Now let's take the subsidy scam you cited. Farouk probe covered 2009-2011. Yaradua was president in 2009 and not GEJ.
President Jonathan came into office in 2010. Therefore the period under review covered a year under Yaradua and two under GEJ.
It is therefore illogical to blame GEJ for every fraud that occurred under this period.

Secondly, Farouk report revealed that NNPC could not account for 300B on kerosene Subsidy, 387 billion on fuel subsidy(PPPRA) while oil marketers and trader companies could not account for about 800B. NOTE. The report didn't indict Jonathan nor Diezani but PPRA/NNPC/OIL MAKETERS for subsidy fraud. We understand the duo of Jonathan and Diezani should share liability because the buck stops at their tables but to accuse them of stealing the 1.6 Trillion in the face of this Farouk report is wicked.


Thirdly, even GEJ himself acknowledges the endemic fraud in subsidy regime hence his resolve to stop subsidy in 2012 but the same cabal sponsored protests to frustrate that move.

Fourthly, even when Farouk probe report ran into troubled waters, GEJ pursued vigorously the completion of the AIG IMOUKEHEDE led subsidy investigation comittee report and began implementation by forwarding the report to EFCC for investigation and prosecution. That marked the first time in our history where people are charged for oil corruption in Nigeria


Today, many people are undergoing various degrees of trials by EFCC at various courts for subsidy. It's unprecedented in the fight against corruption in the oil and gas sector.

Take subsidy issue for instance. President Jonathan himself initiated the moves to stop subsidy so as stop massive corruption that has characterized its management for ages. This move was misunderstood and protests sponsored by the very cabal who feed fat on Petroluem subsidies.Eventually, they(cabal) had their way.

it is only a sincere president with a motive to fight corruption that will take concrete steps to end the subsidy regime. Even when that bid partially failed, President Jonathan rose to the occasion and probed those involved through the IMOUKEHEDE committee. He did not stop at mere setting up committees, he took it a notch higher by prosecuting all those indicted in the report. He is the first president to do so in Nigeria and we urge the judiciary to expedite trial on all oil subsidy suspects

what if we all decided to invest the same amount of time and energy spent on the Stella Oduah wahala on our assembly members. We cant allow a tiny group of people bleed us dry in the name of "due process" and that was why i played the devils advocate during the minister's debacle but if we still decide to keep quiet then we shall just have to accept what ever they do. The hue and cries of Nigerians over our assembly members allowances has gotten the attention of the assembly members & the RMAFC who have promised to look into such evil aggrandisement by the next coming budget though we still have to keep focus and make sure something is really done about it, i personally have always been an advocate of a 70% reduction in all emoluments accruable to NA members or better still a "pay as you sit" stipend & i wont change mouth now or ever. We currently operate a bi - cameral legislature, what we need rather is a slightly expanded uni - cameral legislature which will drastically cut down the 150 billion naira being spent on assembly members annually & it is our duty as Nigerians to make sure that a minute section of the society stops r@ping us with their selfishness. All i say is that a minority of about 600 - 700 people can never hold 150 million + people hostage once we decide to drop ethnic & religious rivalries used by the political elite to keep us busy while they loot & starve us dry. Funny thing is even our so called "progressives" in both chambers see nothing wrong in their satanic allowances SMH. A referendum will surely lead to a constitutional amendment.

In the first place, is the APC a yoruba party or a national party ? Secondly, neither Gej nor any group of people outside the national assembly has the power to implement recommendations of such a conference since this is not a military dictatorship but rather a constitutional issue. So the best option out is to lobby or heckle the NA until approval for a referendum on salient points of the conference is given while the rest can be sifted and added to the constitution where relevant.
