PoliticsRe: If Satan Criticizes PDP, APC Will Accept Him As Progressive by talktimi(m): 10:41am On Nov 09, 2013
Lady Excellency: Their interest, their pocket. A manifestation of obdurate hypocrisy.

They usually pay up for cover up and also heats up the polity to divert attention.

The malice in them have eaten them so much to using verbal and media attack against the "Fisherman" and to deceiving the most venerable sit at home undergraduates having politically interfered in ASUU- FG negotiations.
you summed it all up with the word "HYPOCRISY" which is their stock in trade and badge of honor.

X-factoria:
You forgot to list Adeyemi IkuforijiGATE!!!
our in house anti corruption crusaders have tactically been avoiding this issue about the Lagos HoA speaker. It still baffles me the level of double speaking and goal post shifting inherent in the APC and it is obvious they want Nigerians to accept the fact that they have the sole right to commit corruption no questions asked nor answers given. An alternative to the PDP has to emerge but its certainly not the APC

PoliticsRe: How Buhari Can Become The Next President Of Niigeria by talktimi(m): 9:07am On Nov 09, 2013
According to the op, Buhari can only become president of Nigeria "if he is smart enough" which implies that right now Buhari is daft. I didnt say so o, na op talk am. Anyways, Buhari isnt going to become president anytime soon since the APC is busy shopping for "Credible & marketable" candidates amongst the evil, corruption infested PDP. Ok
PoliticsRe: Waiting For Implosion Of APC by talktimi(m): 8:56am On Nov 09, 2013
Hilarious but accurate assessment by the author. Why bother with evil, corrupt fellows you've always been castigating except the APC is trying to tell us that their much vaunted holiness has always been a smoke screen (which is very possible). Dont ever doubt Buhari dishing out selective judgements on corruption since he has precedence in that department right from his tenure as a military dictator (thats if he should ever win the presidency)

BluIvy: So they should not deport the Nigerians who are staying in their country illegally? You must be on something. Botswana dared you on your altimatums nothing came out of them. I say I india must deport those who are in their country illegally.
nna free me jare, we're talking of mob action killings against Nigerians with govt backing in India and youre here speaking grammer. Arrest or deport criminals, dont kill them or flog them extra judicially. Why are many Nigerians so base sef ?
PoliticsRe: Imo APC Disowns Okorocha by talktimi(m): 10:04pm On Nov 07, 2013
Okorocha cant take any "bold step" yet. The moment he officially registers as an APC member, he'll have to vacate his seat as governor since he got into office through APGA's ticket. Ask him if im lying

PoliticsRe: Fashola Borrows 87 Billion To Buy Lekki Toll Road Plus by talktimi(m): 6:23pm On Nov 07, 2013
So any non APC governor is automatically a "village governor" according to some semi wise people. But how come Tinubu and the gang are going round the country begging village governors to come and join them ? It seems village people are the ish.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Warns India Of "Repercussions" Over Goa Face-Off by talktimi(m): 3:32pm On Nov 07, 2013
There's no need to shout too much in this kind of case, for every 10 Nigerians deported, lets deport a hundred Indians. They should ask South Africa how we shook them up over the yellow card beef.

NO LONG TIN: Have you gotten over your obsession with GEJ and PDP?

You rush to threads saying anything against GEJ insulting and abusing but when someone else does the same against ur beloved party(ACN/APC) or Tinubu (who can do no wrong in your eyes), you label the person obsessed and ' indoctrinated busybody'

He talks about fraud in Lagos and you hush him, telling him to mind his business (busybody) .

For your mind now there is no Fraud in Lagos and even if there is, it should not be talked about

Tinubu can do no wrong!

MR. Progressive!!
i cant be deceived by such a yeye "progressive"

HealthRe: Deceased’s Relations Beat-up Nurse, For Administering "Wrong Medication" by talktimi(m): 5:32am On Nov 07, 2013
ceaser: You're obviously very ignorant, even a pharmacist that knows his onions will agree with me. Pray tell, why does drug commercials always say "if symptoms do not abate in 2 days, pls consult your physician" or why do drug dispensary manuals always have the caveat "prescription is subject to the physician's decision" on the first pages? Oh, I get it. To you, a physician is also a pharmacist, right? Carry on, smart boy!

