That I'm from south south is besides the point, the problem as I see it was not just the rhetoric of no man's land by the SE. I believe it's more of the outcome of the presidential election in the state. It was a rude shock that galvanized the unprecedented violence. The SE have been going on with the no man's land before now, if I recall, but the actual outcomes that played out during the election was responsible for the violence.
