In Ibadan (Pictures) by talktimi(m): 8:13am On Dec 29, 2013
Jakumo: If the quad-copter shown in the picture above IS the object that crashed through the roof in Ibadan Nigeria, then it was most certainly NOT launched from Texas, but from somewhere less than ONE mile from the crash site.

That is NOT a military "drone" but a hobbyist quad-copter with very limited range, that is available to anyone with $350 to spend, from numerous internet websites. Somewhere in Ibadan there is a hobbyist who has lost his aerial photography toy, and that is all there is to this story.

US drones that are designated for long-range operations are ALL fixed-wing airplanes, and NOT helicopter derivatives like the Walkera Model QRX350 shown in the above picture, which, by the way, looks suspiciously un-damaged, in the aftermath of a purported crash.
I honestly cant believe some people actually fell for this sh1t story even after it became clear the journalist involved was obviously trying to sensationalise a weak argument (all the way from Texas REALLY ?) Deductive reasoning is obviously becoming a lost skill. Ps check out almost similar product codes between the crashed object and the one he saw online and yet he still had no clue
PoliticsRe: When Did Using A Phone In A Military Checkpoint Become An Offence. by talktimi(m): 1:00pm On Dec 28, 2013
Its generally not allowed to make calls near military check points in Nigeria sha o or walk on the same lane with their post. I guess it has to be for their security.

PoliticsRe: "Presidency's Vicious Exchange With Obasanjo Crosses Threshold Of Decency- APC by talktimi(m): 8:42am On Dec 28, 2013
DR PYGRU: ''......reminded the President that while critics can afford to fire all sorts of darts at him, as the custodian of the presidency at this point in time, he cannot afford to respond in kind because, in doing so, he would be debasing the presidency as an institution,''APC said

”We are therefore compelled to call on President Jonathan to urgently address these allegations, which have already sent jitters down the spines of Nigerians, especially those who hold views that are diametrically opposed to the administration’s. The allegations cannot and must not be swept under the carpet, otherwise Nigerians will know who to hold responsible if perceived opponents of the administration come to any harm,” APC said.

PoliticsRe: All States Apart From Lagos Are Incapable Of Confederal Existence by talktimi(m): 5:44am On Dec 28, 2013
I believe some of these states have no business being on this list if not for corruption in over bloated contract sums for example and padding of wage bills (how can a state like Bayelsa justify paying 40+ billion in wages when its civil service isnt that big ?)

My short response is that , what you call popular opinion was actually the story (which was a lie) that Obasanjo used to deceive the nation.
Dumb mods. Quite an interesting angle to the whole story, I'll have to do more research on this topic. Thanks bro (could do with some more info sha)

PoliticsRe: Why Fg Doesn't Trust Amechi's Water Project by talktimi(m): 2:50pm On Dec 27, 2013
I have been asking these very same questions for a while now but people who cant point out a map of Rivers state even if its pasted on their heads seem to observe his "developmental strides" more than those on ground here. I ask again, why wasnt part of the monorail money used to revive at least the Rumuola water works ?

PoliticsRe: More Govs. Set To Dump Amaechi by talktimi(m): 7:29am On Dec 27, 2013
kel4soft: IMO, Amaechi has nothing to lose as a politician even he is remove or he fails to install a successor. Reasons been that bar, Saraki and Sambo, I don't think we have former Governors dictating for their successors how to run their governments. Just take a look at our present states Governors, they are in one fight or the other with their predecessors. Enugu, Akwa Ibom Bauchi, Gombe etc comes to mind.

I brought the above just make a point, that not influencing a successor doesn't make you gone into political oblivion. I think, this is Amaechi's tenure, he knows his state more than the writer of this article (not the OP of the thread).

In conclusion, Amaechi arrogant nature helped the state in moving her from a stale state. A true Rivers man cannot deny how he has reposition the state for a better tomorrow.

Whoever succeeds him, will have little to do to transform the state to what we all needed.

Amaechi might be a traitor, arrogant, selfish man now, but I believe tomorrow when he is out of power, we will now understand if truly he fought for his pocket.
are you from/work in or based in Rivers state ? If you were talking about his first tenure then no wahala but this 2nd tenure has most of his "developmental" projects based in his mouth. Once again I ask, where is the mega hospital project he entered into with clinotech of Canada of which he took 150 million dollars loan ? How come he still finds it VERY difficult to finish phase 1a of the monorail project of which he took 318 million dollars loan ? Is the monorail project more important than providing water for ph residents of which just a part of that money could have gone a long way in reviving the mile 1 and Rumuola water works ? This is a season of "body language" ask Fashola if he doesnt think Amaechi is a yeye talker. I support him when he does things to be commended about but nowadays, he seems to spend more time goofing.
PoliticsRe: More Govs. Set To Dump Amaechi by talktimi(m): 7:12am On Dec 27, 2013
cramjones: With the support of Yoruba leaders such as Femi Fani Kayode and other APC leaders, Amaechi will soar. I am with him all the way!

biafranqueen: Ask him oo all this victim story is too hide his stolen loot angry
I always refer to that scam artist as an attention seeking prima dona, ever since his 2nd tenure began, Rivers state has been experiencing go slow development wise meanwhile the so called monorail is just at phase 1a which is VERY strollable

Amaechi pls what happened to the 150 million dollars mega specialist hospital you entered into with clinotech of Canada, abi you think say we don forget ? Oga the 318 million dollars loan you took for elephantiasis monorail nko ? Youre talking about Soku oil wells forgetting that you lost the case at the high court, skipped the appeal court and took Bayelsa state govt straight to the Supreme court, pls oga bear the consequences. But honestly why was there 0 allocation for water in the Rivers state 2013 budget ?

pls ask me if i have time for una yeye APC governors first.
PoliticsRe: Did He Really Say These Things?; Ameachi's Statements At APC Rally by talktimi(m): 3:45pm On Dec 25, 2013
Amaechi has always been a yeye talker which belittles his exalted position as a governor though he says his mind but as someone in a public position, he should learn to spice his words so as to pass his message while still being politically correct (too late). I remember a couple of months back he spoke at an event in Ekiti state when he suddenly started his notorious ramblings, Fashola was on stage near him & the condescending look Fashola gave him made me to be ashamed of Amaechi. There has to be a difference between a thug and an office holder at all times.

PoliticsRe: 2015: Buhari Must Become APC Presidential Candidate, Says Yerima by talktimi(m): 10:42am On Dec 25, 2013
Gbawe: Different folks. You are talking about Ahmed Sani Yerima. This is Haruna Yerima.

@Topic.

Ignoring the arrogance and uncompromising insistence of Yerima, I also think it should be Buhari. Nigeria is now a cesspit of hideous corruption thanks to the PDP's way of doing things. For so many reasons, Nigeria now urgently needs someone like Buhari. No more messing around with 'throwbacks' and aberrant leaders the entire world, without hesitation and with total disdain, now openly criticizes for hideous corruption and gross misrule.
yet the APC is going round on their knees begging these "throwbacks & aberrant" leaders to join their fold. Where's the honor in consistency ?