Unfortunately as true as Nigerian universities have now become glorified high schools even with the efficient manpower it has, all because of decrepit structures, obsolete equipments resulting from government neglect over time. Majority in this thread will agree to this, including the poster that claimed a doctor refused admission due to LACK of bed - mind you if the patient had been admitted on the floor by the doctor (an apparently inhumane and unsightly state for a human being) - this same poster would have still come to this forum and accuse the doctor of being wicked enough to "admit his patient on the floor". Someone who'll also agree is the dude who claimed his patient was referred to another private hospital due to lack of beds in the public hospital - even though he has the privilege that the pregnant woman did not have of being directed to an alternative place of assured clinical expertise - a "concerned and humane" handling that still did not stop him from hurling insults at these people. However I can guarantee you that if the health workers were to declare strike in that sector in a bid to force the government to upgrade public hospital facilities for the sake of all the accusers on this forum, you can be assured that within 24hrs of the strike, the pummelling and blows from the "accusers" will turn to be directed towards the doctors, nurses, and other members of the health team. It's then you'll start to hear mantras like "they're just acting like they're gods", "they too like money", "they should go back to managing the few equipments they have joor, afterall they're trained to save lives". And your government, knowing how nigerians are wired, and capitalising on those, not-well-thought-out, sentiment and hatred-driven mantras, will take it from there and start their own trademark mantra of "Please think of your patients and get back to work". But never, never will they talk about addressing the problems that warranted the strike in the first place. The decay and the decrepitude therefore continues.

Meanwhile, all I've seen here are people waiting for the slightest chance to hurl stones at the doctors and the nurses akin to what those relatives did, however unjustified such actions may be. They have never really paused to think of those who have lost their lives in the line of duty, people like doctors, nurses and lab scientists that lost their lives when they contracted lassa virus from treating patients during the last outbreak, people like the doctor who in the line of duty was killed by insurgents in the north few months ago, or is it the hundreds living with, or dying from infections like HIV, hepatitis contracted from caring the patients under their care. I just can't make out why some Nigerians passionately hate and vilify these guys so much.
i wasnt angry because the dr refused to admit the lady on the hospital floor, i was only angry because the dr refused to offer any form of first aid to stabilize her at least bearing in mind she was at an advanced state of pregnancy. You know very well that many of our medical practitioners have behaviors bothering on demonic at best while there are obviously the very humane ones. I have witnessed a situation where a man brought his son to a private clinic in a critical condition at night, the nurses assured the man that the dr would soon arrive to commence treatment etc not even paracetamol was given to the boy to stabilize his temperature by the nurses with the dr not even coming till day break by which time the angry father had decided he was tired with that nonsense situation and had to pass his son over a fence as the nurses demanded 27k from him for doing absolutely nothing. The dr had to hide his face in shame when he saw the commotion by the time he arrived the question being what if the boy died at night ?
HealthRe: Deceased’s Relations Beat-up Nurse, For Administering "Wrong Medication" by talktimi(m):
Tommybob: if not for the incapability of the Nigeria Health sector.... I dont see any reason why a nurse shoud do with drug, they are suppose to take permission from a pharm even before giving a patient injection.... A doctor is suppose to specialise in his own aspect.... 60% of the patients today are suppose to visit a consulting pharm not a doctor... Only those with complicated issue may be reffered to a doctor i.e those that might require operation... But in Nigeria today... The doctors and Nurse are trying to be smart by playing a role of a pharmacist which is very vey bad..... Well, i just pray everything work out well very soon...
i dont see any reason why a nurse should tell patients relatives to go for drugs when they should be at hand at all times.
HealthRe: Deceased’s Relations Beat-up Nurse, For Administering "Wrong Medication" by talktimi(m): 11:01pm On Nov 06, 2013
Tommybob: why wont they administer wrong drugs, when they are taking up the job of a pharm? Smh for them.... This is just the beginning.... Let the pharm do their job..
Unfortunately, Nigerian hospitals are now a sham (mostly) though there are some pretty good doctors & nurses

thorpido: Hmmmm.I find this hard to believe. Are u sure this was what really transpired?
It's possible for a hospital to reject a patient. There are some patients brought in as bad cases and some hospitals will not accept.
i wont gain anything by lying. This is a family i knw very well since i and the brother are close
HealthRe: Deceased’s Relations Beat-up Nurse, For Administering "Wrong Medication" by talktimi(m): 9:43pm On Nov 06, 2013
Some years back, a friend of mine's pregnant elder sister suddenly had a violent fit of cough at night so her mother had to rush her to the hospital (BMH port harcourt). When they got there, the dr on duty calmly walked past them saying there's "no bed" the mother was pleading that she would lay a wrapper on the floor but that the dr should pls administer first aid. The dr scornfully refused, walked to her car and drove off at that mid night and without administering first aid. The mother managed to bring her home that night with the intention of taking her to UPTH or any private clinic by day break but the lady died before 6am just because a dr refused to attend to her.
PoliticsRe: If Satan Criticizes PDP, APC Will Accept Him As Progressive by talktimi(m): 7:32pm On Nov 06, 2013
Afam4eva: This has always been my grouse with APC. I remember how Gbawe was celebrating the fact that the much hated IBB said something good about APC and suddenly what comes from IBB's mouth becomes gospel. This is the hypocrisy that is APC. Apart from that, i don't have any problem with them. They use a different rule to judge PDP and a seperate one from themselves. They should learn to look into the mirror every once in a while before critiquing others.
you see, that has always been my problem with the APC. Their supreme ability to shift goal posts & turn coats. Without the apc saying it we all know these pdp governors are rogues but immediately they switch parties, all sins are forgiven and all previously stolen monies are gone forever. Funny enough, even saint Buhari seems not to have a problem with this consistent scenario. Silly rabbits
HealthRe: Deceased’s Relations Beat-up Nurse, For Administering "Wrong Medication" by talktimi(m): 4:27pm On Nov 06, 2013
Afam4eva: Can they prove that it was the injection administered by the Nurse that killed the woman. If they were that good they should have kept her at home and treated her themselves. I see nothing wrong in relations being angry following the death of their family member but it's preposterous for them to want to kill a nurse for something they can't prove.
im not saying that the nurse is guilty or not though obviously the fault here comes from the deceased and her family but what i was just trying to emphasise is that Nigerian doctors have been known to administer wrong treatments on patients leading to fatalities even as at now, an elderly aunt of mine is outside this country for skin grafting due to a long mis diagnoses of her ailment for a very long time by Nigerian doctors here in Lagos, it was my cousin who is a doctor based in Germany who just saw a photograph of her ravaged skin via email and correctly diagnosed a bone infection which was triggered and started eating her flesh, my younger brother died after being given a wrong injection by a nurse when he was still little. Nigerian doctors really need to go back to school and read all over again especially the younger generation.
PoliticsRe: Osun Airport ’ll Have Longest Runway In Nigeria’ by talktimi(m): 3:53pm On Nov 06, 2013
Lets get one thing straight, building an airport isnt bad what i usually have a problem with is their proximity to each other eg the proposed int airport for Bayelsa state which is just a few minutes drive from the Ph international in Omagwa Rivers state. It just doesnt make sense at all, what i believe these governors should do is to fight/lobby for railway concessions that can be under the purview of the states through regional integration like the D.A.W.N in the SW. The states should be encouraged to build integrated high speed rail networks even if its regionally at first and especially through private sector initiatives. The railway is such a broad sector to be left to the fg alone. This will also but down drastically the price of goods haulage even by far lower than air fares.
PoliticsRe: Osun Airport ’ll Have Longest Runway In Nigeria’ by talktimi(m): 11:31am On Nov 06, 2013
Let me play the devils advocate here. Longest runway is nice but what happens to the Ibadan, Akure & Ilorin airports which are in such close proximity but grossly under utilized ?

you know as well as anybody, its not everything that happens that makes the news. Ask yourself how a neophyte like Gej became running mate to Yar'Adua when a confirmed gladiator in Odili was angling for that position. There are things that just wont be said after being settled "amicably"

am i to reply you in this same gutter manner ? You saw whr i wrote i dont believe in jungle justice and when i say there is precedence im not mincing words except you can prove that no doctor or nurse in Nigeria has killed a patient due to inaccurate diagnosis or drugs/treatments. I speak out of first hand experience here even up to now so keep your insults in your back pocket

some people indulge in vices doesnt mean you should do the same. Give valid arguments or explain your points lucidly without blaspheming.

kingoflag: OP, earlier today Nigerian Senate said they don't know how N500Billion that GEJ claimed to save from subsidy disappeared in less than 6 months. Plus another $1Billion missing from Sure-P that Gej also set up. Thats what we should be talking about, not this rubbish you've set up to distract the populace with.
there are threads focussing on those topics already so make your comments there or ignore this one altogether if you've got no meaningful contribution for this one

When the late Yar ' Adua via efcc wanted to have Nyesom Wike arrested for corruption, Amaechi swore by amadioha that Wike was clean and defended him like voltron against being arrested. Now i guess he is regretting that decision. Ps hope Amaechi also remembers the billions Obj seized from him in raw cash at abuja ? Dont throw stones in glass houses or market squares o
